Last night actors Saoirse Ronan and Eric Bana were joined by fellow celebs at the premiere of their new film Hanna at the Regal Union Square in NYC, NY. I am really excited for a host of new films this year and ever since I saw the trailer for Hanna a couple of months ago, the film went straight to the top of my must see list. Check out some photos from the red carpet arrivals last night.
Saoirse, who was EXCELLENT in The Lovely Bones (actually, she was the only good thing about the film), stars as Hanna … a young girl trained to be an assassin who sets her sights on Cate Blanchett‘s character in an act of revenge on behalf of her father, played by Eric Bana. There is something about the way the film is presented in the trailer that makes it look amazingly kickass to me:
I’ve been so wrapped up in The Hunger Games book series lately that I have transferred some of that love to this film. Hanna opens here in the US tomorrow and I am deffo planning to be there opening day. If you’re looking for a great film to see this weekend, I’m thinking Hanna is going to be that film.

I have heard this film is amazing and really exciting. I think Saoirse has so much talent…even though I have no idea how to pronounce her name. ;) She was great in Atonement as well. Not to mention the legendary Cate Blanchette is in this film. I am so excited to see it!

pronunciation of the name: SEER-SHA. We Irish like to throw vowels around for no apparent reason. Movie does look kick ass though.

I started reading The Hunger Games last week and I LOVE it!! I can’t wait to see the movie now. I also can’t wait to see this one. I love Saoirse, and I agree..she has grown into a very beautiful woman!
