Trent Reznor Announces The Imminent Release Of New Music
SQUEEEEEEE!!!

Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nails frontman and music composer for the upcoming new film The Social Network, has announced on his official Twitter profile that we will be hearing “new music” this week … here is the tweet announcement:

Now, my guess is that the new music we’ll be hearing this week will be from The Social Network soundtrack … but Mr. Reznor can be very unpredictable. He could release a new song from his How To Destroy Angels band or possibly a new NIN track … or even an entire free album. You just never know. I know I am not alone in my excitement to hear any new music from Trent Reznor. Stay tuned … we should be hearing something very soon.

So good to see NIN news on the site again! Or, at least, TR news.

Trent, I saw an early screening of The Social Network and his score is amazing. I can’t wait to buy that release.

I believe Trent said there was going to be Two NIN projects and one non-related NIN project released throughout 2010. My guess is that this will be the score of The Social Network as well, however…I won’t be surprised if we get another addition to the Ghosts collection or something.

It seems like the NIN-related project may be postponed until next year. This is most likely the “Social Network” soundtrack.
