Soccer superhero David Beckham will be featured in his very own comic book published by Bluewater Productions (who have previously published comic books on First Lady Michelle Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and more) and today we get our first look at the comic book cover and some pages. Here are the 2 covers that will be made available when Fame: David Beckham hits comic book stores this September:

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have already had their lives told through a comic book and now it’s David Beckham’s turn. As Bluewater Productions have taken on the footballer as their next subject of their popular line of “Fame” bio comics, MTV gave the comic preview. “Fame: David Beckham” will arrive on shelves in September. The comic explores Beckham’s life “from his earliest days on the soccer field, when he dreamed of playing for Manchester United, to the challenges of his soccer days in the United States,” the official text of Bluewater’s latest “Fame” announced. Beckham has become the first sport star featured in a Bluewater comic. “Fame: David Beckham” is written by Pete Rogers with art by Pablo Martinena. On the project, Rogers said, “Working on the Beckham book was quite different from any other comic I’ve worked on to date.” “Telling someone’s real life story was quite a challenge, and I tried to find as many ways as possible to ensure that it was visually interesting and not just a case of ‘he did this and then he did that’,” Roger added about “Fame: David Beckham” which retails for $3.99.

Well it’s about damn time! When these Fame comic books started to get published, I thought that David Beckham would be the perfect subject for his own comic book. He’s lived such a colorful life, I always knew his story would be perfect for comic book pages. Yesterday we learned the HORRIFYING news that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub (née Beverly Ann Merrill) will be appearing in a sex tape to be released by Hustler Inc. and today we get our first look at the first terrifying images from that sex tape, courtesy of DanielleStaubRaw.com … behold:

Ugh … you know, I used to feel sorry for Danielle because last season it appeared that all of the other NJ Housewives were ganging up on her just to be mean. She has been showing her true, crazy colors this season on the show and I cannot in good conscious endorse anything that she does. Nothing about the release of this sex tape is at all surprising to me. On the contrary, it’s horrifying. Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted making his way out of a gym in Studio City, CA yesterday lookin’ happy as can be and flashing his trademark smile to any and everyone in his vicinity. Because I’m a sucker for Jakey poo‘s charms, I thought it would be nice to share Jake‘s happiness with all y’all:

Yeah, it doesn’t take much to make me happy … just a little Jake Gyllenhaal in the morning to get the day started right. It’s a shame, tho, that SoCal is covered in June Gloom clouds … if it had been sunny and hot yesterday, Jake might’ve felt the need to NOT wear this hoodie sweatshirt. Ah well … the long, hot days of Summer still lie ahead. Hopefully we’ll get to see more of smilin’ Jake wearing less.

Er … remember that report that came out Tuesday about Lindsay Lohan‘s court-ordered SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet going off while she was partying at an MTV Movie Awards afterparty on Sunday night? Well, the judge overseeing her probation case (you know, the one who ordered that she wear the SCRAM bracelet in order to force her compliance with her punishment) got wind of Lindsay‘s SCRAM troubles and immediately issued a new bench warrant for her arrest! It looks like Lindsay is going to get her ass hauled into court to stand before the judge and explain what triggered her SCRAM bracelet to go off while she partied on Sunday night:

Lindsay Lohan is a wanted woman — Judge Marsha Revel has just issued a bench warrant for her arrest, and it’s all about the SCRAM. Bail has been forfeited for the previous hearing. The new bail has been set at $200,000. There are 5 violations, according to the judge. Lindsay’s SCRAM bracelet generated a report to SCRAM officials sometime after the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night. Sources say the SCRAM data shows evidence of alcohol.

Naturally, Lindsay felt compelled to offer more explanations/excuses about her SCRAM bracelet woes on her official Twitter profile, she tweeted:

My scram wasn’t set off. / My scram wasn’t set off-Its physically impossible considering I’ve nothing for it to go off-All of these false resports are absolutely wrong / This is all because of a FALSE accusation by tabloids& paparazzi& it is fucking digusting- I’ve been more than I’m compliance &feeling great / it’s from the light up bracelet Johnny put on me-also, they can check probation records for alcohol as i got tested YESTERDAY / oh, fyi i have never heard of any sort of “curfew” at all.. so this is all news to me… i always upload my scram / how insane are these accusations?! / i did not violate anything .. at all

Now, it is entirely possible that L. Lo‘s SCRAM bracelet suffered a malfunction because we all know that technology isn’t always perfect … that being said, it’s kinda hard to give the girl the benefit of the doubt considering her track record. We do not know for sure what information the judge has to go on but we do know that a bench warrant has been issued for Lindsay Lohan‘s arrest — that’s some serious biz, y’all. I suspect we’ll know soon what is going on. I hope for Lindsay‘s sake this truly is all a misunderstanding … I find it very hard to believe that her judge will be very sympathetic and lenient if it turns out that L. Lo violated her probation by ingesting alcohol or any unauthorized controlled substance. We shall see …

UPDATE: Mere moments after this bench warrant was issued for Lindsay‘s arrest late Tuesday afternoon, 10% of her elevated bail of $200,000 was paid by by a bail bondsman and the arrest warrant was recalled. As a result, Lindsay remains free and out of police custody. I understand, tho, that if she slips up again (ie. if her SCRAM bracelet goes off again) she will likely be arrested and thrown into jail without bond. Speaking to Gossip Cop, L. Lo offers more explanation concerning her SCRAM probs:

Following an emergency meeting in her chambers earlier today, Judge Marsha Revel issued an arrest warrant for Lindsay Lohan because of an alleged violation of the actress’s bail conditions. Reportedly, Lohan’s alcohol monitoring bracelet was triggered on Sunday night. In fact, a source in the D.A. office told Gossip Cop that the meeting was being held because of an “alleged violation with alcohol use.” “At this time, the court finds she was in violation of the conditions of her bail,” Judge Revel later determined after meeting with prosecutor Danette Meyers and Lohan’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley. But Lohan vehemently denies violating the conditions. The “Mean Girls” star tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “It’s just so untrue and unfair. I haven’t touched any alcohol or anything of the sort.” Lohan remains free on bail, and is set to appear in court again on July 6.
