The ever-fitness-minded Madonna decided to go for a bike ride this weekend in London, England and opted to wear a custom-painted tracksuit for the occasion. Now, I know that Madonna is the Queen of pop music … and you likely know that she is the Queen of pop music … but there are some people out there who are not aware that Maddy is the Queen … so she decided to wear a tracksuit jacket on her bike ride to inform people that, yes, she is the Queen.
OMG … how much do I love everything about these photos. First, Maddy on a bike is just … amazing. That track jacket is just brilliant. There has been some talk that Madonna is planning her next album and as much as I love these photos, I think I’d much prefer that Madge get off the bike and into a recording studio ;)

The sad thing is this is not a “tongue in cheek” statement for Madonna. She is the most narcissistic celebrity ever born. Give it a rest…your almost 53. Accept it and move on.

Agreed. Furthermore, anyone who has ever watched/read a Madonna interview knows she has a really biting wit and is very acerbic, this shirt is just her having a laugh. Although, she is aware that she is the most successful female artist ever, and goes about letting not only us, but the people who are riding high on the hog right now (Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, etc..) that she is, indeed, the one with not only the most credibility but the one with the most stamina to lay claims to the title of Queen.
She has admitted that she’s not the best dancer or singer on numerous occasions whereas her most recent pretender laid claims to being one of the best singers, songwriters, and all around great performers within the first two years of her two and a half year career. If any celeb is narcissistic it’s Lady Gaga. The most pretentious woman on earth.

Madonna, by virtue of being Madonna, is being “hip” and/or rather tongue in cheek. She is the Queen of Pop music. Period. Hence ‘The Queen” hoodie she was wearing. She is also aware that being the biggest pop star on earth, she is scrutinized and dissected on a daily basis. Does she know she’s the Queen of Pop? Yes. Does she know she’s going to be photographed in the hoodie? Yes. She’s just taking the piss out of those who detract from her success. End of.
