Just a little over a week ago we got our very first look at Dannii Minogue and babydaddy Kris Smith‘s newborn baby boy Ethan Edward … today we get to check out a new pic of the little lad as shared by his father on his official Twitter account. Additionally, Dannii has already recovered enough so that she can take her precious baby boy out and about in public. Here are photos of the proud parents enjoying some time outside of the home for the first time since the birth of their baby boy:

New mother Dannii Minogue ventured out for her first family day out with newborn son Ethan in Australia yesterday. Together with her partner Kris Smith, the couple shopped up a storm at a Melbourne branch of Mothercare so the 13-day-old tot could look super trendy in preparation to meet his Auntie Kylie. Dannii’s older sister Kylie touched down at Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport at 5am on Monday morning and looked excited to be meeting her new nephew. Proud dad Smith, 32, posted an adorable photo of baby Ethan sleeping peacefully in his pram, as well as another image of smiling Dannii with his pram in Mothercare. Writing on his Twitter, former rugby league player Smith enthused: ‘First day out for the whole family, Dannii running up a storm in Mothercare. / Sleeping peacefully, Ethan was amazing as always today… Such a good boy just like his dad ;-).’ When asked by a Twitter follower if she had bought the whole baby section in Mothercare, Dannii replied: ‘We both went nuts.’ The former Home & Away star, 38, also proclaimed she had ‘of course’ bought baby-sized UGGs boots for her son to wear, as it is currently winter in Australia. Kylie, 42, looked chirpy as she arrived in Melbourne at 5am local time this morning, despite her long-haul flight. She wrote on her Twitter: ‘Whooooppp…I am H*O*M*E in Australia!!!!!!! :)’ The former Neighbours star missed out on Ethan’s birth because she was promoting her new album Aphrodite, which went to number one in the UK album charts. But she celebrated the new addition to the Minogue family, writing on her Twitter page: ‘Congratulations to my little sister, Dannii and Kris on their beautiful baby boy, Ethan. He is gorgeous.’

Awww … you can tell that this newly expanded family is just over the moon with happiness. I couldn’t be more thrilled for Dannii and Kris. Look at this wee little man! He is just the most precious little thing. I kinda love the dope Ralph Lauren knit cap, don’t you? It really seems like Dannii and Kris are planning to share their new life as parents with all their followers on Twitter, so I’m excited to see more. It’s actually very refreshing to see a couple of celebrity parents sharing photos of their baby like normal people rather than selling the photos for publication in a magazine, don’tcha think?
