Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of actor/governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kennedy family politico Maria Shriver, was spotted out in public with his mother this past weekend after the pair enjoyed a yoga work-out session together. As you can see from the following photos, the young Schwarzenegger seems to be as keen on physical fitness … just like his muscle-bound dad:

His father used to have the best body in the world, and it looks as though Patrick Schwarzenegger is following in his footsteps. The 17-year-old stepped out without his shirt in Los Angeles over the weekend, showing off his six-pack and biceps. The Governor of California’s son did not achieve his muscles through body-building like Arnold though. His strong, lean physique is the result of yoga, while Arnold famously bulked up through body building. He worked up a sweat at an LA yoga studio, and walked to his car dressed only in gym shorts, and carrying his jumper and slippers. Patrick was joined by mother Maria Shriver, who covered up in a brown T-shirt and leggings.

OMG … I love the sight of mother and son going to yoga together. Despite the fact that Patrick looks very much like a younger version of his father, it’s really sweet to see a son who is so close with his mother. I much prefer the idea of building up one’s body with yoga rather than raw weight lifting. I foresee big things for young master Schwarzenegger.
