Some of you may recall that in December of 2009, Jake Gyllenhaal paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live so that he could do some promo for his film Brothers. During that interview, Jake revealed that he would be “baring almost all” in the film he was working on at the time titled Love and Other Drugs. Today, we get to check out the just released movie poster for the film Love and Other Drugs which pairs Jake with his Brokeback Mountain co-star Anne Hathaway:
To be honest, the sight of Jake wearing nothing but a pillow is enough to put a smile on my face any day of the week. Love and Other Drugs tells the tale of a pharmaceutical salesman, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, who is a horrible ladies man cad who manages to fall desperately in love with Anne Hathaway‘s character … blah blah blah. As much as I love me some Jake, the movie trailer for this film didn’t really grab me very much … so I’m counting on Jake‘s acting prowess to really do the trick for me. This has to be one of the sexiest movie posters to feature Jake Gyllenhaal I have ever seen … I CAN’T WAIT to see how much more we’ll get to see in the actual film … on the big screen … in motion. After all, Jake himself does promise that he “bears almost all” in the flick. Thank you sweet baby Jebus for this, thy bounty.

yummy :) i saw the promo for love and other drugs last night when i watched easy a. it looks cute and fun, if i wasnt convinced that i needed to watch the movie then i certainly am now.
Well it is the type of movie that I’d go and see, and they are both great actors. And Jake’s naked hiney has absolutely NO determination on whether I will go see it or not ;-)

I’ve seen two different versions of the trailer for this movie. One makes it look like a funny, slapstick rom-com, and the other made it look like a full-on drama. I’ll be interested to see where it actually falls on that scale.

I’m saddened by this news of the fake poster, but I will most likely see this movie as Jake and Anne are great actors. And Jake alone is a great excuse to go to the movies! ;)
