On Sunday we got our first look at the new teaser video for Scream 4 that was world premiered at the taping Saturday night of the 2010 Spike Scream Awards. Today we get to check out a higher quality EXTENDED version of the trailer. Because Australia is awesome, the folks down under got to see an extended version of the Scream 4 teaser trailer … which hasn’t even aired properly on US TV:

Oh boy, things don’t look good for Gail. But then again, it’s Gail. As they stated in Scream 2, she has 9 lives so even if she gets stabbed, she could live.
I’m just hoping both Syd and Gail make it out for this alive!

I had no idea that Kristen Bell was in this movie…I bet you she’s just a small role, similar to Rebecca Gayheart and Portia DeGeneres in “Scream 2.”
Is Patrick Dempsey not in the movie? I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a small appearance and was killed off in the first few minutes of the film like Drew Barrymore and Liev Schreiber, thus bringing Sidney into the story.
Growing up with these films, I’m excited to see the story continue with Sidney, Gale and Dewey all returning. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the three didn’t turn out to be the killer (or one of the killers if there turns out to be more than one). Maybe Dewey lost it after he and Gale divorced and he went psycho?
