International superstar Kylie Minogue has joined the talent line-up of the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Kylie is poised to create a commotion with this special Thanksgiving Day performance when America’s favorite holiday tradition steps off at 9:00 AM on Thursday, November 25th, ready to entertain more than 3.5 million spectators lining the streets of Manhattan and more than 50 million viewers nationwide. Previously announced stars joining the festivities this year include India Arie, Big Time Rush, Betty Buckley, Ann Hampton Callaway, the casts of Broadway’s American Idiot, Elf, Memphis, Million Dollar Quartet, the Big Apple Circus, the cast and Muppets of Sesame Street, Miranda Cosgrove, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, Gloriana, Michael Grimm, Arlo Guthrie, Keri Hilson, Eric Hutchinson, Juanes, Victoria Justice, Gladys Knight, Mannheim Steamroller, Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih, Power Rangers Samurai, Joan and Melissa Rivers, Crystal Shawanda, Jessica Simpson, and Kanye West. The 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (in all time zones) on NBC-TV.
Not only will this news undoubtedly thrill Kylie‘s legion of fans here in the US but it will also introduce her to even more folks here in the US. Kylie‘s performance at the parade will be a nice precursor to the live concert tour she is planning to bring here to North America next year. Who knows … Kylie Minogue may actually break here in the US after all ;)

WOW….Kylie must have got a new publicist because she is really making a lot of appearences here in the USA. She is also going to be participating in the lighting of the Christmas Tree in Rockafeller Center on November 30th. Great to see her on the tube so much! I just wish we could get her songs played on the radio here. I contacted several radio stations here in the Palm Springs area about playing her new singles from Aphrodite and they said that they couldn’t get them from the record company.
