Last week we saw photos of Daniel Radcliffe rehearsing for his return to the Broadway stage in the revival musical of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and today we learn that his show successfully opened in previews this weekend! DanRad‘s first preview performance was last night at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre and he happily hung out after the show to sign a few autographs for this throng of admiring fans.
It looks like Dan is really happy to be back on Broadway. Considering this is his first singing & dancing role, I’m certain he is well-prepared for the task of leading a Broadway musical. I think I’ll have to wait until my next trip to NYC in the Spring to see him in this show but I am anxious to check it out. He was so amazing in the Broadway play Equus and, of course, as Harry Potter …. I can’t wait to see him in a more musically theatric part.

Good on him for getting out there and doing something different. He appreciative for, but wise to break out of the “Potter” typecasting and will continue being a big star! Can’t wait to see him again on Broadway.
