Yesterday we learned the happy news that singer Carrie Underwood and hockey player Mike Fisher got themselves hitched in Greensboro, GA over the weekend and today we get to see photos of the happy newlyweds as they made their way thru LAX Airport here in LA as they made their way to their honeymoon destination. A very happy Carrie seemed very shy about showing off her big wedding ring rock but she did flash it a few times:
No, we don’t know where the couple are headed for their honeymoon but the fact that they flew from Georgia to California on route should be a hint. It *looks* like they may be headed for Hawaii … but it’s just as likely that they are headed for New Zealand, Australia, Japan or any other destination in the area. Wherever they are headed, I hope the newlyweds have the time of their lives! These are the first days of their marriage … I sincerely hope they are full of love, fun and lots of baby-makin’ ;)

I live in Ottawa (Mike plays for the Senators) and ALL we’ve been hearing on the news/radio lately is updates about Mike and Carrie!
The rumour that we’ve been hearing is that Mike planned a surprise honeymoon to Tahiti/French Polynesia, but I guess we’ll have to wait for the inevitable pictures to find out where they ended up!

awwww I love them together! I’m a leafs fan so I’m obligated to hate Mike’s team (Ottawa), but mike is known as being one of the nicest guys in the league. Congrats to them both and I wish them nothing but happiness.
