Popstar Rihanna is the latest celeb to be immortalized in wax by the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in our nation’s capital city Washington DC. This new wax effigy of Ri Ri will be on display alongside other waxen luminaries like President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Madonna, Rosa Parks, The Jonas Brothers and Denzel Washington. Here is our first look at this tribute to Rihanna:
As with all wax statues … this statue could’ve been a disaster. I think they really got it right this time. The only thing that would make this version of Rihanna look like the real Rihanna would be if her hair were bright pink. If you get the forehead right, you get Rihanna right. Madame Tussaud’s really got the forehead right, don’t you think?

but this is clearly pre wack outfits & clown makeup. cause the girl is never that covered anymore
I think the statues forehead is much more severe than Rihanna’s original forehead! You could park a car on that forehead. ; )

The first time I saw the results I truly thought it was the ONE celebrity wax statue I’ve seen that really did look like the original star. However, now I do notice the forehead is a little big but it really does bare a striking resemblance to Rhianna!
there is something off around the mouth
They need to make it with interchangeable hair – like a Mrs. Potato Head – so they can keep up with her various hairstyles. Mohawk, bright red, shaved on one side? No problem!
As far as wax statues go, this one is actually extremely good. What’s off on the statue is where they have those lines coming from her nose. Rihanna’s face is smooth, her mouth does look like that. Other than that when I first saw the statue I thought it was really her and that she had gone back to her old look.
Well they measure the space on her forehead so I am sure that is pretty close to accurate! I am just suprised how spot on the whole wax figure is!! It is impressive!!
