Kingston James McGregor Is A P.I.M.P.

Little Homie's Got Game

We’ve known for some time that Kingston James McGregor, the eldest son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, is a little fierce fashionista … but did you also know that his a wicked ladies’ man as well? ‘Tis true. Kingston, while chillin’ at the park yesterday with his father, managed to successfully put the moves on a young girl who seemed very smitten with the lad. Of course, Kingston needed a bit of coaching from his dad but … in the end, Kingston got the girl’s phone number. That’s pretty slick for a 5 year old kid.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdales eldest son Kingston has always appeared to be a confident little boy. And yesterday the four-year-old showed he had inherited his parents’ charm as he sat chatting with a girl he met in the park. The youngster even appeared to swap phone numbers with her while on a boys day out at the park with his father, Bush front man Rossdale. At first, a nervous-looking Kingston needed some encouragement from his father who reassured him before he sat for a while and chatted with the young lady. Initially the fashion forward tot, wearing jeans and a white vest, tried to hide behind his father who grinned and helped his son by talking to the girl himself. Eventually Kingston built up the confidence to sit down on the wall next to her and begin talking. In an adorable and touching moment in the young boy’s life, the little girl and Kingston then appeared to swap phone numbers on their matching iPhones. After spending some time being pushed on the swings the father and son duo then headed back to their car to head home. ‘That was a big moment…It was like watching him tie his shoes for the first time,’ Gavin was over heard saying as he walked to the car.

LOL! Let’s forget for a moment that it’s really odd for a 5 year old kid to have a cellphone and just marvel at how cute this is. You can just tell that Kingston pretty dope for a little kid. He deffo has a style all his own and deffo has a lot of personality. I’m guessing that he will grow up to be quite the little star one day. After all, he’s already got his first groupie/fan … can superstardom be far behind?

His massively bleached hair disturbs me.

  2. Chivonne

He has an iPhone. Sorry that’s all I kept thinking after I read that.

  3. I think those pictures are HILARIOUS!!! Especially the one when she is touching his arm…so funny!!! He is one stylish dude.

  4. Sorry but the fact that Gwen dresses her boy up like that and gives him a haircut like that makes me ill. He’s not your Barbie doll.

    • @Kieren — Kids do have style opinions of their own. I think it’s more a matter that Gwen lets Kingston express himself the way he wants to. I’m sure she has some influence but it’s possible she’s just letting her son be who he wants to be.

    • Janaegal

I agree w/ Trent on this one. It’s pretty reasonable to assume that he (Kingston) is surrounded by rock and fashion types A LOT and his personal style is maybe influenced by that. Gwen and Gavin don’t exactly dress like middle america, so why would Kingston want to. I love that they let him express himself.

  5. Val 2.0

His hair looks really processed. Has anyone confirmed it’s been bleached, or does this kid just have very unfortunate hair?

    • @Val 2.0 — I don’t think it’s every been confirmed that his hair is bleached but the kid does have roots so …

    • Dianna

A lot of kids have bleach blonde hair growing up. My hair was that shade when I was his age and got darker as I grew up but it was always a bit darker underneath from not being hit by the sun. This is my rationale in hoping his hair is just like that and is not dyed.

    • Meghan

He has really noticable roots. Little kids with naturally very light hair do not have roots. He also has dark eyebrows. His hair has definitely been processed.

  6. He’s cooler than me.. :(

  7. Kristin

Why would a girl who looks to be at least 3-4 years older than him be interested in a 5 year old?

    • Kellyr

      She’s his first cougar <3

    • Janaegal

Cause his parents are kick ass rockstars and she is a smart little lady?

    • Kristin

Yeah, see that’s why it would suck to be a celeb. You never know if people are just being nice to you because they really like you or if they just want to be around a star. That’s gotta mess with your ego, I have to imagine.

  8. Gentgiant

I can’t wait to follow him on twitter!

  9. Panti Christ

Love Love Love! Looks like a fun day for father and son!

  10. ashley

girls tend to grow taller at the age then boys do.

  11. JRad

    That is beyond adorable.

The girl looks a lot older though…

  12. Kattmow

There is no way a 5 year old wants to wear half of the horrendous clothes he does. It’s clear that that mad woman bleaches his hair, she’s done it since he was a baby from looking back at older pictures of him as you can clearly see how brittle and damaged his hair is. Crazy bitch.

  13. Kattmow

Yes, but how much of that is influenced by parents wanting them to look that way?

    • @Kattmow — Yes but … didn’t we all look up to our parents and want to emulate them? My point is I think it’s a bit harsh to assume that Gwen is playing with her child like he’s a doll. Celebrity kids get to be indulged a lot more than regular kids but still … kids are kids. They know what they want.

    • Trust me..If he didn’t want to wear something she picked out, he’d let his mom know..That’s how most 5 year-olds are..You couldn’t PAY my son to wear this adorable button up shirt I bought him when he was 5..He hated it and he let me know..Turd..

    • kattmow

yeah and I agree with that but sometimes I think been influenced by things at a small age can maybe distrupt a child from developing their own little personality, i imagin when your growing up with flamboyant parents your obviously as child going to go along with it untill you reach an age when you begin to think different.
Just look at David Bowies kids, who grew up with ridiculous names, when they came to begin to actualy develop their own personalities and views they went out and changed their names and life styles to something less brash.

  14. Manderz

that little girl is quite the cougar huh!! Although as adorable as it is…it really makes me sad they both have cooler phones then me :(

  15. brandi

i have a real problem with people getting upset with his mother, assuming she’s dressing him up like her ‘barbie doll’. don’t all parents usually dress their kids up and influence what they wear? parents buy kids what they want them to wear and lots of times MAKE them wear those clothes. the only difference here is that the clothes that he’s wearing are not ‘traditional’ – they’re different. so what? i could use the same argument against anyone who doesn’t let their kid pick out every single piece of clothing they wear. he’s wearing a tank top and jeans. big deal.

  16. Bekki

His hair is obviously lightened but it’s pretty short and his roots aren’t that dark so it’s unlikely that is very damaged or over processed … especially considering the experience an A list hair stylist would have.
And of course he has an iPhone, lets not fool ourselves as soon as they can control their fingers and stop putting everything in their mouths celeb kids are all issued with them!
I’m a little more freaked out by the fact that he’s being encouraged to be a player when he’s so young. But I just can’t not love this kid and his family!

  17. krissy

I remember seeing pictures when he was younger that showed that his hair was bleached. Letting your kid chose whatever fashion he wants is one thing, but bleach is pretty harsh. Waaay too harsh for a child, IMO. That is approaching Toddlers & Tiaras territory.

  18. Sarah

I’m less upset by the fact that he’s fashion-forward and his hair is processed to within an inch of its life, but more upset that the young girl in these photos is dressed like a slutty tween. Honey, do yourself a favor and don’t let the paps take pictures of your upper thighs. Where are her parents? What parent lets their 9 year old daughter wear such a short dress? Creepy.

    • perdiz

im fairly certain that if she were standing up the dress would be much longer. also its not really her fault that they are taking pictures of her. im sure that wasnt what she thought would happen when she went to the park that day. they may not know that is what the dress did when she sits down. also, not that it has anything to do with the pictures per say, shirley temple wore dresses MUCH shorter than this…..

    • @Sarah – Are you seriously calling a little girl in a sundress a slut? Are you effing nuts? My 9 month-old niece doesn’t wear pants sometimes..Is she a ho in training? Geebus..Pull the stick out, chickie..

  19. Yeah right, he “wants” to have his hair bleached and wear clothes that you would see a 16 y/o female wear. Get real Trent, his mommy is trying to make a statement with this kid. No little boys care about style or how they look at that age. You don’t even have kids, I’ve been around them all my life.

    • @Kieren — “No little boys care about style or how they look at that age.” LOL. I’m sorry but you are wrong.

    • perdiz

im with trent. i remember my little brother at that age. he refused to wear anything he didnt want to. my parents let us dress ourselves and we may not have been as fashionable as kingston is but we sure thought we were.

  20. sally

why do y’all have to pass judgments on them? why cant we just enjoy the photos as they are? @kattmow, you’re being too harsh on a family you know nothing about. let them decide how to raise their kids and you can do whatever you want with them. personally, i would love to have a cool mum like gwen. =)

  21. sally

sorry, i meant “let them decide how they want to raise their kids and you can do whatever you want with yours.” lol.

  22. Sanchez

Oh my god that kid is THE most adorable kid I have ever seen. My cousin had hair the exact same color when he was little. I could be wrong because I don’t regularly view photos of other peoples kids but it almost looks like he wears his hair shorter (shaved?) on the part of his head where it looks darker. I don’t have kids (NO THANK YOU) so I can’t criticize anyone for the way they choose to raise theirs. There is no one “right” way I don’t think. Parents aren’t magic, they’re just people. Some of them need to realize that sometimes I think when they’re so quick to judge others.
