Back in April we learned the fairly surprising news that newly divorced popstar Avril Lavigne had coupled up with playboy partyboy Brody Jenner. In June the couple decided to stop hiding their lurve under a bushel and went public on the beaches of Costa Rica. Today we see photos of the pair together a little closer to home … and proudly showing off their new tattoos! That’s right, folks … Avril got Brody‘s name seemingly tattooed on her ribs and Brody got Avril‘s name (with a star) seemingly tattooed on his arm:

I say “seemingly” because we don’t know for sure if these are actual tattoos or just pen doodles … but the placement of Avril‘s ink of Brody‘s name seems pretty telling that she got an actual tattoo (whereas girls who doodle guy’s names on their bodies usually do so on their knees, hands or tennis shoes). I cannot believe that Bravril would actually decide to tattoo each other’s names on their bodies but, then again, there’s a lot about these two that I cannot believe:

I think it’s pretty common knowledge that tattooing a boyfriend/girlfriend’s name on your body is the absolute kiss of death for the relationship … but, who knows, maybe Bravil‘s love will be the exception. Personally, I doubt it but … I guess time will tell. So … what do y’all think? Is tattooing a loved one’s name on your body a good idea or not?
