Yesterday we got our first look at the amazingly lifelike wax statue of popstar Rihanna that will be on display at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Washington DC and today we get to see a personal photo of Rihanna and her waxen doppelgänger which she shared on her official Twitter profile:

I think it’s safe to say that Rihanna approves wholeheartedly of this statue. I, too, approve of this statue … mainly because of how spot on perfect it is. I know some folks don’t think the statue is as perfect as I think it is but check out a side-by-side comparison of Rihanna and her wax statue and judge for yourselves …

Guy Ritchie and his Madonna-like girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, who we got to meet back in April of this year, were spotted enjoying a bit of family fun with his sons Rocco John and David Banda in London, England this week. As you can see, Guy‘s boys seem to be very fond of Jacqui … who is lookin’ more and more like Madonna every day:

It is not uncommon to see Madonna, toy boy Jesus Luz and her children out together, getting in to their chauffeured cars or leaving the Kabbalah centre in New York. So there is a little the superstar can say about the images of Guy and his new girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley enjoying a family dinner with her children Rocco and David. Five-year-old David looks to have taken a shine to the pop queen’s 28-year-old replacement, and was seen clinging to her as they walked down the street. Once inside the restaurant, the little boy insisted on sitting on Jacqui’s lap throughout the meal. Dressed in an understated outfit of jeans, biker boots and an elegant Chanel handbag, Jacqui smiled as David wrapped his arms around her waist outside the restaurant. Ten-year-old Rocco looked equally charmed, laughing as he skateboarded in front of them, and a smiling Guy looked happy to see his young girlfriend bonding with his children. It seemed the ink had barely dried on her divorce papers from Guy Ritchie when Madonna was playing happy families with the 23-year-old, but even so, the images are bound to hurt the 52-year-old a little.

Nah, I doubt that Madge is feeling any pangs of pain over seeing these kinds of photos … after all, she was the one who moved on first and I’m certain she is not losing any sleep over Guy and his new lady. I’m actually not at all surprised to see Rocco and David look so enamored of Guy‘s new ladylove … after all, she looks almost exactly like their mother! I’m just happy to see that the kids all seem pretty well-adjusted following the break-up of their parent’s marriage. Whether they’re with their mother Madonna and Jesus Luz or with their father Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley, all of the kids seem really happy and secure … and that is all that matters.

On Sunday we learned that Kylie Minogue will be launching a new world tour next year called Les Folies Tour 2011 and that she WILL be bringing that tour here to the US along the way. Today we get our first look at the official 2011 Kylie Minogue Calendar with which we can block out the dates in 2011 when we plan to see Kylie in concert:

Actually, Kylie calendars are notoriously difficult to use as calendars … they’re basically big poster books with the year’s tiny dates included along the edges (ie. there’s no space to write anything on any of the dates). BUT, you can certainly use a bright Sharpie marker to circle the dates that you plan to see Kylie on tour next year … and that is exactly what I’m planning to do. Jared Leto, the very hot actor and frontman of the band 30 Seconds to Mars, is back in NYC this week and was spotted out on the town riding bikes with his brother Shannon Leto. As usual, Jared was lookin’ incredibly hot … and he wasn’t even really trying:

I’m just amazed at how Jared Leto can take a usually trashy-looking sleeveless shirt and make it look so damn good. The man is a just a marvel … hotness personified. I really love his casual yet really chic style. Some people can make any look work and Jared is deffo one of those people. I think these photos of Jared a worthy of a hearty Le Sigh, don’t you?

Here are a few photos of Michael C. Hall, who I still contend was ROBBED of his much-deserved Emmy Award this past weekend, filming new scenes for the upcoming 5th season of the amazing Showtime drama Dexter. It would appear that MCH‘s Dexter character finds himself new employment in the new season of the show … as a bell hop?

Actually, it’s more likely that Dexter is trying to evade notice or capture while he does his normal day-to-day job as the serial killer with a heart of gold. We are just 25 days away from our return to the world of Dexter and very soon we will find out what will happen in the wake of last season’s SHOCKING ending. If there are any remaining eps of Dexter season 4 that you haven’t seen yet then YOU NEED TO WATCH THOSE EPS as soon as you can to prepare for season 5. Dexter is THE show that I am most looking forward to this Fall … I can’t wait!!!

Yesterday we got to check out mommy-to-be Miranda Kerr on the cover and in the pages of the new 3D issue of Vogue Italia magazine. Unfortch for us Bump Watchers, there was no bump to be seen in any of those photos. You may recall that we got a tiny peek at Miranda‘s tiny bump over the weekend but nothing from the Vogue photospread. Today we get to see a couple of screencaps from a promo video that features Miranda hawking her skincare line called Kora Organics. As you can see in these screencaps, Miranda‘s burgeoning baby bump is, well, beginning to burgeon:

She married in secret and kept the happy news that she is expecting under wraps for as long as she could. But now that she and husband Orlando Bloom have confirmed that the Victoria’s Secret model is pregnant, Miranda Kerr has revealed her small bump for the first time. In a video to promote her new organic skincare range Kora, 27-year-old Miranda’s burgeoning baby bump is obvious while she practices yoga. And while mere mortals would be quite pleased to have her figure even at four months pregnant, the slightly protruding stomach is an obvious change from her usual diminutive figure. It appears that the Australian supermodel will be following in the footsteps of her former Victoria’s Secret colleague Gisele Bundchen, and will maintain her enviable figure through her pregnancy. Miranda speaks on her virtuous lifestyle in the video, Miranda Kerr’s Organic Life with Kora … ‘Kora is about nurturing your core, your inner and outer self – your mind, your body and your spirit. Kora is a choice in how we live our lives,’ she says. ‘We can choose to fill our bodies with nutrients through eating organic foods. While I had no idea that Miranda Kerr had her own line of skincare it does not surprise me in the least. These days, celebs need to diversify as much as possible so that they can make mo’ money, mo’ money, mo’ money. It’s not at all clear when this promo video was made but obvs it was filmed in recent weeks … cuz we’ve got baby bump going on! This afternoon I will be flying back home to Detroit, MI for the rest of the week to spend time with my family and friends there. Princess Zakiya recently celebrated her 5th birthday, my BFF Sarah celebrates her birthday this coming Saturday and my mom celebrates her birthday the following weekend … so I’m going back home to celebrate the births of some of the most important peeps in my life:

Additionally, a group of friends and I will be attending the BIG Eminem & Jay-Z concert at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit tomorrow night. Em and Jay will only be playing shows in Detroit and NYC … so there is no way I was gonna miss the opening night show in Detroit Rock City. I’ve never seen either performer live in concert so I’m very excited.

Never fear, things will be totally normal here on the blog while I’m in Detroit … so have a Happy Hump Day and I’ll see y’all in Detroit :D

Yesterday we got our first look at Lindsay Lohan on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine and we learned from the troubled starlet that altho she claims to take ownership for the irresponsibility that has led to legal woes, she pretty much blamed all of her mistakes on everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink. Today we get to check out video footage provided by VF mag from Lindsay‘s nautical-themed VF photoshoot … here are a few screencaps:

Because the photoshoot was conducted in the days just before Lindsay‘s incarceration, you can see that she was still wearing her court-ordered alcohol monitoring SCRAM bracelet during the shoot. I assume the SCRAM is not featured in the final photos published in the mag but you can see it strapped to her ankle in this short video. Lindsay also gives a short interview about the photoshoot itself in this video clip, check it out after the jump …

Pop superstar and sometimes director Madonna has been hard at work overseeing the filming of her new film W.E. and yesterday tried to make a daring escape from the film set without anyone noticing … unfortch, she failed miserably. Maddy thought that she could evade notice by the swarm of paparazzi by donning a clever disguise … behold:

Perhaps she was really auditioning for a role in an upcoming detective movie, perhaps her has an Inspector Gadget fetish … whatever the case may be, she really needs an oversized magnifying glass and a curved pipe to really make this ensemble pop!
