Nathan Fillion, who starred in the final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as the Firefly series and movie AND opposite Neil Patrick Harris in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog, posted a photo on his official Twitter profile that was accompanied with the caption “Together Again”. The photo featured Firefly colleagues and BFFs Joss Whedon (Master of the Universe), Adam Baldwin (Firefly), and Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Dollhouse) hanging out together (as they gazed upwards at … something), which immediately set fans’ tongues wagging that the men might be working on a new project togehter:

Nathan Fillion posted a new picture today that shows him hanging out with Firefly alums Joss Whedon, Adam Baldwin, and Alan Tudyk, giving us only the clue “together again” to go by. They’re mysteriously clinging to a tree and looking up at the sky, but for what? Is this some new Firefly project? A precursor to the next installment of Dr. Horrible? Or are they just at Nathan’s house watching fireworks over the weekend? Fillion is being madly mysterious about the whole thing, which may or may not be his intent. If it is, well played sir. If it isn’t, just tell us what this is all about!

Now, I’m not getting my hopes up that there is a new project in the works. It seems more likely that the guys were hanging out under the fireworks on the 4th of July and Nathan just got around to sharing. Still, it is great seeing them all together again … ain’t it?

Drew Barrymore, who was rumored to be engaged to off-again on-again beau Justin Long but has since broken up with, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Elle magazine. In her coverstory interview, Drew reveals that altho she has yet found the need to go under the knife, she is not opposed to the idea of plastic surgery. Here is our first look at Drew’s new Elle cover and some excerpts from her coverstory interview:

On taking stock of where she is now: “For three years straight, I’ve been burning the candle at both ends, and as of last December, I just didn’t have anything left. I’ve been so aggressive about living life to the fullest and being plugged into everything, but now I’ve ripped the plug out of the wall and put it on the floor for a while. I’m thinking about the same things as when I was 15, about spirituality and who I am, who I want to be. It’s cocoon, pupa, larva, and fuck, I’m reborn!”

On the media’s misconceptions of her: “I make movies. I have a passion. Puppies and daisies don’t accomplish anything. That’s not me at all.”

On being single: “If you’re 35 and single and it’s a choice, it feels fine. So I didn’t settle with the wrong person yet. Big deal!”

On her upcoming role in Going the Distance: “I like that it’s not a traditional romantic comedy, with the story line of, ‘Oh, I slept with this guy, but when I woke up, I found out he’s the CEO of my company, and we’re going to live happily ever after once we go through all these crazy perils. I talk shit with my girlfriends. And it can get dirty.”

On why she’s not afraid to get older: “I don’t want to be vain or fearful, and I don’t think I’ll do anything [in terms of plastic surgery], but if I want to do something, I will. From my perspective, there’s no reason to be afraid of aging, because if you age, you’re lucky! The alternative is death.”

On child stardom: “I was raised in unique and trying environments, but they were also amazing platforms for me to have an extraordinary life. Going through hell as a kid made me sensitive to what others in this world go through too.”

I love that Drew keeps it real. While I am bummed that she and Justin are off-again, there’s always the chance for them to get back together. And she is right, being 35 and single is completely normal. I have every confidence that she will find the right guy … when the right guy comes along. Thus far this week, we’ve seen photos of Gossip Girl castmembers Blake Lively and Leighton Meester filming new scenes together for the upcoming 4th season their show as well as photos of Ed Westwick and French actress (and Harry Potter alum) Clémence Poesy doing the same. Today we check in the GG production to see new photos of Blake and Leighton taking a break from filming to give a huge BON JOUR! to the Parisian fans who came out to say hello:

The ladies were filming at the Musee Baccarat and decided to spend some time givin’ some love to the fans below their balcony. Elsewhere, the ladies filmed a scene at a local eatery where they shared more than just a meal together. Check out those photos after the jump …

Earlier this week we learned that newish lovebirds Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner decided to doom their fledgling relationship by getting their names tattooed on one another. In those photos, we didn’t get a really good look at Brody‘s “Avril” tattoo … so today we get to see new photos of the couple out on the town here in LA last night that plainly show Brody‘s tragic new ink:

To be honest, it still looks like Avril‘s name is written on his arm in pen … but unless Brody hasn’t showered in the past few days, I’m now pretty sure that it’s a genuine he-is-really-gonna-regret-it-one-day tattoo. Avril‘s tattoo of Brody‘s name is written on her ribs just under her right breast … she’s luckily able to hide it better than Brody can. I personally feel these tattoos are the worst idea ever but … I guess only Bravil knows what’s good for Bravil.

And the hits just keep on coming for troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan … TMZ is reporting that her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley (the very woman who unsuccessfully tried to keep her client from getting slapped with a jail sentence earlier this week) has decided to drop out and quit as Lindsay‘s lawyer:

TMZ has learned … Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has resigned as LiLo’s lawyer. TMZ called Holley for comment on a story we’re working on, and she informed us she is no longer repping Lindsay. Sources tell us Holley resigned earlier today. As for who Lindsay will be hiring … we’re told she’s a brand new lawyer, Tiffany Feder-Cohen, who was just admitted to the bar in November.

Lord, it can’t be easy being Lindsay‘s lawyer … I mean, I bet it’s really difficult trying to convince people of her innocence. Very obviously, Holley simply wasn’t up for the task so she decided to cut her losses and run like hell. TMZ is also reporting that Lindsay has vowed that she will “not go to jail” and is planning to file an appeal of Judge Revel‘s 90 day jail sentence ruling. It is believed that that futile course of action may have been the final straw that led to Shawn Chapman Holley‘s decision to quit defending Lindsay. I guess we’ll just have to watch and see what happens next. What do y’all think of Holley’s decision to quit? Is she smart for gettin’ out while she can?

Ever since the new TV series Pretty Little Liars debuted on ABC Family a couple of months ago, I’ve been faithfully DVRing every single ep … I just never got around to watching the show. To be completely honest, the only reason I even got interested in the show was becuase Charmed star Holly Marie Combs was cast as a character on the show (as the mother of one of the pretty little liars). Yesterday, I found myself with some time and ended up watching the pilot episode … and then every new ep that was recorded on my DVR in full:

To be honest, I really enjoyed the eps I’ve seen thus far. The premise is interesting — a group of girls try desperate to keep their secrets from coming out as an unknown person tries to drag those secrets out in the open — and well executed. I credit the fact that the TV series is based on a book series for why the plotlines have been fleshing out so well … thus far. I love the entire cast but am particularly impressed with Laura Leighton (ex-Melrose Place). There is something about her character that I am really drawn to … and Laura plays her perfectly. By the time I finished watching all 5 hour-long eps, I was actually hungry for more. I’m not sure if any of y’all watch the show (which airs on ABC Family Tuesdays at 8) but if so, tell me what you think? IMHO, Pretty Little Liars is a perfect Summer series to get wrapped up in … thus far, it’s got me hooked.

Tonight, David and I are planning to attend the opening night gala event for Outfest here in LA. The new James Franco film Howl is debuting so I’m really excited to see it! I believe Mr. Franco might be in the hiz so … maybe I’ll have something fun to share tomorrow ;)

Thus far we’ve seen photos from the Michigan set of Scream 4 of franchise newcomers Hayden Panettiere & Emma Roberts as well as main protagonist star Neve Campbell. Today we get to see photos of Scream alums Courteney Cox-Arquette and David Arquette on set along with other newcomers Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Anthony Anderson hard at work on the upcoming sequel film … behold:

The major stars of the original Scream trilogy have reunited, along with director Wes Craven, to film the fourth movie in the series. Real life husband and wife Courteney Cox and David Arquette were spotted on set yesterday along with Neve Campbell and cast newcomers Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Anthony Anderson. Julia Roberts’ niece, Emma, Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin are also set to appear in the film. The first three Scream movies were smash hits, revitalising the slasher film genre in the mid 1990s and spawning a slew of imitators. The original was one of the highest grossing films of the year when it was released in 1996 and has taken in an impressive £114million worldwide. The movies were inspired by the Halloween film series and the Gainseville Ripper murders of 1990. In Scream 4, Cox revives her role of intrepid reporter Gale Weathers, Arquette plays her on screen love, cop Dewey Riley again and Campbell reprises the part of Sidney Prescott, the girl terrorised by a serial killer in a mask. Scream was originally intended as a trilogy, but after ten years producer Bob Weinstein decided it was time for another movie. It is intended to be a ‘reboot’ of the series and the first of a new trilogy … The latest instalment is set in real time, ten years after the last, and centers around Sidney Prescott, who has finally put herself back together following the horrors of her past, before she is visited once again by the Ghostface killer. The movie promises the same tongue-in-cheek approach as the past three and Wes Craven raved: ‘Kevin [Williamson] is right on game with his new script – the characters and story crackle with energy and originality – to say nothing of some of the most hair-raising scares I’ve seen in a script since….well, since the original Scream series.’ Filming started June 28th and release is scheduled for April 2011.

OMG, I’ve been loving all of the photos from the Michigan set of Scream 4 but these have to be my faves. It is so great seeing the gang all together … it’s also cool to see the new characters as well. I’ve missed seeing Adam Brody in, well, anything good so he is a sight for sore eyes. I have no doubt that this new Scream film will be good … I just know it’s gonna rule! The first 3 films are among my fave scary films of all time and I am very much looking forward to adding #4 to that list. Isn’t it great to see the gang together again?

Hot! Zoe looks amazing … I think she is the perfect lady to represent CK Underwear. I absolutely love that Calvin Klein decided to follow up Eva Mendes with Zoe Saldana as the face and body of CK lingerie. Back to back spokesmodels of color says a lot about the company’s view on diversity. I think it says even more about its views on beauty. This ad is really sexy, I can’t wait to see more.

When last we saw Robert Pattinson he had skipped out on the London premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse because he was bizzy lookin’ about as slick as can be in a stylish tuxedo on the SoCal set of his new film Water for Elephants. Today we get to see a couple new photos of Rob on set but this time he’s back in his scruffier-looking costume filming new scenes with a really adorable co-star:

So I guess, while Rob is running around getting water for elephants, he has to do so with cute pet pooch in tow? Those of you who have read the book might recognize the scene that Rob is filming … I’ve not read the book so I have no idea. Robbie and the pooch look awfully cute together, tho it really looks like Rob is doing more hard work than the doggie is ;)
