It would seem that Lindsay Lohan just cannot learn her lesson … the girl ended up getting busted by the cops AGAIN over the weekend, just days after she was released from custody over a previous traffic violation where she was convicted of drunk driving. Fortunately for L. Lo, she totally avoided punishment for this latest infraction … Lindsay, who was in a desperate rush to get to the Chateau Marmont, decided to drive her new Maserati thru a Stop sign without actually stopping, which of course got her pulled over by the police:

Lindsay Lohan was back in fine form last night, having a run-in with the West Hollywood police after blowing through a stop sign. Linds was desperate to get to the Chateau Marmont asap in her $150,000 Maserati GranTurismo 433 hp car and she neglected to stop at a stop sign — unfortunately for her, a cop was nearby and caught her. But guess what? He let her off! Finally someone has sympathy on poor Lindsay. She continued on her way to the Chateau with her friends and left around 1 am.

See, this is what I don’t understand … how is it that the California Department of Motor Vehicles thinks it’s a good idea for ANYONE for Lindsay Lohan to have her driver’s license. Let’s forget for a second the fact that she tends to get pulled over for these sort of traffic violations on a regular basis (and, amazingly, tends to get off Scott free) but let’s, instead, focus on the fact that she *just* got out of jail and rehab due to a major traffic violation (a little thing known as drunk driving). Wouldn’t it make sense to deny her a license for a year or so in addition to her other punishments which, you may recall, were not enforced fully anyway? It’s a joke the way celebs are treated when it comes to crimes like this. A total joke. This will not be the last time Lindsay will get busted while behind the wheel of a motor vehicle … mark my words.
