Two weeks ago we got our first listen to Breaking News, the first song teased from the new posthumous album of new material to be released by the late Michael Jackson next month and today we get to hear another track from the album titled Michael. Hold My Hand is a duet featuring Akon and it is being released as the official first single from MJ‘s new album … here is the artwork for the single:

Now, this Hold My Hand song has been leaked previously so some of us have heard it before … but Akon has fully produced the track for inclusion on the album so this version might sound a bit different from the leaked version that hit the Internets last year. It’s very clear that Michael Jackson is singing on this track (tho, I suspect his vocals have been beefed up or added to in certain parts of the song) and it sounds very much like an Akon collaboration (“Akon and MJ”). I think this song will satisfy MJ fans much more than the release of Breaking News did. Hold My Hand, Breaking News and the rest of the tracks featured on Michael will be released together on December 14. So … what do y’all think of this track?
