RadarOnline.com has these new pics of the chiseled 18-year-old heartthrob, who got his big break as Jacob Black in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, as he was snapped Thursday on the set of his upcoming film Abduction in Pennsylvania. Lautner recently said in an interview with NBC said that since Twilight, he’s been asked to lose his shirt in just about every film he appears in — even if it has nothing to do with the storyline! … Abduction, which hits theaters next year, is directed by John Singleton, and co-stars Maria Bello.
Yeah, I’ve got NO CLUE at all what this new movie is about … and to be totally frank, I don’t even care. They could call the film, 2 Hours of Taylor Lautner Shirtless and I’d be there to see it in theaters. In fact, they should name the film 2 Hours of Taylor Launter Shirtless because I guarantee if they did, it would do very very well at the box office. I hope Taylor doesn’t feel like he is being typecast because, to be honest, I’m actually going to expect that he lose his shirt in every single movie he appears in. It seems only fair, don’t it?

Poor kid. He worked (and continues to work) really hard to get those abs. I just wonder how bad he misses junk food.
He has a great bod and all, but to be honest, it’s getting a little…cliche. I mean, he’s pretty much playing Jacob Black but at the same time not playing Jacob Black but looking like Jacob Black while not being Jacob Back. Ya know? I believe he has the potential to be the biggest star out of the Twilight franchise because Rob and Kristen (I believe) won’t go really far in mainstream movies, but he has the potential and needs to look at his options very, very carefully.

I hope he can break out of these roles! I don’t really know what the movie is about, but he’s taking his shirt off.. again! (Not that I mind, but I kinda smell typecasting here) I hope he does well in the future, but I don’t see him going that far. The kinda far that Daniel Radcliffe will go.. y’know.. Never mind I don’t make sense :D

Oh…he looks too good. This really sounds like it could be a very entertaining movie. I will go and see it. For the record Taylor was always in good shape and had good abs…He just put on more weight to up the sexy factor and to make him look older for his part has JB in Twilight….YUM YUM
Think if I paid him enough money he’d keep his shirt ON?

I agree with the remark about Taylor always being in good shape- they just wanted him to be ‘bigger’ and ‘brawnier’ for the wolf role. He’s a 3 times gold medal winner in martial arts tournaments. He’s played and plays all sorts of sports.
and he’s only 18 years old. He still has a lot of growing to do. He still has that ‘young man’ look to him. When he grows into his true manhood- mid 20′s_ he’s going to be even hotter. He’s also very determined and goal oriented- he will grow into a better actor as he matures- for acting in the 3 Twilight films ,that will end the series, he’s guaranteed to make 25 million dollars minimum. So even if no one ever wanted to hire him or he never wanted to work again- he’d never have to. He’s the highest paid teenage actor ever. He deserves all the success- he’s worked hard for many years and has accomplished so much at just 18 years old.
