On Monday we got our first taste of the BRAND NEW single from the new version of Ace of Base and today we get to hear the song All For You in full. As I mentioned before, I’m such a sucker for Ace of Base‘s music and — this new song is no exception, I’ve already listened to it about 10 times today:
The track has that same infectious vibe that can be expected from Ace of Base, which gives me hope that their new album will be just as good. All For You reminds me a lot of the Ace of Base song Beautiful Life, another one of my fave songs from the band. I’m not certain it’s a bad thing that the songs sound similar … alls I know is I love it. And so, without further ado, you can listen to All For You by Ace of Base, after the jump …

its sounds like Beautiful Life and the girls sing like the original ones so it’s hard not to compare and honestly…….nobody can’t replace lynne !! .
I kiiiiiiiiiiind of like it! I think it will stand out with the current music scene because everyone now is singing about getting pregnant, drugs, or getting loose at the club so this is a nice change. ; )
It is such a typical sing-a-long-while-taking-a-long-drive-in-the-car-song! This is going to make driving the fave activity of the summer! :D
I like it, but the original girls have better voices. Still, looking forward to the album, and I’ll probably download it. :D I love happy boppy music.

I’m a big big fan of “Ace of Base” but only with Jenny and lynn.
The song is not bad but it’s not Magical, like its supposed to be. I dont like that.. it’s like.. don’t get me wrong i love that type of music, i mean, That’s the type i’m doin,electro-pop dance music, but i think the hook is a rip off from “(relax) Take it easy” by Mika,compare both hooks and you’ll be like whoaaa! lol the same.
Sorry, it’s a fail for Ace of Base. The guys are very talended when it’s time to create excellent pop hooks, normally, but his time? nope. it’s not bad but it’s not “it”.
And ,again, i think when 2 out of the 4 member from a group switch the light off,the group is dead,Do something ok, but, with another name/project.Just sayin.
Hopefully,The album will be better.

As a fan from the start, the legend that was Ace of Base made heat waves in the 90’s like a fire fed by pure oxygen. With sisters Linn and Jenny, they brought a level of emotion when they sung that was simply real and magical. It was the oxygen that fed the fire. They etched moments in 90’s history that will forever be remembered. Ace of Base will forever be identified by Ulf, Jonas, Linn and Jenny.
The new single and band line up leaves much to be desired. The vocals are weak and bland which is cemented by the fact that the track sounds over produced, and heavily edited. It embodies an element like any flash in the pan dance act of today. It has no substance and mirrors what Cascada could do with very little effort.
EPIC FAIL.
Having new faces in the lineup and still carrying the name Ace of Base is insulting. If they would have given the new band a new name I would have more respect for them.
The legend that was Ace of Base will never be matched because good music never dies. Forever the memories…

Didnt want to say it – thouhgt of keeping it to myself … but… after 5 years of silence and spending it in the studio, the new album is a total disaster – i guess it’s like an Oklahoma banjoe with an electro-pop twists in some songs. As a manager of an international Ace of Base pop club and a person whose life this band changed forever – in many respects – i would say it’s bad, really bad. There 2 two tracks on the album that sound nice and listenable – All for U and Golden ration – the rest is like the worst songs of Yaki-Da. Sincerely, my anticipation, as well, as thousands of fans (and i speak for Russia, Ukraine, Poland, China and Thailand) were overdone like the songs on the album – they are just stifling and overproduced. What was kept in 5 years was jammed in them – besides majority of songs wouldnt even enter their 90′s albums – who made the decision to release things like Doreen or My Mom… I think that person should not have the job anymore.
As much as i liked Ace of Base – it would stay in mymemory as the band that helped me to achieve what i have now in my life – the current submission is a fiasco. I agree with the comments of Moncklchl. Bad insult :-)
