This past Saturday evening popstar/actress Hilary Duff married her hockey playing fiancée Mike Comrie in a lavish wedding ceremony in Santa Barbara, CA and today we get our first look at the couple’s wedding photos on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of OK! magazine … behold:
Hilary Duff said “I do” to her hockey player love, Mike Comrie last weekend and only OK! was invited exclusively to share their big day. In this week’s issue, check out the photos — the dress! The cake! The flowers! — and interview with the bride herself as she talks all about her special day and her new husband. Plus, learn all about Hilary’s Vera Wang-designed dress. Surrounded by a canopy of flowers, Hilary tied the knot with Mike at sunset on Aug. 15, at a private 1920s estate in Santa Barbara, Calif. Hilary, 22, and Mike, 29, exchanged vows as the bride’s sister, maid of honor Haylie Duff, and 100 of the couple’s family members and closest friends watched. And only OK! was there for the former Lizzie McGuire and Gossip Girl star’s big day. “It feels wonderful [to be married],” Hilary exclusively tells OK!. “It hasn’t fully sunk in yet!”
There she is … the beautiful, blushing bride. I have to say, I’m so used to seeing Hilary as the very young Lizzie Maguire that she kinda looks like she is playing dress up in this Vera Wang wedding dress. To be honest, I’m not feeling Hilary‘s hair in the coverphoto … I wanna see if it looks better in other photos. She looks fantastic tho, let’s send her and Mike another round of hearty congratulations on their happy nuptials :)

@Trent – I’m with you on her hair! Kinda Bride of Frankenstein-ish. I’m really unimpressed with her jewelry, too… I would have guessed Hilary would have chosen some pieces that were at least of comparable caliber to her Vera Wang gown. Bummer. But hey, it’s about the marriage and not the wedding, right??
She is so pretty sadly she didn’t look her best. Maybe because she’s tiny she’s trying to overcompensated her height, trust me I know how does it feel. Oh well she looks happy although I’d like Mike to be in the cover too
She looks pretty, but maybe we just need to see some other pics to get the full effect. The table setting/reception picture is lovely.

The hair was my first thought as well. She looks so pretty just on a ‘regular’ day. She didn’t look bad by any means, but i don’t think she looked her best.
