Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 2) may have wrapped earlier this month but the promo machine for the release of part 1 of the film is just about to get underway. Here is our first look at a few new promo photos from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 1) which is due to hit theaters at the end of this year:

The first full trailer for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is yet to hit the web until June 28 at 4 P.M. PST but some shots from the video have been available for sneak peek. USA Today has got its hand on several photos from the upcoming trailer and they reveal that the video will give preview to some of the crucial moments. Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort’s intense meeting is highlighted in two images. One of them captures their close-up looks, while the other one is taken from a long range and sees the scene set in Hogwarts courtyard. In another photo, Harry is featured alongside Hagrid while the young wizard is seen lying in the woods in another picture. Other characters, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and Death Eaters, are also given spotlights in some other images. The rest of the photos, meanwhile, manage to give a look at a blind dragon in Gringotts Bank and fiery explosions around Hogwarts castle. In this last of “Harry Potter” film franchise, Harry Potter and his two best friends will leave Hogwarts behind and set out to find and destroy the Horcruxes – the secret to Voldemort’s power and immortality. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are all returning to reprise their roles as the three main characters. Directed by David Yates, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is split into two parts, which both will get 3-D treatment. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” is due for November 19 release in both U.S. and U.K., whereas “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” is slated to be premiered on July 15, 2011.

As you may recall, we got to see the first trailer for Deathly Hallows last December but that one was really just a teaser. The first real movie trailer will be released later today and we will then get to see these promo photos in action. I am so excited for the release of this film but we still have many months to wait … so … yeah, I can’t get too excited. Even still, I am anxious to see the trailer. It shant be long now.

Last week we learned the happy news that longtime lovebirds Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom got themselves engaged to be wed and today we get to see photos of the bride-to-be showing off her new engagement bling as she ran some errands with her mom over the weekend … check it out:

She has just got engaged to one of Hollywood’s hottest young actors. So it is no wonder Miranda Kerr was determined to show off her diamond sparkler as she visited churches in Los Angeles with her mother ahead of her wedding to Orlando Bloom. The 27-year-old lingerie model continuously flashed her new accessory as she arrived at a church with mother Therese and dog Frankie. Wearing a colourful maxi dress under a denim jacket, Miranda made sure she inspected all angles of the place of worship – prompting rumours it could be where she and Orlando choose to wed. The couple are both practising Buddhists, but may be planning to wed in a church service for their parents. Bloom was brought up as Church of England, but turned to Buddhism in his Twenties, while Kerr started practising the religion when she turned 20. She told Rolling Stone magazine last year that Buddhism has brought them closer together: ‘We share the same outlook. It brings us closer and closer together.’ The pair, who quietly started dating in 2007, confirmed their engagement earlier this month.

Rockin’ the ring, scopin’ out churches … it looks like Miranda and Orlando are really ready to tie the knot. I wouldn’t be surprised if they said their I Dos by year’s end. Ugh … they’re just so perfect for one another, couldn’t you just puke on your shoes?

Lindsay Lohan spent another weekend here in SoCal making her way around the various clubs and events (she was spotted at the EDC Rave Dance Party in Downtown Los Angeles last night) while rumors began to swirl that her mother Dina Lohan has signed a new deal for a new reality TV show about the Lohan family (well, sans estranged daddy Michael Lohan). Here are photos of Lindsay making her way home from the EDC Rave Dance Party this weekend and some deets about the rumored new Lohan reality TV series:

Lindsay Lohan will appear in a new reality show that will follow her mom, Dina, and her siblings. Dina told us, “We have already started filming. The cameras follow us in our daily lives and as we promote our businesses. I want to prove that we are a good, hardworking family and we don’t have the crazy lives that some people claim we do. The show will feature my kids, and Lindsay will also appear in some episodes, although she’s very busy filming and promoting her fashion lines. We’re discussing a deal with a major network.” But dad Michael isn’t welcome, Dina said.

UGH! Is there NOTHING that Dina Lohan won’t do to win fame and fortune by exploiting her children? I, personally, do not understand why the Lohans are so delusional as to think they are worth watching on TV but my fear is that they will do anything to get the attention they crave … at any cost. It’s clear that Lindsay has been damaged (evident from the court-ordered SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet on her left ankle) by the life she has endured after being raised by her parents … I fear what the future holds for the other Lohan children. Aliana Ali Lohan seems on the same course that Lindsay is on (but with out that pesky fame to worry about) but the littlest Lohan, Cody, is still young enough to be saved. Can anyone save him? Blah … here’s hoping that all of those “major networks” that Dina is trying to sell her show to will pass on her offer. I’d take 10,000 more Jersey Shores rather than having to endure Dina Lohan on my TV.

Nancy O’Dell, correspondent for Access Hollywood, made her way to the Michigan set of Scream 4 (which goes into filming production today in the Ann Arbor, MI area) to do a report from the movie set (she is also playing a news reporter in the film) and she shared a photo with Neve Campbell on set. Here is our first look at what Neve Campbell‘s character Sydney Prescott will look in the upcoming new sequel:

Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell got snapshot happy on the set of Scream 4 and managed to capture Neve Campbell for a quick pic. As you can see below, it looks like when audiences reunite with Campbell’s character Sidney, she’ll be sporting a new look. Principal photography has begun in Michigan with Wes Craven at the helm.

And there you have it folks … Scream 4 is officially underway. My BFFs Sarah and Mark texted me last week that they ran into Hayden Panettiere in Ann Arbor, MI as they were making their way into the on-campus bar Goodtime Charlies. As you may know, Hayden will also be appearing in Scream 4 so … yeah, a little bit of Hollywood has made its way to Michigan. This is just the beginning … hopefully we’ll get more news from the Michigan set of Scream 4 as the Summer progresses.

Back in March we learned the sad news that Sandra Bullock and hubby Jesse James were dunzo after it came out that the scuzzbag cheated on her while she was away filming The Blind Side last year … in April, we learned that Sandra filed divorce papers so that she could make the break from James as quickly as possible. Today, we learn that the divorce has already been made final … Sandra Bullock and Jesse James are officially dunzo at last:

t’s officially over for Sandra Bullock and Jesse James. The pair filed papers under seal last week in Texas to finalize their divorce after their nearly five-year marriage crumbled amid reports of infidelity by James, PEOPLE has confirmed. The Oscar-winning actress, 45, filed for divorce in April in Austin, where she has a home. The papers cited “discord or conflict of personalities” as the reason for the split.

To be honest, I’m actually surprised that this divorce got finalized so quickly. But that being said, I couldn’t be happier for Sandra. Jesse James is just so vile, he treated her so horribly that she deserves to be detached from him as quickly and as fully as possible. Here’s hoping that she can now move forward and live her life happily and as contently as possible without having to deal with any of the garbage she’s been thru this year due to the actions of her ex-husband. I’m sure she still has much pain to work thru but hopefully this divorce can be a great way for her to move forward in her life.

Last night my good friend Adriana and I enjoyed a lovely date together which started out with dinner at Senor Taco before we made our way to the Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock, CA to attend the Dead Man’s Bones First Birthday Concert called A Special Evening with Ryan, Zach and the Kids:

There was free snacks, fun arts & crafts, magic, marionettes and of course a full concert performance by Dead Man’s Bones with the Silverlake Conservatory of Music Children’s Choir. While the Dead Man’s Bones show I saw last October was more like a stright concert, last night’s Birthday Party Concert had more of a variety show feel. A few weeks ago MTV announced that they have begun the search to find the network’s first ever Twitter Jockey who would be employed by MTV in NYC to be the social networking voice of the network. At stake is a $100,000 a year job as MTV‘s first ever TJ … and YOU can have a say in who they pick. It turns out that a friend of mine, who I met on Twitter actually, is in the running as one of the Top 20 candidates for the job as MTV‘s first ever TJ. Naturally, I am pulling for my boy to win the job … so say hello to John Thrasher, who will hopefully (and with your help) become the new MTV TJ:

Starting in July there will be several Twitter-based challenges. Each challenge is judged by an internal committee and TweetLevel, a specialized Twitter scoring service that measures a range of factors including influence, popularity, engagement and trust. After 5 challenges, 4 candidates move on to the finals, with 1 remaining finalist spot to be determined by voters. After weeks of Twitter centric challenges, the competition will jump to television for the live finale on August 8 at 10 PM ET where the final five candidates will be squared off in a series of elimination rounds. The audience will vote and those votes will determine who is to become the first MTV TJ. After the winner is announced, they will begin reporting immediately, including a high profile assignment at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Last night celebs of varying size and stature made their way to the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA to attend the 2010 BET Awards which are handed out annually since 2001 by Black Entertainment Television in order to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year. In addition to the usual music, acting and sporting awards that were handed out, a loving tribute was paid to Prince who is this year’s recipient of the BET Lifetime Achievement Award. Here are a few photos from the show last night and some deets about what went down:

The BET Awards on Sunday were hosted by a Queen and honored a Prince, but it was a fallen star, Chris Brown, who surprised fans with a tearful tribute to the late King of Pop. Alicia Keys, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj and current albums chart champ Drake were among the big winners at cable television network BET’s annual salute to R&B and hip-hop stars, while Diddy, Kanye West, Eminem and El DeBarge wowed the audience with their performances … The night’s top honor, BET’s viewers choice award, went to Rihanna and Young Jeezy for their song, “Hard.” Keys, who also performed a Prince song, took home two trophies for R&B female singer and best collaboration for smash hit, “Empire State of Mind,” sung with Jay-Z. Trey Songz, whose hits include “Can’t Help but Wait,” was named best R&B male singer. “I want to let you all know that anybody can be anything, all it takes is dedication and a lot of hard work,” Songz said. Canadian rapper Drake was named best male hip-hop artist, and Minaj took home the trophy for best female hip-hop singer. Beyonce and Lady Gaga earned video of the year honors for their collaboration “Video Phone,” but were not on hand to accept their trophy … Two days after the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, Jermaine Jackson took the stage for the tribute to his brother and said, “everyone worldwide for the love shown us (his family) over the last year.” He then quoted what his sister, Janet Jackson, had said at last year’s BET Awards: “Michael’s a legend to you, but to me, he’s my brother.” He pointed upward and said, “Love you, Michael.” Among other highlights, former “Diff’rent Strokes” TV star Todd Bridges introduced a section on stars who had died in the past year, including his one-time co-star Gary Coleman. And John Legend was given a humanitarian award.

Overall the show was pretty entertaining but I could not for the life of me stomach Chris Brown and his ridiculous antics on stage. I do not for one second believe his sincerity at all. It really bothers me that so many people are willing to forgive and forget his crimes already … I do not. IMHO, it is an affront to have someone like Brown, convicted of and barely punished for brutally assaulting a woman he claimed to love, pay tribute to the memory of the late Michael Jackson. But … I refuse to give that loser any more attention than he deserves. The rest of the show was pretty good. I was most impressed by the tribute to Prince as this year’s recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. Actor Matt LeBlanc, who played the lovable doofus Joey Tribbiani on the long-running NBC series Friends, was spotted out on the town in London, England over the weekend lookin’ like he enjoyed a bit more fun than he could handle. A clearly inebriated LeBlanc stumbled out of a London club lookin’ a bit worse for the wear … behold:

Matt LeBlanc did perhaps just a tiny bit too much partying Saturday night in London, RadarOnline.com has learned. The former Friends star had spent the evening at the tony Ivy Club and Bungalow 8 with colleagues from the new sitcom he’s shooting in the UK. But getting back to the limo for the drive to his hotel — well — that took the help of several friends to make happen … LeBlanc’s new show is called Episodes. It’s about a sophisticated British husband-and-wife writing team who make a deal to produce a sitcom for the US but are then stuck with Matt LeBlanc as their leading man. It will premiere on Showtime this fall….with Matt LeBlanc playing Matt LeBlanc!

LOL! I kinda love these photos … I mean, we’ve all been there, right? And it really sounds like Matt LeBlanc is gonna try and milk the Joey-well again in the hopes of scoring a new hit series. While he enjoyed much success in Friends, his sequel series Joey failed miserably and, well, he really hasn’t done much since. It should be too much of a stretch for Matt LeBlanc to play Matt LeBlanc but my guess is that he will be playing Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani. Will it be a hit? Only time will tell … in the mean time, it appears that Matt is getting a jump start on the boozing he’s likely to do if he suffers another failed TV series.
