Yesterday we got to see a few photos of actresses Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts on the Metro Detroit set of the upcoming sequel film Scream 4 and today we get to see a photo of lead actress Neve Campbell on set as well. The photos we saw yesterday were snapped in Dearborn, MI but today’s photo was snapped in Northville, MI. I mentioned yesterday that the Detroit Free Press reported over the weekend that Scream 4 filmed some scenes in an aptly named Northville bookstore called The Next Chapter … and today we learn that that is where Neve was spotted on set:

You may recall we got our first look at Neve on set last week but that photo was snapped in her trailer, not on the actual set. You can see in this photo she is filming a scene for the film. Additionally, there are other photos that have been snapped from the set that reveal a tiny spoiler from the film. New pictures from the set of “Scream 4″ have emerged, revealing detail about the character in the movie. Obtained by Before the Trailer, one of the photos features a poster mentioning that Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott will be an author in the upcoming film. On Tuesday, July 6, the actress was also spotted on the set with director Wes Craven. Filming her part in Northville, Campbell donned a short dress matched with black high heels. Courteney Cox who portrays Gale possibly joined the production that day as her chair was seen on the set. In addition to Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox, David Arquette will also return to “Scream 4″ to reprise his role of Dewey. Moreover, the film will see new cast members such as Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. Ehren Kruger was recently hired to polish the script written by Kevin Williamson, but details about the storyline have not been known yet.

Nice, I like the idea of Sidney being an author. It’s a development I hadn’t considered and yet seems like a perfect progression of the storyline. Neve and her new ‘do look much better in this photo than it did in that first photo we saw last week. I wonder what other secrets will be gleaned from the Michigan set of Scream 4 in the coming weeks. Honestly, I can’t wait to see more!
