Robert Pattinson & Reese Witherspoon Back On The Set Of ‘Water For Elephants’

When last we saw photos here on the blog of Robert Pattinson on the SoCal set of his upcoming new film Water For Elephants, it was July and he was running around with a cute little dog. Since that time, the first movie trailer for the film was released and the movie looked on track for release. BUT, a few scenes for the flick had to be reshot so R. Pattz and his co-star Reese Witherspoon had to get their buns back to the set to do the reshoots.

Now, it’s not unusual for a film to order reshoots but it does seem a bother for the actors to have to return to a set that they left months ago and get back into character again. I’ve heard conflicting opinions from Pink readers about the novel Water For Elephants so I think I’m just gonna hold off and wait ’til the film gets released and see the movie. I just hope these reshoots make the film better and are not a sign that the movie is in trubs.

I read Water For Elephants earlier this month and I LOVED IT! It was a great story and I couldn’t put the book down. I’m glad I read it before I saw the movie but excited to see it!

I read the book last week.I read it in a couple of days. Loved it!

Seriously – read the book! Beautifully written.

As said above, read it! It’s a really light read and not a commitment at all.

    Quick read, beautifully written.

I agree with everyone above – great read and easy – and it’s only $5.00 on if you have a nook or nook ap. Well worth the money!

Trent! You HAVE to read the book first – it is amazing! It will make you more excited to see the movie, I promise! :o)

I’m only half way through but so far I’ve really enjoyed it. I thought it would be some fluffy novel to read but I find it to be quite dark, gritty and even gruesome when it pertains to some of the animals.

Whether or not I still love it at the end remains to be seen but I will say I really admire sara gruens writing style. I rarely find I’m able to be completely captivated but she’s able to paint a clear pictures of the surroundings reminiscent of jk rowling.

i agree… read the book first. you’ll whip right through it i was done in a few days! really really should read it first… the books are always better than the movies!

Trent, you gotta read the book first!!! movies dont tend to do books justice – cause they usually change things – this is deffo a book to read before the seeing the movie.

  • Cristina

I agree with everyone above – Quick read, engaging, and beautifully written. I also prefer to read the book before seeing the movie in most instances – it’s harder for me to get into a novel when I am expecting certain events to happen.

Man, RPattz and Reese look tired and cranky! :(

Oh noo please read the book!! Its so good, and looks from the preview that the movie will be not as great…
