When last we checked in on the professional collaboration between Lindsay Lohan (subject) and Tyler Shields (photographer) we got an eyeful of a bloody, gun-toting L. Lo as featured in Shields‘s new photo book The Dirty Side of Glamour as well as a couple of posters shot by Shields for Lindsay‘s upcoming new film Inferno (where she will play porn star Linda Lovelace). Today we get to see a couple new photos of Lindsay as featured in new photos as part of Shields‘s photo series entitled Collison. The photos were taken with a new type of photography created by Shields, read on for his explanation of what it entails:

Collisions are a new type of photography I have created, they are made using NO PHOTOSHOP and no double exposure, What you are looking at is one image taken with one camera… I CAN NOT STRESS TO YOU ENOUGH THIS IS ALL DONE IN CAMERA NO PHOTOSHOP!!!!!!!! The name of these are “Collisions” more will be coming down the road a bit but for now here is the first ever released.Also this is NOT double exposure has nothing to do with exposure.

Collisions are made using a new technique that is not done with a computer, photoshop or double exposure just a new style of making images all done in the camera as 1 shot … A camera is just an expensive paper weight if you don’t use it! Collisions…

So yeah … Collisions … I’m not sure I am that impressed with the inventiveness but I suppose it is very cool that these images can be created without the use of Photoshop or the technique of double exposure. I find it very interesting that Tyler Shields seems to find a muse in Miss Lindsay Lohan. I can’t wait to see what other collabos these two come up with. The third Transformers film is currently in production here in SoCal and an industrious fan managed to video a bit of footage from the set. Now, hold on to your hats y’all … this is some exciting stuff. Check out :27 seconds of Transformers 3:

It seems that another Autobot, beside Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, is going to get makeover in “Transformers 3″. A video posted by nando 323 captures the shooting of the film in downtown Los Angeles at 4th Street and Main and shows a gray Chevy Corvette Centennial Convertible driving away without its top. The vehicle is believed to be the alternate mode of Sideswipe in the upcoming third “Transformers” film. Beside the said car, a red Ferrari 458 Italia and Bumblebee Camaro are also captured on the behind the scene video. In “Transformers 3″, Shia LaBeouf will reprise his role as Sam Witwicky but Megan Fox has announced that she will not return as Mikaela Banes. Thus, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is tapped to be the new leading lady. Michael Bay still serves behind the lens for this follow-up to “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” which is said to give a killer ending for the trilogy. The forthcoming movie additionally will contain action footage shot in Chicago and Moscow with Shockwave as the villain. The action sci-fi is set to hit U.S. cinemas on July 1, 2011.

OOOOOOOH exciting, yeah? Well … no … but at least it is cool to see a bit of this film being made right before our eyes. When Transformers 3 (insert cheesy subtitle here) hits theaters next Summer, you’ll think back to this moment when you got to watch the first footage from the movie being filmed. Or, ok, maybe you won’t but still … this is kinda cool, yeah?

Altho season 3 only just got started and a new season won’t even begin production until next year, HBO has announced that they have officially picked up True Blood for a 4th season. I’m sure there may be a small contingent of y’all out there worried that the show might not get picked up (er, yeah right) so this news should put those fears to rest:

As “True Blood” fans know, waiting sucks. But at least HBO isn’t making fans wait to find out if their favorite vampire soap opera will be back for a fourth season. On Monday (June 21), HBO announced that “True Blood” has been renewed for a 12-episode fourth season, set to begin production early next year and premiere in the summer of 2011. “The new season of ‘True Blood’ is off to a terrific start, as enthusiasm for this unique show continues to build among both subscribers and critics,” says HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo. “We’re looking forward to more chills from Alan Ball and his gifted team next year.” The third “True Blood” season premiered on June 13 and drew 5.1 million viewers for its first airing, not quite a record for the bloodsucking series, but up 38 percent from last summer’s season premiere. “I am beyond thrilled to be able to continue working with this amazing cast and crew,” states Alan Ball, who developed the series from Charlaine Harris’ novel series. “This is the most fun I have ever had.”

Well thank Jebus that is settled … I was only kinda sorta worried that HBO would decide not to renew its outrageously popular series for another season. Yeah, not really. I am fully expecting True Blood to last at least another 3 seasons … probably more. I understand the books have a lot of plots that can be developed for TV and, who knows, there may come a time where the show branches off into new, unwritten territory. True Blood seems like the kind of show that still has a lot to offer. I’m so happy that we have an assurance of at least one more season of butt-baring fun :D

After a few years together and a few rumors to the contrary, supermodel Miranda Kerr and actor Orlando Bloom have finally decided to get themselves engaged. While it once seemed like the couple might not make it, it turns out that they were blissfully in love all the while. So I think congrats are in order!! Miranda and Orlando are gettin’ hitched!

It’s (finally!) official – Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are engaged, his rep confirms to PEOPLE. The couple, who have been dating for almost three years, have dodged multiple engagement rumors throughout their relationship. In November 2008, the model, 27, and British actor, 33, shot down a report in the Australian media that they were getting married. Six months later, the two kept fans guessing when Kerr was spotted with a sparkler on her left ring finger, though reps at the time had no comment. When the two recently spent Thanksgiving together in Morocco, Bloom told reporters he and Kerr were “just enjoying our time together now” when asked if they were getting married anytime soon. “He’s a sweetheart and that’s all I’m gonna say,” Kerr, who has talked about settling down and starting a family in the future, told PEOPLE in February 2008. “My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch,” she told Page Six Magazine in 2008. “When this is all over, that’s where I’ll be. I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen.”

OMG … just what the world needs … a pair of ridiculously good-looking people gettin’ together and making MORE ridiculously good-lookin’ people. I’m not sure who is the more lucky one … they are both scoring BIG TIME in this deal. Call me crazy, but I’m thinkin’ part of the reason that Orlando finally popped the question is because he just can’t get enough of Miranda’s adorable pet pooch. Gah! I wish them all the happiness in the world on a very long and very happy life together!

David and I met up with our friends Emma and Josh for a bite to eat at Mexico City in Los Felix, CA last night before we split up and went on two separate dates. David and Emma went to The Greek Theater to see Erykah Badu & Janelle Monáe and Josh and I went to the Henry Fonda Theater to attend the 2010 Smiths/Morrissey Convention:

To make a long story short, the convention was not the hit I hoped it would be. While I would, in hindsight, call the night fun … the overall feel of the convention was just not what I was hoping it would be. That being said, the Smiths/Morrissey coverband These Charming Men put on a pretty good show and managed to save the night from total disappointment — at least for me. Are you tired of waiting for the release of the next big budget Batman film? Are you desperate to watch the Dark Knight take on his arch-nemesis The Joker again in a new film? Well have I got the solution for YOU! Independent filmmaker Aaron Schoenke has created an indie film version of Batman titled City of Scars and he did so for only $27,000. Considering that director Christopher Nolan made Batman: The Dark Knight for about $185 million, I’d say Schoenke managed to pull off quite a coup. Even better, you can watch the film IN FULL online right here:

When the Joker escapes from Arkham and murders the parents of a young boy, Batman recalls the pain of losing his own parents as a child. He is pushed past his limits to the point where his focus becomes revenge on all who stand in his way, including many of Gotham’s underworld. Finally, Batman is forced to look at the psychological profile of his own mind and accept the consequences of his life to find resolve.

I gotta say … this indie Batman film ain’t half bad. Sure, it’s not Oscar-worthy material (unless we’re talking shortfilms then, why not?) but it’s pretty darn entertaining and for the cost that went into it, it looks pretty posh. Kathy Griffin, who just launched a new season of her hit reality TV series My Life on the D-List just last week, has been spotted all over NYC in recent days lookin’ absolutely fabulous as she’s been promoting her show. But, as amazing as Kathy has been lookin’, I can’t help but think of a new up-and-coming celeb who bears a striking resemblance to Ms. G:

Yes, ever since RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant and upcoming RuPaul’s Drag U instructor Pandora Boxx (nee Michael Steck) decided to steal Kathy‘s look, now all I see when I see Kathy is Pandora. Let’s be honest, tho, both beyotches look fierce but the edge has to go to Kathy for rockin’ this fabulousness first. Pandora may be a hot drag queen but Kathy is still the reigning queen queen.

Last month we got our first look at Jason Momoa in costume as Conan the Barbarian on the set of the upcoming movie remake of the same name as well as a promo photo of Momoa that was snapped from inside the make-up trailer on set. Today we get our official look at that promo photo as it has finally been released to officially promote the upcoming remake film:

“Conan” has completed the principal photography and Nu Boyana Film Studios, where the movie was shot, has proudly announced it on their official website. Along with the announcement, they also posted the first official image from the film. The picture, which is said to be the one presented during a presentation at Cannes Film Festival, gives a close look at shirtless Jason Momoa who plays Conan. The lead actor is seen sporting long and wavy hair, as well as blue eyes. Beside shot inside the studio, “Conan” was also filmed in Bistriza, Bulgaria. The movie will center its story on iconic figure Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria. Rachel Nichols, Rose McGowan and Ron Perlman are among the cast ensemble for supporting roles, with Marcus Nispel serving as helmer. This action adventure flick is slated for 2011 U.S. release.

It’s kinda crazy to me that filming of his new Conan remake has already been completed. It was only a few months ago that we learned that Kellan Lutz was still in the running for the lead role … now, the movie is already in the can. As I said last month when truly got our first look at this promo photo of Momoa as Conan, I approve … wholeheartedly. Jason looks just beefy enough to look the part … now we’ll have to wait and see if his acting is up to par. Considering that former actor and current California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger managed to play Conan the Barbarian adequately, I think Jason Momoa should be in fine shape.
