Yesterday was Tracey’s last full day here in SoCal and after we spent the whole afternoon hanging out and enjoying the sun (which finally came out after hiding behind the clouds for the last week) we decided to venture out for a sushi dinner at Fat Fish before going to The Grove to see Despicable Me. I’ve been dying to see this movie for weeks now and, if you can believe it, Tracey has never seen a 3D movie before so … away we went:

While I still contend that Toy Story 3 is the best animated film released this year, Despicable Me is also very, very good. The whole story is really cute and the ending is super sweet … it’s really one of those movies that the whole family can enjoy. I will say that I didn’t really care for Steve Carell‘s supervillain accent in the film but once I got used to it it didn’t really bother me so much. I love the 3 little girl characters in the film … Agnes has to be one of the cutest little animated characters around. She really made me want to have a unicorn of my own … one that is really FLUFFFFFFFFFY! We all enjoyed the film, Tracey was blown away by the 3D effects … a great time was had by all.

Last week we got to see a very fun, very inventive 3D motion poster for the upcoming 7th SAW film titled SAW 3D. As you may recall, we also learned last week that SAW 3D will be the final installment of the SAW movie franchise … but it was the motion poster that really caught my eye. Today we get to see another motion poster for SAW 3D … this one professes to be mind-blowing:

Tobin Bell is back (somehow) in Saw 3D, and this exclusive first look at the groovy motion poster is here to prepare us to have our minds blows. At San Diego Comic-Con we reported how the Saw franchise was dubbed the “most successful horror franchise” by the Guinness Book of World Records. This proves we’re not the only ones who equate the onset of Autumn’s cool breeze with changing leaves, pumpkin pie and the diobolical traps laid out for (mostly) deserving victims of the Saw films. All good things must come to an end, however, and the Saw films intend to go out with not only a bang, but a trans-planar leap into three dimensional space … Saw 3D is out in theaters on October 29.

Earlier this month we learned that Britney Spears, goddess among humans, is releasing a 9th celebrity fragrance called Radiance and altho we got to see what the garish opulent bottle looks like, we were not yet able to see what the actual promo images for the fragrance will look like. Britney updated her official Facebook page last night and posted our first look at the promo image for Radiance by Britney Spears:

Flawless, just flawless. So many people like to pick apart our dear Britney when she ventures out in public looking … well … less than flawless … but it’s images like this that remind us that homegirl looks fantastic when she pulls herself together. I’m hoping this new fragrance is only the latest of many new things to come from Britney this year. We know that her first ever clothing line, Britney for Candie’s, will also be released this Fall but … I’m hoping we’ll be hearing about a new album soon. As of yet, tho, there has been no official word that one is imminent. I’m just content knowing that Britney is keeping bizzy with new projects … she looks so damn good in this new promo ad. I hope we get to see more … and soon!

True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgård has been chosen as the new celebrity spokesmodel for the Hickey Freeman suit company and is featured in a new ad campaign that was photographed by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. Founded in 1899 in Rochester, NY, Hickey Freeman is traditionally known for their line of businessman and banker suits … but with this new ad campaign, the company is trying to youthen up its image to attract new customers. Here is our first look at one of the new campaign photos for Hickey Freeman‘s new line:

I can’t think of a better spokesmodel to liven up Hickey Freeman‘s image than Alexander Skarsgård. He has a very classic look that is fresh and new and yet traditionally handsome. Because he is one of the stars of the very racy True Blood, he brings an unstated appeal to the ad campaign even tho his sexiness is not on display in any of the campaign photos. It’s brilliant.
