On Wednesday we got to see a photo that Britney Spears shared on her official Twitter profile from her first day of filming on the set of Glee. Yesterday, Britney shared another photo from her second day of filming on Glee and this new photo shows just what she’s been up to on the set of the hit Fox TV series … behold:

AHHHHH!! I love this!! The photo we saw on Wednesday seemed to hint that Britney will play the teacher role in the Glee version of her Baby, One More Time music video. This photo is very clear that Britney will play the Madonna role in the Glee version of her Me Against the Music music video. Brilliant!! Ab-so-effing-lutely BRILLIANT! OMG … she looks so good. I am SO FREAKIN’ EXCITED to see this ep now! And I am SO loving all of these little photo teases/spoilers from the ep … it really looks like the Britney Spears ep of Glee will be even more amazing than the Madonna ep of Glee was. Woot!! Are these photos amazing or what?

I have never seen an episode of Glee but I will definitely be watching this one. I’m so excited and Britney looks amazing!
Eh. Glee was such a good idea at the beginning, but then they started basing the eps around the music and that’s just selling out to me.
They need to base the music around the eps.
And only have a few big name singers a season not one every ep.
@Ashely — First, they’ve only done one singular artist-centric episode … so this Britney ep will only be the second, that is hardly “every ep”. Second, it’s a TV show based on music — so how is it “selling out” to focus the eps on … music?

Britney will probably use the Madonna line “Heeey Britneeeey, you say you wanna lose controoool” from the Me Against the Music song…AND IT WORKS!!! Cuz Heather’s character is called Brittany!!!! HAHAHA, LOVE IIIIIIIT! WANNA SEE IT!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
On a sidenote…HOW THE HECK does Britney always pull it off? She looks just a liiiiiiiitlle chunky the day before and then BAM!, the next day she looks PERFECT. Does she not eat for that whole day or does she wake up and do her legendary 1000 sit ups?
I really hope its NOT the not eating cuz that can’t be healthy.
That is the smile I was longing for ! Our dear Britney’s back ! She’s found back that sparkle that’s been missing in her eyes ! Seems like she’s having a lot of fun shooting those eps.
I hope they’ll release the songs in a EP like they did for The Power of Madonna. And the one who got this idea of using Britney as Madonna and Brittany as Britney is a genius ! Can’t waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
Britney looks great. She seems to be enjoying herself. I was skeptical of this episode at first, but it seems to be shaping up pretty awesomely. I can’t wait to see it.
I love this! Britney is absolutely amazing. However, no one and I mean NO ONE should ever wear white pants.
@ CHASE, Madonna had on white pants in the “Me Against the music” video, which means Britney would have to wear them as well and the other Brittany is wearing the outfit Britney worn then.
Brittany is lookin damn fine in that black suit.

I have never watched this show but for Britney episode I will definitely watch it. I love Britney.

Aww Trent, don’t be so defensive! You don’t take well to people who don’t really “get” Britney, do you? LOL.
Haven’t they done two, though? Madonna and Lady Gaga? It just seems like at the beginning of the series, they had better plots with songs that related to the storyline. As the series went on though, it was like the songs defined the stories and it just didn’t flow the same to me.
@Ashley — I’m not being defensive, I’m merely trying to explain how I see the situation. There was no Lady Gaga episode, they did one song, if memory serves. This is only the second season, I think the show is still trying to figure out how to balance telling a story with featuring the songs they want to feature. I totally agree that if they keep doing artist-centric eps, it’ll get old very quickly … which is why I’m happy Britney’s ep will only be the 2nd one they do and the first one of the second season :D
Trent, what I think Ashley means is that Glee seems to know be creating character plots around the songs, instead of finding songs that fit the plot. I’ve been concerned about this as well, though I don’t have a problem with an artist-centric episode here and there.
