"I didn't ask to be hated ... I just don't mind being a bitch"

After a long hiatus away, VH1 is bringing back their critically-acclaimed documentary/interview series Behind the Music and have chosen the very colorful Courtney Love as one of their subjects. Here is our first look at a preview video of C. Love‘s episode of behind the music were she comments on a wide array of topics … as only Courtney Love can do (BE WARNED: the following video contains NSFW adult language … lots of it):

Lord … the woman is a trainwreck. Just watching her speak is … painful. So of course, I’ll be sure to tune in when Behind the Music: Courtney Love airs on VH1 this coming Monday June 21. I mean … how can you watch a video like this and NOT want to see more? She’s such a mess … OY!

So tell me, beloved readers … which of the sound bytes uttered by Courtney in this clip is your fave?

Guess Who Comes Back, Gets Fried This Season On ‘True Blood’

Spoiler TV brings us a bunch of photos that were snapped on the SoCal set of True Blood from the filming of the season 3 finale episode … and these photos are pretty spoilery. True Blood season 3 only just got underway last weekend but they are currently in production of the season finale ep. In some of the photos, we discover that a TB character that we thought was gone is back. We also discover that a beloved TB character gets a wee bit burnt:

Now if you really want to find out who’s who and what’s what, you can see an uncensored photo from the True Blood set that will reveal all … possibly — after the jump …

You down with Op?
Celebs Team Up With Op For A Fun Fall Campaign

A fun bunch of young Hollywood “It” Girls/Guys including Glee‘s Dianna Agron & Cory Monteith, Gossip Girl‘s Jessica Szohr, 90210‘s Trevor Donovan and songstress Cassie have teamed up with Op to appear in a fun new Back to College ad campaign for the clothier … here is our first look at this new campaign:

I understand the national campaign photos were shot on the UCLA campus by photographer Larry Bartholomew and will hit magazines like Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Cosmopolitan this Fall. I ain’t gonna lie … I’ve been a fan of Op clothing since I was a kid. Living in SoCal, I like to spend as much time in shorts and t-shirts so I can totally dig the appeal. This campaign looks fun … especially considering it features so many of our fave TV actors. After the jump, check out some behind the scenes photos and video from the shoot …

MISSING
Milo Ventimiglia Shows Off A New Hair’Do

Yesterday we saw a scary photo of footballer Tom Brady showing off his new Bieber-inspired hair’do and today we learn that Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia is also showing off a new ‘do. Milo is known for his luxuriously shaggy/sexy long hair … but these days, homie is rollin’ with a chrome dome. He shaved off ALL of his beautiful hair, y’all!

A lucky fan ran into Milo and his new ‘do and managed to snap a pic with him (which she immediately posted on Twitter). I mean … the man does look good even with a buzzed head but … I miss his hair:

If YOU have seen Milo‘s missing hair, please call authorities … it is missed, very sorely missed :(

Don’t you just love it when a magazine spread like Taylor‘s in the new issue of GQ just keeps on giving? Here’s hoping there’s even more to give … like shirtless outtakes. MMMM.

The TV Guide
‘Grease’ Is The Word

Tonight some friends and I will be going to a very special private screening event of the very fun Grease Sing-A-Long movie that is coming to theaters this Summer. In case you hadn’t heard, Paramount Pictures will be re-releasing a sing-a-long version of Grease (which, you may be aware, is the most successful movie musical of all time) this Summer and tonight my friends and I will be able to partake in the fun before the movie opens wide across the country:

What is most exciting is that so many young Grease fans have never been able to see the film on the big screen! On Friday June 25, the Grease Sing-A-Long will show at the famed Hollywood Bowl here in LA and Didi Conn (who plays Frenchie in Grease) will play host … so if you live here in SoCal, you better make sure you get tickets HERE!

For those of you in the rest of the country, you can click HERE to find out when in July the Grease Sing-A-Long will hit your local movie theaters. And, just to give you a taste of how amazingly fun this movie will be … check out the trailer:

Yes, folks … it’s the movie that you’ve known and loved for years and you KNOW you sing along when you watch it at home with friends. Now’s your chance to sing along in PUBLIC! OMG … so fun!! I am so excited for tonight … I cannot wait!!

Kellan Lutz Rocks The Loincloth On Set

Back in March we learned that Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz scored the role of Greek god Poseidon in the new Tarsem Singh film Immortals (previously titled War of the Gods) and today we get our first look at Kellan on the set of Immortals in Montreal, Quebec. As you can see from the following photos, Kellan was being fitted for the fancy loincloth that he will be forced to wear in this new film:

MMMMM. As much as I am NOT a fan of this loincloth look, I have to admit … Kellan wearing as little clothing as possible works for me. I’m not sure why a god of the Sea would need to wear any clothing at all … wouldn’t it make more sense for him to just be wet and completely nekkid at all times? I mean … c’mon. Sigh … I guess I’ll just have to enjoy these photos … loincloth or (preferably) no loincloth.

Daniel Radcliffe Does ‘L’Uomo Vogue’ Magazine

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is featured on the cover and in the pages of the Italian fashion magazine L’Uomo Vogue … here is our first look at his latest coverphoto:

As is usual for L’Uomo Vogue, there is no online version of the coverstory interview … but industrious DanRad fans have managed to get images from this photospread online for our viewing pleasure. After the jump, check out a few photos of Daniel chillin’ at a hyper-color bowling alley inside the pages of L’Uomo Vogue magazine …

First Look: ‘The Smurfs’

Ugh. The day I dreaded would arrive … has arrived. Back in September of ’09, we got our first glimpse of what the computer-generated Smurfs would look like in the new big screen adaptation of the classic ’80s cartoon. In February of this year, we saw that the new version of the Smurfs got tweaked a wee bit for the film. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen photos of stars Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria (as Gargamel) filming scenes for the movie all over NYC but thus far haven’t gotten a good look at how the Smurfs will actually look in the film … until now. USA Today brings us our first look at the little blue guys as they will be portrayed in The Smurfs movie and, I have to say, I am SO not impressed:

A live-action comedy about the little blue forest-dwellers is being shot in New York, and here is a first peek at the formerly 2-D Grouchy, Papa and Clumsy, reimagined through computer animation and eventual 3-D projection. A trailer makes its debut Thursday on Yahoo.com; the film arrives in August 2011. Until now, the Smurfs have existed only in the Middle Ages among knights, kings and wizards, such as their nemesis Gargamel (played by Hank Azaria) and his cat Azrael. During the opening scene, set in that original time, Gargamel discovers the Smurfs’ magical village and scatters them into the woods. “Unfortunately, Clumsy goes the wrong way into a forbidden grotto where a few other Smurfs follow,” says director Raja Gosnell (Scooby-Doo). “Because it’s a blue moon, there’s a magical portal that transports them to Central Park.” Returning home is more complicated as Gargamel pursues them. The trio pictured — along with Smurfette, Brainy and a new character, the brave-to-a-fault Gutsy — take refuge with a husband and wife (Neil Patrick Harris and Glee’s Jayma Mays). Eating the Smurfs was always Gargamel’s unfulfilled goal, but that’s one idea the filmmakers decided to scrap. “We all wondered whether we would be making a family version of Sweeney Todd,” jokes producer Jordan Kerner (Charlotte’s Web). Now, Gargamel simply wants to capture the Smurfs to serve as charms, whose mystical essence will make his inept magic more powerful — and dangerous. You’ll see the Smurfs “as fully living, breathing creatures,” Gosnell says. “They’re little mammals. They’re vulnerable little creatures in our big modern world.” Heart is important in the film, but also a sense of humor. The Smurfs are so sweet and innocent that their clash with cynical city life was devised to provide some contrast and edge. Dad and Mom may be amused by the out-of-the-mouths-of-babes naiveté of the characters, who speak the blunt truth that little kids sometimes do. “They see (Harris) putting on a tie, and wonder whether it’s a leash. Then they think he’s a merchant of beautiful cloth, or that he deals in sales — as in ‘sail’ boats,” Kerner says. “He has to admit he wears it because everyone else wears it, and that’s not something they understand.”

No … nuh uh. I realize this is just a peek but … no, I do not like how the Smurfs look as 3D CGI “living, breathing creatures”. Maybe it’s just me but they don’t look cute … they look like little things I’d prolly want to step on if I saw them running around NYC. I love me some NPH and Azaria looks great as Gargamel but … this first look at the Smurfs as they will look in this new movie has confirmed my fears that I will not be a fan. I’ll just stick with the beloved 2D ‘toon version of The Smurfs from my childhood, thank you very much … but that’s me. What do y’all think of this new look of the Smurfs?
