Over the weekend we got to see actors Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong and Peter Sarsgaard on stage at the Green Lantern discussion panel at 2010 San Diego Comic-Con. Today we get to see this fantastic four in a new set of movie promo posters that have just been released to promote Green Lantern. Here are the posters for the GL characters Hal Jordan/Green Lantern (Reynolds) and Carol Ferris (Lively):

Now, these posters are cool because they feature the superhero star and his feisty love interest girlfriend … but it’s the posters of the villains Sinestro (Strong) and Dr. Hector Hammond (Sarsgaard) that are even cooler! In May we got a tease at what Sarsgaard will look like in costume as Hector Hammond but this new batch of posters gives us our FIRST LOOK at what Strong will look like as the sinister supervillain Sinestro. Check out the posters for Sinestro and Hammond, after the jump …

Yes, these posters only give us a taste of what’s to come but still … a taste is a taste. I doubt the promo stuff for Green Lantern will keep coming as frequently in the coming months as they have been in recent weeks but I’m loving every bit of it. These posters are cool, yes? I can’t wait to see more.

Damn……Hurry up 2011.
Dang, Peter Sarsgaard will haunt me in my dreams when he’s looking like that!
Let those who worship evil’s might, beware my power, Green Lantern’s Light!
is it just me or does these posters look like the the 5 gum packaging…. http://www.rickthompsondesign......review.jpg
I just came to say the same thing ! All I could think of when I saw this was, “I could go for a piece of gum”.
my boyfriend keeps threatening to propose to me with a Green Lantern ring, I dread to think how excited he’s going to get about this film. I think I shall probably be dragged to it.
@Aislin — OMG, that’s kinda cute ;)
Cute and geeky, I’d probably still say yes but I hope he’s not seriously considering it.
Ryan Reynolds is way too cute. I can stare at his face forever…. although it’s hard for me to take him seriously because he seems to always have a slight mischievous smirk on his face.
