Madonna Photographs Taylor Momsen For ‘Material Girl’
While Lourdes oversees all

We are just under a week away from the launch of Madonna‘s new juniors clothing line called Material Girl and already promo materials for the line featuring celebrity spokesmodel and Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen are popping up all over the place:

New behind-the-scenes photos and video from the ad campaign shoot have become available and show that Madonna and her daughter Lourdes Maria were very hands on during the shoot. Madonna actually got behind the camera to shoot some of the photos while Lola acted as shoot stylist. After the jump, check out some of these behind-the-scenes photos and check out some fun video …

Yes, Taylor Momsen is the PERFECT spokesmodel for this line of clothing. She seems to embody the girl that Madonna and Lola are trying to target with this new clothing line:

I really love that Maddy and Lola are working together so closely on this line. It’s so cute to see them as collaborators as well as mother and daughter. It remains to be seen if Material Girl will sell well to young girls who may not be as enamored of all things Madonna but having Taylor Momsen on board will prolly help in that department.

I used to really like Taylor, thought she was super adorable and fresh… until she made those absolutely ridiculous comments about Haiti… that she’s “not so much thinking about that” because she’s too busy… ugh. Get over yourself.
