Earlier this week we got our first look at the Look Book for the new clothing line Britney for Candie’s: The Limited Edition Collection which was designed by Britney Spears and will hit store shelves this Fall. Today we get to see a photo from the new ad campaign for the line … a photo which was leaked to Twitter mysteriously:

It’s unclear from whence this photo comes but my guess is that it’s from the photoshoot that Britney posed for last month here in SoCal. She looks great … I want to see more. Hopefully more photos will leak to tide us over until the campaign is officially unveiled

Last night David and I made our way to Dodger Stadium to cheer on the LA Dodgers vs. the NY Yankees in the first game of a 3 game series … here are a few photos from last night’s fun:

As usual, we had ourselves a great time at the ol’ ballpark. Despite the Dodger loss, we really had a blast. I managed to snag us some sweet seats at the last minute so last night was a total score. After we stuffed our faces with Dodger Dogs and beer sufficiently we were totally primed for the game. That was pretty much the highlight of our night … we decided to just chillax at home for the rest of the night.

Tonight, I’m meeting up with some Turtle Partiers for dinner and Toy Story 3. Should be fun!!

A week ago today we got our first look at the first teaser poster for the new film The Social Network (aka the Facebook movie) and today we get to check out the film’s first teaser video trailer:

While this first teaser doesn’t really show much it deffo enlightens as to what the tone of the film will be. To be honest, I’m not all that familiar with the infighting that went on in the creation of Facebook but from what I can hear in this clip, it is intriguing. I don’t know that this is a film that I need to rush out and see when it is released later this year but my interest has been piqued a bit. What do y’all think … does The Social Network sound like a film that you are anxious to see?

Mischa Barton, who just last Summer was admitted to a psychiatric ward after she suffered a mental breakdown and then who’s TV series The Beautiful Life: TBL was canceled shortly thereafter (after only 2 episodes), appears to be trying to get her life back in order these days. Mischa is featured in a new promo ad campaign for fashion designer Philipp Plein … here is one of her new photos:

She favours a grungy look these days, but Mischa Barton scrubbed up rather nicely for a new fashion shoot. The actress was sleek and stylish as she posed alongside a zebra in a kooky photoshoot for designer Philipp Plein. But the star appeared to have every tiny imperfection glossed over by the ubiquitous Hollywood airbrush … Instead of acting Mischa, 24, has found work advertising and endorsing products. Her latest campaign was photographed at the James Goldstein Mansion, built by architect John Lautner in the 1960′s in the Hollywood Hills. ‘Being in the limelight for a young and beautiful girl, the looks of course always get a lot of attention, Mischa Barton got a lot and learned to live with her fame,’ said Plein. ‘For me it was the big challenge to again show her as a diva, a rock n roll Goddess.’ He said the plan was to present Mischa in the style of Brigitte Bardot ‘with big hair, strong black make-up on the eyes and nude on the face as a glamorous and sexy rock n roll diva.’ The campaign will be seen worldwide in the international issues of top fashion magazines.

I mean … I don’t get the zebra … but this photo is heaps better than the last batch of photos we saw of Mischa Barton back in March (you know, those photos where Mischa‘s fingers were digging into her nose searching for boogies to dig out). Robert Pattinson, who made a showy appearance on the red carpet of the Hollywood premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse earlier this week, made a pretty surprising admission in one of his interviews. When asked about the success of the English Soccer Team at the 2010 World Cup soccer tournament this year, R. Pattz confessed that he is actually rooting for the US Soccer Team instead:

Robert Pattinson might want to rethink his soccer talk after confessing he’s cheering on Team U.S.A. in the World Cup at the “Twilight” premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday night, June 24. The British actor was asked about the success of his national side England, who have joined the Americans in the last 16 of the tournament in South Africa and his answer will chill the hearts of fans back home. He said, “I’m kinda more fired up by the American team, to be honest. I shouldn’t say that. Jeez, that’s terrible.”

No, Roberto … that’s not terrible, it’s very sweet actually. I think R. Pattz is quickly becoming one of us … and I love it. While I sincerely doubt that Rob would go as far as to become a naturalized citizen of the US, I think the fact that he is throwing his soccer support behind Team USA is even a more devoted act towards America than going for citizenship is. Sorry Brits, I think he’s ours now.

Congratulations are in order for Sean Preston Spears-Federline today … because lil’ homie just graduated from preschool, y’all! I know it’s a very rare occurrence when a Federline graduates (tho, it has been known to happen) so this is BIG news for the Federline family. Mama Britney Spears reunited with papa Kevin Federline at Reseda High School this week so that the entire Spederline family could be together for Sean P‘s big day:

I really love the ensemble that K-Fed decided to wear to his son’s graduation … that’s class, y’all. But, to be honest, I think it’s really very cool that Britney and K-Fed could come together for their son … and it looks like both Brit and Kevin left their significant others at home. It’s not very often that we get to see the entire Spederline family together again so … ’twas a rare occasion, indeed.

After Sean P. was all graduated and stuff, Britney and her beau Jason Trawick decided to sneak off to Palm Springs, CA to spend a romantic weekend together. After the jump, check out where Britwick made a pit stop on their way out of town …

Prince Harry of Wales, who spent some time last week touring the mine fields of Mozambique as well as chillin’ with his big bro Prince William and soccer stud David Beckham, has made his way to the US this week in order to spend 3 days in NYC in an effort to strengthen UK-US military ties. Harry paid a visit to the cadets at West Point Military Academy before making his way to NYC to give a speech on the deck of the USS Intrepid which is now permanently stationed as a museum ship in NYC. Here are a few photos from Harry‘s visit to the USS Intrepid yesterday and some deets from the day:

Britain’s Prince Harry says the bonds between British and American military veterans are strong but can be even stronger. Harry spoke Friday on the flight deck of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City during a reception for U.S. and British veterans and their families. The third in line to the British throne said his country can learn from American advances in veterans’ care and rehabilitation. Earlier, Harry joined cadets training at the U.S. Military Academy as he started a three-day visit to New York. On Saturday, he’ll throw out a first pitch at a Mets baseball game and on Sunday he plans to participate in a polo match on Governor’s Island in New York Harbor … The polo event will benefit American Friends of Sentebale, the U.S. arm of the global charity co-founded by Harry that supports impoverished children of Lesotho in southern Africa. He’s holding a reception for the event Saturday evening in Greenwich, Conn.

Some of you may recall that the USS Intrepid is the ship that my friend Mark’s dad bravely served on in his military days. It’s really very cool to see Prince Harry on the deck of the very same military ship that served as a temporary home for Mark’s dad. As mentioned above, Prince William made a visit to West Point before he visited the Intrepid.
