Yesterday was (finally) an absolutely BEAUTIFUL warm and sunny day here in LA so I had to get out of the house, open up all the windows and sunroof on my car and get out so that I could enjoy it. I’m telling you, LA has been cool and gloom for most of the Summer so it was a real relief to enjoy a traditionally beautiful Summer Sunday for once. As the sun began to set, Darion and I trekked down to Manhattan Beach so that we could hang out with Josh and Emma … and freeze with them in the colder temps. Actually, it wasn’t that cold but since Emma decided to let Darion wear Josh’s parka so that he could keep warm we decided to have fun with it:

We talked about going to see a movie but we ended up just eatin’ and drinkin’ together. It was really fun.

Today I begin to prepare for David’s and my upcoming trip to Hawaii. Our dear friends Marissa and Ryan are gettin’ MAUIed next weekend and we will be heading to the 50th State on Wednesday. I’m really excited for our trip … neither one of us have ever been to HI so we’re really looking forward to gettin’ leied. Happy Monday, y’all … and Happy 08.09.10 Day!
