Taylor Lautner Gets Shirtless For ‘GQ’ Magazine

Earlier today we got our first look at Taylor Lautner on the cover of the new issue of GQ magazine — due out on newsstands on June 22 — but right now we get to see some of the photos from inside the mag that I think are worth your while. When I posted the cover earlier today, only one photo from inside the mag was available for viewing … by this afternoon, a few more photos from his spread have been made available … behold:

Yes, my friends … I WILL be buying this issue of GQ when it hits newsstands on June 22. Actually, I’ll be buying two. How about you?

GTL-GQ?
Are The ‘Jersey Shore’ Guys Headed For ‘GQ’ Magazine?

Um … could it be that the Jersey Shore guys — Mike The Situation Sorrentino, Paul Pauly D Delvecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Vinny Guadagnino — are ready to add the initials “GQ” to their daily regimen of GTL? According to RadarOnline … yes, they are. The site reports that the JS guys — who have already posed for an upcoming cover of Rolling Stone magazine — are ready to appear in the pages of GQ magazine. Um … what has the world come to?

The Jersey Shore guys are transforming from reality TV stars to male models! Fresh from a Rolling Stone shoot, the buff boys are now going to be in GQ magazine. Yes, it seems like a paradox because they rarely wear shirts, but apparently the ultimate men’s magazine has figured out a way to make it work. They are near the top of being the most talked about male celebrities out there today and a source close to the cast told RadarOnline.com that offers for publicity and work are rolling in. So you’ll soon see Ronnie, DJ Pauly D, Vinny and The Situation in GQ, but no word yet on exactly what the magazine has planned for them. It looks like the mantra of, “gym, tan, laundry,” is paying off!

So lemme get this straight … first the guys get to pose with supermodel Bar Refaeli … then they get to pose for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine … and NOW they’re going to appear in the pages of one of the biggest men’s fashion magazines in the world? Why, exactly? See … Taylor Lautner on the cover of GQ I can get down with … the JS guys on the cover? No. When will they make it stop … when?!

Hit me Bieber ... one more time?
Tom Brady Shows Off A New Hair’Do

Last week Katherine Heigl showed off a terrible hair’do that was far TOO OLD for her on the red carpet of the London premiere of her new film Killers and this week Tom Brady shows off a kinda terrible hair’do that is far TOO YOUNG for him seated courtside at the NBA Finals in Boston, MA. Is it just me or does Tom‘s new hair’do remind you of someone else?

Just before wife Gisele made her big comeback on the catwalk in Brazil, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was in Boston debuting something of his own–a shaggy new bowl cut! The proud papa of baby Benjamin was spotted front-and-center at the NBA finals last week sporting an overgrown mop that was a major departure from the debonaire, cropped hair that we’re used to seeing on the handsome quarterback during football season. The teenager-like look drew an overwhelming response from Patriots nation, with Boston-area stylists telling the Boston Herald that Brady’s Bieber hair should be “a little more textured, layered, a little more shaped.”

Oh man … this ‘do just looks so bad on Mr. Brady. Get thee to a barber shop, post haste!

Reunited and it feels so good?
Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry Take Nahla To Disneyland

Back in April we learned the sad news that Halle Berry and babydaddy Gabriel Aubrey decided to end their 4 year relationship but today we learn that the couple reunited (at least for a short while) to take their daughter Nahla Ariela to Disneyland as a family! It’s unclear if this family excursion is a happy sign that the couple are working on repairing their relationship or not but it looks like they really were one big happy family again … at least for one more day:

Halle Berry reunited with ex Gabriel Aubry Monday afternoon. The two — who split in April after four years of dating — spent 3 1/2 hours at Disneyland with 2-year-old daughter, Nahla. “They seemed very happy together. They were totally interacting: laughing, joking… he even touched her several times on the shoulder,” an eyewitness tells UsMagazine.com. “They seemed very content.” But don’t hold your breath for a reconciliation. “There was no holding hands, no sign that they were back together again,” the onlooker explains. “He spent most of his time with Nahla. She was on his shoulders, he carried her around most of the time. Halle handed her off to him.”

You know, even if Halle and Gabriel don’t get back together together it’s a good sign that they can play nice for the sake of their incredibly beautiful daughter. Ah well … you never know what may happen. They seemed to break up totally randomly … mebbe they’ll get back together totally randomly too!

Kiefer Sutherland chills in NYC
Jack Bauer Enjoys His Retirement

It’s been almost a month since the series finale of 24 aired on FOX but it looks like Jack Bauer is already happily enjoying his retirement. An unshaven and chilled out Kiefer Sutherland was spotted on the streets of NYC this week looking very rested and relaxed:

We do know that Jack will be called back to action when the 24 movie begins filming (whenever that may be) but for now, it looks like he just chillin’ like a villain on penicillin.

The TV Guide
Reminiscing With Tori Amos

Over the weekend we got to see photos and hear audio of Tori Amos‘s concert performance at the Bonnaroo Arts & Music Festival in Manchester, TN on Friday night (her only scheduled US performance this year) and came upon a blog that offers the entire performance for download. The site also features bootleg recordings, previously featured on Yessaid.com, of Tori‘s entire Plugged ’98 Tour — the first tour she ever did with a backing band. I was immediately transported back to 1998 … and the 7 Tori Amos shows that I saw that year. Yes, folks, I am a HUGE Tori Amos fan:

I was living in Detroit, MI at the time and I was within driving range of Toronto, Canada, Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL, Grand Rapids, MI and East Lansing, MI (the cities that were included in my 7 concert Tori tour that year) … and all of the shows I attended are now available for download. Man … that was a great year. I got to meet Tori a few times at some of the meet and greets she did with fans before and after the shows. If you PROMISE not to judge me too hard, check out a photo of what I looked like back in ’98 when I was following Tori Amos on tour — after the jump …

This video had its actual world premiere at the Bonaroo Arts & Music Festival but now we all get to enjoy! Ok Go is one of my fave bands and they consistently put out the most kick-ass music videos around. I love this song but I really love this video! What do you think?

Princes William & Harry Make New Friends In Botswana

Yesterday we saw photos of Prince William all decked out in his royal best at a celebration for The Most Noble Order Of The Garter in London, England and photos of Prince Harry whooping it up at a garden party in Botswana … today we learn that the royal brothers have been reunited in Botswana to make friends with some of the native animals there … behold:

ANYONE gets nervous when meeting royalty for the first time. And as they began their first overseas tour together yesterday, Princes William and Harry discovered what happens when you come face to face with an eight foot snake with a case of the jitters. At a nature reserve in Botswana, an African rock python was draped over the shoulders of the brothers and began to urinate within inches of the future king’s hand. William laughed off the incident, saying: ‘It’s having a pee. It’s obviously very relaxed.’ But he looked decidedly less enamoured when Harry playfully held the constrictor’s head towards him, grimacing as he said: ‘Don’t put it in my face.’ Harry was also uneasy, aware that the two-year-old snake was panicking faced with a large crowd of schoolchildren, game wardens and press. Pythons are non-venomous but capable of killing and eating mammals up to the size of a small child. They are designated royal game and it is an offence to kill them. But while William got the tail end of that encounter, he got his own back minutes later with a jibe at his younger brother. The pair both vied to have a baby python named after them but William played the age card and forced Harry to accept a less exotic snake as his namesake instead. William, 27, said: ‘You can have the common house snake. It’s the same colour as your hair. Big brother chooses the python, little brother gets the common brown.’ ‘Mine will bite you,’ 25-year-old Harry retorted. Asked whether the princes have a phobia of snakes, a royal aide said: Let’s put it this way, they have a healthy respect for them. The good-humoured brotherly banter was played out at Mokolodi Nature Reserve, in south Botswana, at the start of the princes’ six-day tour around South Africa. Education camps at the reserve are supported by the conservation charity Tusk Trust, which has William as its royal patron.

Ok … NO on the snake … actually make that HELL NO on the snake … BUT, despite the slithery python in these photos, the princes do look very cute. I love seeing them look all natural … well, as natural as one can look with a 10ft. python wrapped around one’s neck. But, snakes aren’t the only animals they spent some time getting to know. After the jump, find out what other native animal of Botswana the two princes got to meet on this visit …

The ‘King of Pop’ Celebrated with New Game in His Honor
The Official Michael Jackson Video Game Has Been Announced

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, the massive electronics conference where the biggest video game announcements in the Western world are announced, is underway here in SoCal and today we learn that Ubisoft has officially announced the production of an all new official Michael Jackson video game. MJ‘s backup dancers, from his unrealized This Is It Tour, were on hand at E3 for the announcement … read on for the known deets of this game thus far:

Ubisoft, a leading producer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment products worldwide, announced at their press briefing prior to the renowned video game conference, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the development of an officially licensed Michael Jackson video game. The game is a close collaboration between Ubisoft and the Michael Jackson Estate and will feature some of his most iconic songs, including Beat It and Billie Jean. The game will offer a truly interactive experience – placing fans into the shoes of the most celebrated performer of all-time. The game was unveiled in grand fashion during Ubisoft’s E3 press briefing with a surprise performance from Jackson’s former back-up dancers, choreographed by famed “This is It” tour choreographer and producer, Travis Payne. The dancers took stage at the briefing, performing to the mega-hit song Beat It. The game is slated to be in stores by holiday 2010 and will be available for Microsoft’s Project Natal, Sony’s PlayStation 3 and PSP as well as the Nintendo Wii and DS. More information will be released by Ubisoft in the near future.

As I understand it, this new MJ video game will be the first officially sanctioned game since MJ released Moonwalker back in the late 80′s:

I’m guessing the graphics and sound of the new game will be a touch more sophisticated than Moonwalker but it only needs to be half as AWESOME in order to be a hit. We may have lost the King of Pop himself but the folks in charge of MJ‘s estate are going to be sure to keep bringing us official MJ products for many years to come … that way, he won’t be truly gone from our lives. I’ll have to hear and see more about this new game before I form an opinion but do YOU think you’d be interested in playing a Michael Jackson video game?
