On Monday Broadway actor Christoper Tierney fell 30 feet and was injured in a failed stunt during a performance of the cursed musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. As you may recall, Tierney‘s fall caused quite a bit of drama for the embattled Broadway musical … but, at last, the show will begin performances TONIGHT. Unfortch for Tierney, he won’t be in tonight’s show … in fact, he won’t even been allowed to go home for Xmas … because he’ll be spending the next few days hospitalized in the intensive care unit.

The guy who plummeted 30-feet on Broadway in a Spider-Man costume — breaking his elbow, some ribs, and cracking his skull — won’t be going home for X-Mas … in fact, he’ll be holed up in an ICU. Spidey actor Christopher Tierney’s dad tells TMZ, the family was set to have Christmas at home before the tragic accident earlier this week — but now they’re making arrangements to be with him at the hospital in NYC. But all’s not lost — Tierney’s dad tells us, “[Chris] cannot wait to get back into the Spidey costume … It wont be as soon as he would like but … his spirits are high and he cannot wait to get back.” We’re told Christopher will remain in the ICU until Monday and then move on to rehab.
Poor guy. It’s bad enough that he was pretty severely injured in the fall … but now he has to spend Xmas in the hospital? Sucks!! Welp, I guess this goes to show … no matter how bad some people may have it this Xmas, at least not many are cursed with being actors in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Get well soon, Chris!!
