Here is this week’s batch of photos sent in by Pink is the new Blog readers — Geana sends in an unfortunate update on the condition of her baby nephew Gage … after recently being released from the hospital after undergoing cancer treatments Gage had to be re-hospitalized due to a fever :( The poor little guy will likely be in the hospital for over a week so let’s get those thoughts and prayers going back out to Gage for his recovery — Alejandra from Chile is also asking for good thoughts and well wishes for the miners who are trapped there. I understand that it will take months for these men to be rescued from the mine that they are trapped in but they appear to be doing well and in fine spirits … let’s keep them in our thoughts and prayers — Stephanie, who attends the University of California in San Diego, is hosting her first art show this October but she needs a bit of help to raise funds for the event. Britney Spears and beau Jason Trawick continued to enjoy their little Hawaiian getaway together but decided to dry off and move away from the beach and the pool to do a bit of shopping at the luxury shops near their resort hotel. Britwick were spotted doing quite a bit of shopping at The Shops At Wailea yesterday afternoon … here are a few photos:

As I mentioned yesterday, Britwick are staying at the same resort hotel that David and I stayed at when we were in Maui, HI a few weeks ago and we, too, did some shopping at The Shops at Wailea (in fact, I may be the Foursquare mayor of a couple of shops there). It’s so fun to see these photos of Britwick on vacay, especially cuz I can picture where they are precisely because I was just there myself. There’s no telling how long the lovebirds plan to stay on the island but I doubt they’ll be there for very much longer … I’m sure Britney misses her children and let’s not forget that she’s in the process of recording her new album. Still, I hope Britney and Jason stay on the island for a bit longer … these daily photos are just too much fun.

It’s Emmy Weekend and you know what that means … parties, parties, parties! Entertainment Weekly magazine got things going last night by teaming up with Women In Film to host their annual Pre-Emmy Award soiree at the Restaurant at The Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood, CA. Many of the folks from True Blood were in attendance last night, including newlyweds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer who were photographed together for the first time since they hot hitched in Malibu, CA last weekend. Here are a few photos of some of the celebrants at EW‘s par-tay and some deets about the other soirées that took place around town last night:

Celebrities roaming the Entertainment Weekly and Women in Film pre-Emmy party late Friday night seemed to stay in packs. Fellow comedians Kathy Griffin and Bill Maher chatted outside the restaurant at the luxurious Sunset Marquis hotel, while adroit “Parks and Recreation” co-stars Adam Scott and Aubrey Plaza held court on the patio. Seth MacFarlane, nominated for original music and lyrics for “Family Guy,” and Seth Green, nominated in the voice-over category for “Robot Chicken,” kept each other in stitches near the bar. Inside, invitees filled golden goodies bags with free makeup. Other attendees included Craig Robinson from “The Office” and Jason Ritter from the upcoming “The Event.” The men of “Modern Family” reunited Friday night at the Emmys’ performers nominee reception at Wolfgang Puck’s Spectra inside the Pacific Design Center. Emmy nominees Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Fred Willard, along with Nolan Gould, who plays Burrell’s son on the ABC comedy, mingled at the posh cocktail party … On the other side of the party, “Dexter” actor James Remar and other attendees filled their plates with Chinese chicken salad, Shangri La lobster and miso-glazed salmon. Partygoers also feasted outside on the balcony on short ribs and sweet plantains while listening to a jazz band perform such tunes as “I Kissed a Girl” and the theme song from “Frasier.” Nominees in attendance, including “Mad Men” actress Elisabeth Moss and “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston, were presented with certificates by Academy of Television Arts and Sciences chairman John Schaffner, who recalled accidentally stepping on Glenn Close’s gown at a Screen Actors Guild event before he handed the “Damages” star her accolade.

There will be a host of parties going on here in LA tonight on the eve of the 62nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which will air LIVE on NBC tomorrow night at 8PM ET, 5PM PT. It won’t be long now … we will very soon find out if our fave TV shows and actors will walk away with the coveted Emmy trophies. Who are YOU rootin’ for to win?

Yesterday we played a not-so-difficult game of Guess Who where you were asked to guess which “celeb” was advertising for a Gorilla Juicehead on her t-shirt … in the Jersey Shore. Today, now that we know that it was Nicole Snooki Polizzi in search of a Gorilla [over 21] we learn that she was successful in her search. Snooks hooked-up with a baby Gorilla while filming new scenes for MTV‘s Jersey Shore this week:

It seems to be a man a minute for Jersey Shore’s Snooki at the moment. The diminutive reality star found herself yet another tanned muscly ‘Guido’ last night at a local club in Seaside Heights. Clad in a clinging black dress, the 22-year-old was seen wiping her mystery man’s brow before the couple began kissing in the corner of the club. It’s not the first time the star has been seen with a ‘gorilla juicehead’ of late. Earlier this month, she was spotted on the Seaside Heights board walk with 24-year-old Jeff Miranda following her split with her boyfriend of two months Emilio Masella, after suspecting he was cheating on her. But neither man seemed to be on Snooki’s mind yesterday as she danced on the stage holding the mystery man’s hand.

You know, Snooki may be unlucky when it comes to longterm love, but she seems to have no probs at all finding love in the short term. As long as there will be overly tanned Gorillas in the mist, methinks Snooki will always be able to enjoy the lurvin’.

Last Winter we learned that adidas Originals teamed up with George Lucas to release a line of shoes and apparel based on characters and vehicles from the iconic sci-fi movie series Star Wars (I managed to pick up a few different pieces from the collection myself). Today we get our first look at a new collection of shoes and apparel from the adidas Originals Star Wars Collection for Fall/Winter 2010-2011:

Just as the previous adidas Originals Star Wars Collection for 2010 was directly inspired by characters and vehicles, this upcoming fall and winter collection pays tribute to none other than R2-D2, C-3PO, Boba Fett, Jabba the Hutt and Han Solo in Carbonite, among others.

OMFG!! Kill me!! I was so obsessed with the first collection that I had to have the Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Storm Trooper, TIE Figther, and AT-AT shoes … now that a new collection has been unveiled, I simply MUST have the C3-PO, R2D2, Han Solo, Boba Fett and Jabba the Hut shoes! Earlier this week we learned that Paris Hilton awoke to the sight of a knife-wielding intruder trying to break into her home here in SoCal, an incident which sparked a call and response from the police. Today we learn that Paris, on the contrary, is the one in trubs with police … again. Paris was arrested last night on charges of cocaine possession when a small amount of the white stuff was found in a purse in her car in Las Vegas, NV:

Paris Hilton was arrested on the Las Vegas Strip late Friday after police saw a cloud of what they suspected was marijuana smoke wafting from the windows of a black Cadillac Escalade driven by her boyfriend, then found a small amount of cocaine in her possession. A crowd quickly gathered near the stop on Las Vegas Boulevard near the Wynn Las Vegas resort at about 11:30 p.m. PDT Friday, and Hilton was taken into the hotel “to keep her safe” during the initial investigation, police Lt. Wayne Holman said. The 29-year-old socialite and Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits were booked into the Clark County jail, police said. Hilton was released early Saturday morning without bail. Officer Marcus Martin said police found that Hilton had a substance that tests later showed to be cocaine, but he did not say how much of the drug was found. She was arrested on a felony cocaine possession charge. If convicted of the low-grade felony, Hilton would get probation, but any violation would be punishable by one to four years in jail. Clark County District Attorney David Roger declined to comment Saturday. Hilton’s attorney, David Chesnoff, told The Associated Press on Saturday morning that he was still gathering facts about the arrest. “But I caution people not to rush to judgment,” he said. Hilton’s manager did not immediately respond early Saturday to telephone calls for comment. Her publicist, Dawn Miller, did not immediately return an e-mail message. Jail records showed that Waits, 34, remained held pending a court appearance on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Hilton’s court date was not immediately available.

As mentioned above, Paris has already been released from jail without bail … a move that TMZ speculates means that either the amount of cocaine allegedly found in Paris‘s possession is minuscule or that the authorities cannot be sure that the purse containing the cocaine is actually hers:

Paris Hilton wouldn’t be caught dead with the purse that contained cocaine — and that will be her defense in her Las Vegas cocaine arrest … TMZ has learned. Sources who have spoken with Paris since her arrest on the Vegas strip late last night tell TMZ … she insists the purse — with what we’re told contained a small amount of cocaine — was not hers. As we first reported, she’s hired powerful Vegas lawyer David Chesnoff to handle the case … and he already got her sprung without posting bail … As for the Vegas case, as far as we know she was the only woman in the car that was stopped, but she had been partying at a club prior to the bust where other women and purses were present.

As you may recall, Paris was apprehended in South Africa during the 2010 World Cup on suspicion of marijuana possession but she managed to get released when she used the “It’s not mine” defense and the friend she was with was the one who took the fall for the weed that was found on their person. Then, just a few days later, Paris was stopped by authorities AGAIN on allegations of marijuana possession when she tried to enter France from South Africa … and again she got off Scott free. It sounds like the “It’s not mine” defense works well for her, my guess is that it will prolly get her off again this time. As for her new boyfriend Cy Waits? Well, since he already got busted on charges of drunk driving, chances are that Paris‘s lawyer will be able to argue that the purse containing the cocaine belongs to him as well because poor, sweet Paris Hilton would never get successfully caught with drugs in her possession … not when she has someone else to throw under the bus in order to take the heat instead.

Yesterday we got to check out a batch of promo photos released for the second season of the hit CW TV series The Vampire Diaries. Today we get to see a similar batch of photos released for the second season of hit Fox TV series Glee along with some deets about the season 2 premiere ep titled Auditions … behold:

Individual posters of “Glee” cast are done and released. There is nothing special from the new pictures since they use the same theme as last year, which is colorful backgrounds. However, something is new with Rachel Berry’s hairstyle for she grows a bang. “Glee” returns to FOX September 21 at 8/7c with the first episode being “Auditions”. In the second season opener, some new faces challenge old ones in Glee club auditions. Meanwhile new and old relationships leave some happy and others alone … it looks like previously-announced guest actor Chord Overstreet is going to be Kurt’s boyfriend. E! Online dug out the information from Jane Lynch who said the boyfriend is a “good-looking kid” who’s “tall, boyish with straight blond hair and big fat, pouty lips.” The description matches that of Overstreet’s.

Now, none of the new characters (including Chord Overstreet) are featured in these individual character promo photos but all of our faves from season one are represented. Check out another batch of Glee season 2 photos after the jump …

At the start of the month we saw fairly tragic, yet par for the course, photos of Amy Winehouse lookin’ especially trainwrecky and then just a few days later, we saw that the girl managed to clean herself up for a night on the town. Since that last sighting, Amy has managed to keep a low profile … well, until last night. Amy was either feeling frisky or she just had a nasty itch that she just couldn’t reach so she decided to rub her butt up against a door frame as she was photographed by the paparazzi:

As gross as it sounds, I honestly hope that Amy did have an itch to scratch cuz if she was actually trying to be sexy then she is far worse off that I imagined. I have no idea what heinous crime this door frame did to deserve this kind of punishment but I think it should be put out of its misery. In fact, a burning of the entire building might be in order. Ew.
