Last month we learned that 80′s popstars Tiffany and Debbie Gibson (now Deborah Gibson) would be going head to head in a battle for supremacy in the upcoming SyFy original movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. Today we get our first look at the ladies battling one another in a new clip released from the upcoming SyFy film:

As they take their pent-up, top of the 80s pop chart battle to hand-to-hand combat in this clip from the upcoming Syfy film “MEGA PYTHON VS. GATOROID.” They rage against each other, just like Andie rages against judgmental yuppies in “16 candles.” They try to defeat each other, just like Gary and Wyatt try to defeat their unpopularity and lack of girls in “Weird Science.” They battle, just like Alexis and Krystle battle from “Dynasty” battle in living rooms, in art studios, in bedrooms, on hillsides, in lily ponds….

I mean, I guess it was bound to happen. Tiffany and Debbie were the 80′s version of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Who knows, maybe in 20 years Britney and Xtina will be battling one another in Mega Python vs. Gatoroid 2 … look, it could happen! Daniel Radcliffe, the boy who lived, celebrated his 21st birthday in fine boozy fashion on Friday night with a group of his best mates and LOTS of free-flowing alcohol … which is pretty much the way that most 21 year olds celebrate their bdays. The hunky Harry Potter star turns 21 today (July 23) and will be joined by his friends and family to celebrate his big day in style. “Daniel has a big party planned,” a source said. “And he plans to drink his favorit tequila — and lots of it!”

Yes, from the looks of these photos it looks like this report turned out to be very true … Danny boy looks complete knackered! I love it! I know his birthday was a few days ago but let’s send our belated Birthday Lurve to Mr. Radcliffe. Now that he’s a full-grown man, it’s time for the real fun to begin :D

Here is our semi-daily update from the Michigan set of Scream 4 … this time around we get to check out a few photos of director Wes Craven posing for a few photos with his principal Scream castmembers Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox-Arquette and David Arquette:

I have a sneaking suspicion that filming in Michigan for Scream 4 might be winding down a bit. I’m guessing the cast must be near completion of filming all of the outdoor scenes for the film, which means that they will move back to LA or wherever to film the bulk of the film’s scenes on set. The Scream production prolly won’t be rolling out of town today or anything but my guess is that they will be soon. I’m gonna miss all these Scream 4 updates, tho. It’s always a treat to see photos from the Michigan set of Scream 4.

Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan were spotted all hot and heavy on the set of the music video for Eminem‘s new single Love The Way You Lie. As you may know, Lie is the #1 song in the country right now and it features Rihanna on guest vocals. Here are pics of Megan and Dom steaming up the music video set over the weekend:

Joseph Kahn took to his Twitter account over the weekend to announce that he had finished his video for Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie,” but he neglected to mention the bigger news about the video. It was up to an enterprising photographer to confirm the rumored appearance of Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan in the clip. Photos taken on Friday … show the actors shooting a scene and sharing a drink on the roof of a liquor store in downtown Los Angeles. In the pics, Fox and Monaghan can be seen sitting in a pair of lawn chairs, laughing and kissing. Monaghan’s character, who is dressed in a ratty army jacket, is clutching a bottle of vodka, while Fox’s character wears a short skirt and black combat boots … According to Kahn, the “Love the Way You Lie” video will premiere sometime this week. It’s perfect timing, especially considering that the song currently holds the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart (ending the six-week reign of Katy Perry’s “California Gurls”), and that, for the fourth consecutive week, Em’s Recovery album sits at #1 on the Top 200.

Hot! These two make a great couple … I can deffo feel the chemistry. It’s funny to see Megan kissing up on a guy so soon after her wedding to new husband Brian Austin Green but business is business, I suppose. I love Love The Way You Lie, I cannot wait to see the finished music video product. Do these two look hot or what?

British boyband McFly are featured on the cover and in the pages of the gay UK magazine Attitude. Now, to my knowledge, none of the boys in McFly are gay but they do seem to be very fond of catering to their gay fans by appearing in gay publications as if it were no big thing. Here is McFly‘s hot new coverphoto for Attitude magazine:

I am really impressed that the boys in McFly are so at ease with themselves that they have no qualms at all about posing in a magazine like Attitude. When some celebs would shy away completely from having any association with gay publications, McFly are happy to do whatever they can for their adoring fans. As I mentioned earlier, I saw Angelina Jolie‘s new film Salt last night with a group of friends and the general consensus was that we all loved it:

For me, the film felt a bit like the Jason Bourne films — which I love — but with a kick-ass female lead. It’s about damn time Hollywood made a film franchise around a female spy who can kick all kinds of ass. I’m certain that Salt will become a very successful franchise of films. This first one was chock full of great surprises and LOTS of action scenes … plus the ending was left wide open for, hopefully, an entire series of films. The only thing I didn’t like about the film was how skinny Angelina Jolie was. I did not believe she could do all of the stuff she does in the film with such a frail-looking body. I think she needs to bulk up a bit to make her action-star role work better in a more believable way. BUT, the film is just so fun … you kinda get lost in all the action. There are so many great scenes, I deffo want to see it again.

One more thing, I wanted to give some love to Amanda Palmer who just last week released a new EP titled Amanda Palmer Performs The Popular Hits of Radiohead on Her Magical Ukulele on which, you guessed, it she performs the hits of Radiohead on her ukulele:

I’ve been kinda obsessed with this EP ever since I downloaded it from her official site last week and I’m tellin’ ya, you gotta check it out. Insanely enough, she is only charging $0.84 for the 7-track EP but I suggest y’all pay a bit more for it … it’s really worth it. Disney screened a 7-minute clip from their upcoming new sequel film Tron: Legacy, which is the follow-up film to the 1982 film Tron, this weekend at 2010 San Diego Comic-Con. An industrious attendee at Comic-Con attendee managed to video the footage so that it could be shared with the world online:

The attendees of “Tron Legacy” panel at San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, July 22 were treated with a long clip in addition to a new trailer. A fan apparently taped the clip while it was screened during the presentation and has shared the bootleg version via internet. It opens with Sam Flynn who finds himself captured by some men in uniforms in cyber universe. He enters a place where some women dress him with a new suit. He is later sent to join a gladiatorial game where he has to try to survive. The more-than-seven-minute clip then shows quick shots of light cycles and the battles. “Tron Legacy” will center its story on Sam Flynn who investigates the disappearance of his father Kevin. As he manages to find his father in the world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years, Sam now has to join forces with Kevin and Kevin’s loyal confidant on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous. Garrett Hedlund plays Sam with Jeff Bridges reprising his role as Kevin. Olivia Wilde joins the cast as Quorra while Michael Sheen will be seen playing Caster once again. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the upcoming action sci-fi which will serve as a sequel to 1982 “Tron” is due for U.S. release on December 17.

I’m pretty sure that Tron: Legacy is either completely finished or very near complete … the film opens in just a few short months. Unlike many of the other films previewed this weekend, Tron has a lot of footage that it could share with fans (hence the 7 minute clip). Ryan Murphy and some castmembers from Glee made an appearance at 2010 San Diego Comic-Con yesterday so that they could meet with fans and talk a bit about plans for the upcoming second season of the show. As you should already be well aware, the second episode of the second season will be an ep devoted to the music of Britney Spears. It was revealed that the episode will be titled Britney/Brittany and will feature 6 songs … one that will be sung by Britney herself! Another big announcement at Comic-Con yesterday was that the show will be doing a Rocky Horror Picture Show episode … which should thrill some fans and enrage others:

The “Glee” writers are planning a “Rocky Horror Picture Show” episode, series co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed at Comic-Con. After the show’s Emmy nominated actor Chris Colfer mentioned he wanted to do “The Time Warp” in the new season, Murphy said that he and the writers were working on it. More Season 2 story lines were revealed after a 20-minute highlight reel was shown, including more focus on the series’ central characters. “The next season will be more intimate,” Murphy said. “Those characters pop so much that I want to see a whole episode of Brittany, a whole episode of Artie and Tina,” Murphy said early in the session, adding that there will be more tribute episodes. When discussing the highly publicized Britney Spears episode, Murphy said that Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester character would be highly against doing Britney songs because Morrison said once that he didn’t want to sing her tunes on the show. “We’re doing it in a fun, hallucinogenic way,” Murphy teased. Another spoiler got the crowd and panelists going: “We find out that Tina has fallen out of love with Artie and in love with Mike Chang (a.k.a. Other Asian),” Murphy said. Season 2 will also see Mercedes at her church (a solo is almost guaranteed), and Kurt will be attending as well in a religion-themed hour. In addition to Kristin Chenoweth returning, Broadway vet Idina Menzel will be coming back. Plans for the post-Super Bowl episode are in the works, but Murphy promised something big. “Nothing says Super Bowl like ‘Glee,’” he joked. “We’re in talks to do a huge tribute episode, but the deal hasn’t closed yet so I can’t say.” Playing to the crowd, it was revealed that the writers are discussing a Brittany and Santana kiss. Murphy got an idea from a fan, who suggested the gang spotlight a classic musical. “I can see Artie busting out some ‘Guys and Dolls,’” he said.

All of this sounds great … except for the Rocky Horror bit. I just really hate Rocky Horror so I have no interest in seeing a Glee version of it. At this point, tho, Glee is popular enough to do pretty much anything it wants to do … I’m sure this is just the tip of the ice berg as to what Glee has in store for season 2 and beyond. To be honest, I can’t get past the Britney Spears episode … I’m just glad it’s coming out early in the season. Once that ep airs, I can focus on the rest of the season. I’m excited … Glee season 1 was pretty damn good, let’s hope season 2 is even better.
