Lindsay Lohan & SCRAM Pose For German ‘Vogue’ Magazine

Get yer boots on

Lindsay Lohan posted a tweet to her official Twitter profile giving us the head’s up that she spent her yesterday posing on the beach for German Vogue magazine. With her SCRAM bracelet safety tucked inside her UGGs-lookin’ boots, Lindsay wielded a bow and arrow (in her best Barbarella pose?) for photographer Ellen Von Unwerth … behold:

Nice days work from 9am-7pm shooting German Vogue with Ellen Von Unwerth ahhhhh tired

Welp, you gotta hand it to the girl … even on probation while wearing a court-ordered SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet, she still manages to get work … which is good cuz the girl needs the work. I’m not really surprised that Lindsay isn’t too keen on showing off her new accessory in the pages of German Vogue magazine … but just a wee peek would’ve been nice for the mag (because photos of her SCRAM bracelet would likely sell more copies of the mag). In any event, Lindsay managed to get a “full day’s work” in yesterday AND she found yet another way to hide her SCRAM bracelet. I can’t remember the last time L. Lo was so industrious. Probation seems to be the best thing for her career right now!

Listen: Kylie Minogue, ‘Aphrodite’ Mega-Mix

Just a taste

Yesterday we got to see photos and video from Kylie Minogue‘s appearance at Splash Bar in NYC late Friday night/early Saturday morning and today we get to see video that features a few snippets from her upcoming new album Aphrodite (due out next month). Kylie debuted a mega-mix of song snippets from her new album and an industrious fan managed to record it on video UPDATED with a studio version of the mega-mix:

I realize the sound quality isn’t the best but we do get to hear some of what the album will sound like when it gets released in just a few weeks. Kylie is always so good to her fans, I’m not surprised at all that she was happy to preview tracks from her new album. This is a great tease for what is sure to be a FANTASTIC album. I can’t wait to hear all of the songs in full … but, for now, this mega-mix video is a nice treat.

Scary ‘Splice’

The TV Guide

After David and I celebrated his cousin Scott’s wedding to his beautiful new wife Danielle yesterday, we managed to get back to our hotel early enough for us to venture out to see a late movie showing. Because we were in the mood for a cheesy horror film, we decided to go see Splice:

Lawd … what a terrible but fun movie. Firstly, absolutely NOTHING that happens in this film is at all believable … which is a refreshing change of pace, I think. To many of these schlocky films try to make the ridiculous that you see on screen seem plausible … and when they are not, they come off as just plain crap. This film makes no bones about the world of fantasy it portrays. And this movie has got it all … relationship issues, mothering issues, the worst science imaginable and THE most uncomfortable sex scenes I’ve ever seen. Yeah, the movie is not the best thing ever … but it was fun. Well, it was fun for us … mebbe we were still drunk from the wedding reception, mebbe we were just too tired to know any better but we had fun seeing Splice.

And so … our time on the East coast is over … David and I will be rushing to the airport soon and will be hopefully winging our way home soon thereafter (it’s raining pretty hard right now so, fingers crossed). See y’all on the West side!!

Hot Dude Of The Week: Jae Garcia

Weekend Hotness

It is time, once again, for us to feast our eyes on this week’s Hot Dude of the Week. As you should be well aware, we get to check out a nice piece of manflesh each and every Sunday just because it’s fun. This week’s Hot Dude was photographed by Adam Kozik and he shows us that less is more … especially when the “less” refers to clothing. Say hello to Jae Garcia:

I like this photo of Jae here because he isn’t too overly muscly. His unkempt hair looks natural and his rosy-cheeked disposition is not at all off-putting. I like that he looks like a nice, normal guy. With his little floral speedo ready to go, Jae looks like he’s in the mood to take a dip … wouldn’t you like to join him? Enjoy!!

Miley Cyrus Goes G-A-Y, Kisses Another Girl On Stage

She's at it again

Just a few days ago, Miley Cyrus shocked her fans by pretending to kiss a female backup dancer during her performance on a recent episode of Britain’s Got Talent which aired in the UK. As a result of the hubub surrounding her performance, Miley issued a personal explanation of the “the kiss” denying that there was anything wrong with her actions by saying, and I quote, “GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD”. Last night, Miley performed at G-A-Y Nightclub in London and — once again — planted a big, fake kiss on her female backup dancer during her performance of her new single Can’t Be Tamed … because, apparently, Miley Cyrus can’t be tamed, y’all:

As you can see, Miley really turned it out for her G-A-Y fans … the outfit is actually kinda hot and she is really owning this non-kiss kiss that she keeps doing in live performances. Mebbe being in London has freed her from her inhibitions … who knows, I’m just glad to see that she doesn’t seem to have a problem showing that there ain’t nothing wrong with a little same-sex kissing … even if NOTHING HAPPENED and THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS going on IN THE WORLD. In case you missed it the first time, you can watch Miley‘s performance of Can’t Be Tamed on Britain’s Got Talent to see when Miley faux kissed this girl the first time — after the jump … More »

Revealed: The Official Logo For ‘Green Lantern’

Anyone can be chosen?

On Friday we got our first look at the rumored title logo (along with the costume concept art) for the upcoming Marvel Comics film Thor and, not to be outdone, the official logo artwork and tag line for the DC Comics film Green Lantern has been released. According to a new teaser poster for the film, due out in Summer 2011, Anyone can be Chosen to join the Green Lantern Corps. And this is what the Green Lantern movie logo will look like:

More than a year away from the release of Green Lantern, Warner Bros. has unveiled an official logo and first promotional art for the highly anticipated movie. The images, along with the slogan “Anyone Can Be Chosen,” apparently accompanied a press release issued Friday by Warner Bros. Consumer Products announcing “a landmark year ahead for DC Comics and master toy licensee Mattel,” and hyping the “incredibly wide merchandise appeal” of Green Lantern. The promo art is obviously geared toward courting new licensees for the June 2011 film … Directed by Martin Campbell, Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Jay O. Sanders, Temuera Morrison, Taika Waititi, Angela Bassett and Tim Robbins. The movie opens on June 17, 2011.

Those of you familiar with the Green Lantern character know that this “new” logo isn’t anything all that different from the older, traditional Green Lantern logo. The fact that this logo is the one that has been chosen for the film is significant only because of the excitement about the film … which is still over a year away from being released. I am SO loving that we are getting such early looks at promo materials for next year’s big Summer films … in addition to the Green Lantern goodies, I’m also very geeked about the Thor stuff (HERE and HERE) and the Captain America: The First Avenger stuff (HERE) that we’ve already seen. 2011 is going to be a big year for Superhero movies … I can’t wait to see which one will come out on top! Which of the big Superhero films are YOU most looking forward to seeing?

The 2010 Spike Guys’ Choice Awards Are Handed Out

The show will be telecast on June 20

Altho Sandra Bullock‘s surprise appearance at the 2010 Spike Guys’ Choice Awards last night was a pretty big deal, there were other celebs in the hiz to strut their stuff on the red carpet and/or collect award trophies of their own. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA last night for the Spike Guys’ Choice Awards:

As you might expect, Sandra did not walk down the red carpet so that her appearance on stage to collect the Troops Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year could be kept a closely guarded secret (and I don’t expect she’ll appear on the red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards tonight either, mainly so she can avoid answering any uncomfortable questions that might be asked of her) but as you can see, there were other celebs spotted on the red carpet. After the jump, check out some pics from the Guys’ Choice stage and find out who some of the night’s big winners were … More »

Sandra Bullock Makes A Surprise Appearance At The Spike Guys’ Choice Awards

America's Sweetheart

She’s back!! Sandra Bullock made a surprise appearance at the 2010 Spike Guys’ Choice Awards which were taped in Los Angeles, CA last night for broadcast on on June 20. While everyone was expecting Sandra to make her return to the public spotlight tonight at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, she shocked everyone (including the staff of the Guys’ Choice Awards) by appearing on stage last night to collect the Troops Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year (an award that was voted on exclusively by members of the US military forces). Here is a photo of Sandra Bullock on stage at the Spike Guys’ Choice Awards last night and some deets about what went down:

In her first public appearance since the back-to-back news of her divorce and the adoption of her adorable baby son Louis, Sandra Bullock returned to the spotlight Saturday night, making a memorable surprise appearance at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards. There to accept the “Troops Choice” Award for Entertainer of the Year, from presenter Robert Downey, Jr. – the honor was bestowed by members of the military – the Blind Side Oscar winner, looking stunning in form-fitting black, leather mini-dress, received a standing ovation from the audience inside the Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. “Let’s be honest here, just for a moment. We’re all going to be honest, right?” Bullock, 45, told the crowd. “Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular I.E.D. [improvised explosive device] explosion that became my personal life?!” Once the laughter subsided, she added, “No, it’s okay. Because I would do it over again if it was to entertain our troops , and our extraordinary troops deserve something much more than some actress in a tight dress talking herself.” She also told them, “I would sing, but you’ve seen enough pain in your lifetime. I would dance – I’m a pretty good dancer, but as I mentioned, the dress is pretty tight.” Members of the military stationed throughout the world were the only ones permitted to vote in the “Troops Choice” category, and did so via the Spike Web site. The crowd at the ceremony Saturday was made up of members of the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Coast Guard, as well as such entertainment stars as Robert DeNiro, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Jon Hamm and others. Bullock’s appearance was kept secret from even the show’s staff and participants, PEOPLE was told. U.S. Army 1st Sergeant Nicholas McClain, who shared the stage with Bullock, told PEOPLE afterward, “Originally we were told she wasn’t going to be here at all, and somebody would be accepting on her behalf. So it was a great surprise to see her coming out on the stage.” The award went to Bullock, McClain, said, “Just because a lot of the movies that she does – they provide different venues for everybody to see us. And we know that she has a lot of great support for the troops. And she’s America’s Sweetheart, regardless of anything that’s been going on in her past.” As for sharing a stage with the Oscar winner, he said, “It was a great honor. She’s a beautiful woman and a great supporter of the military.”

Aww … yay! What a great surprise. But, by now, we should not be all that surprised with Sandra and her surprises. After all, she shocked the world by adopting a baby boy that NO ONE knew about and managed to keep it a secret for months without anyone being the wiser. She’s a sneaky one, that Sandra. Not to take away too much from the MTV Movie Awards which will air LIVE tonight on MTV … but this was a nice coup on the part of the Spike Guy’s Choice Awards. I love that Sandra‘s award was given to her by members of the US military — how could she not show up to collect this fun honor. But, while the Guys’ Choice Awards has the honor of being the site of Sandra‘s return to the spotlight, the MTV Movie Awards will be the first time we actually get to see her on stage, in person. Sandra Bullock is a classy, classy lady … and she is loved by many. It’s so great to see her back on stage, collecting awards. I know many people are excited to see her the MTV Movie Awards tonight … but this surprise at the Guys’ Choice Awards was a nice little treat. Welcome back, Sandra … we’ve missed you!
