Scarlett Johansson, who hosted this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live (to not much hilarity, IMHO), is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of GQ magazine. ScarJo graces the cover of GQ because she has been dubbed by the mag as the Babe of the Year:

“At 26, she remains fresh-faced, curious, trying on new moods and outlets of expression as easily as she changes her hair color. This is what we love about Scarlett: that she’s game, that she’s good, that she can try on all these guises without seeming to try too hard. And all the while still seem genuinely like the observant, inquisitive (and very cute) girl in transition we fell for in Lost in Translation.”
You gotta love that Scarlett is able to score a magazine cover and title like this despite the fact that she doesn’t really have any projects to promote right now. The last thing that I can think of her starring in is Iron Man 2, which came out last Spring. The fact that this little GQ blurb has to mention her film Lost In Translation, which came out 7 years ago, is also a bit comical. But, ScarJo is deffo a babe and to GQ she is the Babe of the Year. After the jump, check out a few photos from Scarlett‘s GQ photospread …

Scarlett is hot, no question … hubby Ryan Reynolds is a lucky man. I suppose congratulations are in order as are salutes to GQ magazine’s Babe of the Year! All hail!

She is so damn hawt! I love most of her movies and I really do enjoy her too (many of my friends don’t). I think this is a fitting title for one hell of an accomplished 26 year old!!
Can…we see pictures of her hubby too? I mean, just to ensure he’s worthy….;)
Yep, she’s HOT! What’s up with the weird angles though? I can understand for one shot, but all of them?
Smoke Show!!
My neck hurts…all of her poses are sideways. But yes, agreed, she’s pretty damn attractive.
No question, very babealicious, but she looks uncomfortable!
She’s got a great body, but what’s with the cover? Nice view of her nose?
Iron Man 2 feels like aggggges ago. It was def a let down from the first IMO, still a great comic book film nonetheless. But yeah, has been upstaged by many other films this year for me.
Just bring on The Avengers, I can tell Whedon is gonna bring all kinds of epic crap all over that film!
