Last Thursday, in a tweet message where she made first mention of her romantic relationship with beau Jason Trawick, Britney Spears shared that she and Jason were heading off to enjoy a romantic weekend together in celebration of her birthday. Today we learn that Britwick made their way to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico by way of private jet and the pair enjoyed a relaxing, fun and loving weekend together:
Britney Spears celebrated a very happy long birthday weekend with boyfriend Jason Trawick during a romantic trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. “When they landed, she got to the [private] villa and was blown away,” a source tells PEOPLE of the couple, who arrived on Dec. 2, Spears’s 29th birthday. “Jason had arranged a red velvet cake for her birthday” … “They suntanned and did a lot of relaxing and decompressing,” says the source. “They seemed very much in love. ” Indeed, a source close to Spears told PEOPLE last week that “the couple’s relationship is better [than ever]. Britney and Jason lately have been very happy together.”
Awww … this is great news! Yay!! After the horrible rumors the couple had to endure last week (on Britney‘s birthday, even), I’m glad to hear that Britwick managed to escape it all and have themselves a superfun weekend. I just love Britney and Jason together … I honestly think he is the best thing to happen to her in a long time. Long live, Britwick!! Here’s to many, many years ahead of happy, happy romantic getaways together :)
