Former Cheers and Fraiser star Kelsey Grammer, who is currently still married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer despite the fact that he has been carrying on an extra-marital affair [which included a failed pregnancy] for the past year, has petitioned the judge overseeing his divorce to put the proceedings on the fast track. Kelsey wants to be legally divorced from Camille as quickly as possible so that he can marry his new fiancee Kayte Walsh as soon as humanly possible.
Kelsey Grammer has asked a judge to put a rush order on his divorce from Camille Grammer, so he can marry his girlfriend … TMZ has learned. Kelsey is asking the divorce judge to grant the divorce decree asap, and leave all of the money issues for later. In legalese, it’s called “bifurcation.” Under California law, a divorce can become final 6 months after a petition is filed. Camille filed on July 1, 2010 … so if the judge grants Kelsey’s request for bifurcation, he can marry Kayte Walsh Saturday, January 1. Kelsey and Kayte have been engaged for several months.
Ugh. How many times can Camille Grammer get publicly slapped in the face and not lose her mind. Granted, if you watch her on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills you might believe that she is merely getting her karmic retribution for the shitty way she’s acted toward others but still … the very public way that Kelsey is trying to dump her ass (and as quickly as possible) is pretty brutal.
Camille, for her part, still maintains that she she loves Kelsey … despite the fact that he no longer loves her and wants to be married to another, younger woman:

The loneliness – Kelsey and I, this was our favourite holiday to spend together,’ she said. ‘Kelsey enjoyed decorating the tree and that’s something we all did as a family, and so last night I was decorating the tree with the kids alone and it brought a tear to my eye, or several.’
As sad as all of this may be for Camille at least she can rest assured in the fact that she will be well-taken care of financially as the mother of Kelsey‘s two youngest children. It remains to be seen if she will still be able to live in the luxurious manner that she has become accustomed to but … well … them’s the breaks. I bet it wont’ be long until Kelsey is married again … and Camille will be single and alone.

@Sue — While I agree that the medium we saw on RHOBH is likely a fraud, I disagree that all mediums are frauds. I believe that some people are clairvoyant.
@Trent..well, we all have a right to believe what we want to believe but, I personally do not believe anyone has the ability to speak to the dead, see the past or predict the future. Clairvoyant’s, psychic’s and fortune teller’s prey on the weak minded and are very good at reading people’s reactions and very good at being extremely vague. There are almost a dozen organizations offering challenges, the most notable being James Randi’s $1M challenge, to anyone that can prove they have this ‘gift’. Hundreds of people have taken the challenge, yet not one has been able to prove their claim and collect the reward. Sylvia Brown was offered the challenge on the Larry King show. She accepted, then never contacted Mr. Randi. Allison DuBois was offered the challenge and she said the money didn’t exist (which it does and is easy to find if you google it). Then she was offered $1M from James Randi to prove the money didn’t exist. So far, Allison hasn’t collected a penny. Maybe there are people out there that have this ability, but I’m not convinced. ;-) *shrugs*

I wonder if Camille’s repulsive, physhic friend saw this coming, or does she only see the misfortune of Camilles’s enemies. If I was Kyle I would be ROTFLMAO. Camille deserves everything Kelsey is doing to her, she is absolutely vile. I can’t wait to see the episode of RHOBH, when she gets the news that Kelsey’s dumping her ass. Maybe for moral support she can lean on all her ”friends” i.e. paid staff members.
I bet that is why he wanted her on the Real Housewives, because he wanted to leave her for years and knew if people saw her for the nasty person she is, they would have more sympathy for him. No matter how he did it – and he is being a jerk about it.
@ShawnaLanne — I agree that Kelsey prolly wanted Camille on the show but mainly to keep her occupied while he was off in NYC doing whatever he wanted. I think her nastiness was just a natural side effect of Camille gettin’ used to the limelight.

I find cheating to be a disgusting thing for anyone to do to another person..But I can’t help not being disgusted with Kelsey Grammer’s cheating..I guess Camille comes off so self-centered and self-important on the RH show that I have no sympathy for her..And nothing will really change for the kids..It seems they’re never around her OR their dad much..Hopefully they keep those nannies as they seem to be the only ones that consistently spend time with the poor dears..

@Trent remember that episode in RHofBH where we see her reading a copy of what looked to be “The art of War” by Machiavelli? Who do you think she even learned about Machiavelli? None of her so called friends seem to be brain banks and she asked for elocution and general Pygmalion lessons when they got together.

I am pretty shocked that everyone thinks Camille deserves this. I don’t like the woman myself on the show but what Kelsey is doing is despicable. No one should have to endure the very public humiliation of having your husband cheating on you with with a younger woman, impregnating her, and is rushing to the altar with her. Whatever Camille did, they do have two young children who will know of all these details. Kelsey is disgusting for what he is putting his family through.
Good point Linh! I’ve watched a couple eps of RHBH and while Camille seems like a superficial moron, has her behavior really been SO awful? Kelsey is a dog who’s been married (4?) times. She helped him stay sober, had kids w him, then he picks up a stewardess and impregnated her before even divorced. Sad when u keep having to trade in trophy wives for younger ones. Finally Linh, someone with some sense. I too am not a huge fan of Camille’s neither am I a fan of anyone on this show, Lisa excluded, but no wife deserves this. Kelsey is acting like on of those douchebags you see at the club who chuck their girlfriends because they found a new own who’s a D cup by the bar. He’s acting like a man who has not grown up. Some of you are chatizing her because you may not like the way sheacted and the things she’s said or her friends say but I’m sure I can find people in your lives that would say the same about some of you… I guess that means that you all deserve to b cheated on and publicly humilated. What people have not focused on is the fact that this man has children with Camille. They will one day have access to the internet where they can read how their father dumped their mother, kids at schoolcan throw it in their faces when need be. But all you people can focus on is the fact that you don’t like Camille. Women are not disposable, you can’t you love us and leave us as you choose. Trade us in for a newer model like we’re last years Blackberry or Iphone. This essentially is what this man has done and I am almost sickened to hear all of you approve.
BTW… RHW is a reality show, it is not real life. It is carefully edited and sometimes scripted. Its has remained very clear that in every RHW there is a clear cut villan, regardless if they deserve that title or not.
I’ve never watched the show she is on but I can say this, the future Mrs. Grammer should take this as a HUGE lesson. No matter how vile the impending ex is or isn’t, if he is willing to do this to a wife, he’ll have no problem doing it to the next wife. We should all take a lesson in how our significant others treat a former significant other. You just never know what the future may bring. Trust me, I’ve learned this lesson the hard way.
Of course it is a reality show and edited. But her personal confessionals are all her. Yes, it is disgusting how K.G. is acting. Not okay at all, especially how publically he is doing this, but marriages end – and I think based on things that have come out of her mouth in the confessionals – not even with the other women, that she is a witch and I would want her out of my life.

I agree with everyone’s comments but if you watch the rhobh the one I feel sorry for is Nick’s wife! The way Camille and he act towards each other is (is way beyond what friends act toward each other. I don’t kiss and hug (and play tennis, show up in Las Vegas, etc..with my “friend” (who is married) but Camille doesn’t seem to have a problem with that..She is not considering Nick’s wife and neither is “Nick”! They are both disgusting and deserve each other.
