Debho, I don’t think it is a mistake for the President to go on the View. They probably have a lot of viewers who never get to hear him speak without it being put through the distorted editing of some news channels.

I think it’s a mistake because he’ll be forced to sit there with those clueless women who will try and come up with intelligent questions, which in the end make them look more stupid. Elisabeth will try and bait him because she’s a Republican (right?), Whoopie will sit and kiss his arse and make out like they’re best mates, Joy will crack a few insipid jokes and start spouting her opinion which no one really gives a crap about. I used to like this show, but it just got less credible over time. All it needs is for infomercials for magnetic wool blankets and life insurance stuffed between the segments and you have bullshit daytime TV (like we have in Australia) that they think women are interested in.

I wish everyone would just leave Shiloh alone. She’s obviously happy. I dressed like a tomboy and wanted to be a boy when I was little… and I’m the biggest girly girl now. She’ll either grow out of it or she won’t and either way it’s fine. They’re doing her no harm.
Is it really that hard to find 5 intelligent, interesting women for The View? I’m so embarrassed that I can’t even watch that show anymore. It was waaay better when Meridith (sp?), Star and that Asian chick were on.
