This Sunday the 2010 MTV Movie Awards will air on MTV at 8PM ET/PT and during the broadcast, the show will feature a scene from the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (due out in theaters on June 30). But right now, we get to check out 10 whole seconds from the clip that will be shown in FULL this coming Sunday night:

In April we learned that Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne had coupled up together … in May the couple finally went public with their lurve … this month, Bravil have taken the next step — their first vacation together. Brody and Avril popped up on a beach in Costa Rica lookin’ all kinds of coupley … behold:

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner are taking their romance international – cozying up on the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. The pop-punk princess and The Hills star were spotted on Friday cuddling on the beach and sending the already tropical temperatures soaring, even though Jenner was sporting some not so hot ‘Spam’ shorts. The couple have tried to keep their relationship on the down low, insisting they are ‘just friends’ but pictures speak louder than words – and as they are snapped making out and cuddling around the world it’s pretty hard to keep up the denials. Brody and Avril set the romance rumours in motion when they were first spotted dining together at Hollywood hotspot Koi on February 4th, following up with a PDA packed rendezvous at top club, Voyeur. And they have reportedly got matching tattoos – twice! Back in April the pair got matching ‘lighting bolt’ tattoos during a trip to Las Vegas, Avril on her forearm and Brody behind his ear. One month later, they rocked into Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club Tattoo Parlor in Hollywood where they got a matching F-word obscenity tattooed on their ribs. Nothing says I love you like a matching tattoo – especially a four-lettered one!

UGH … first matching tattoos (TWO sets of matching tattoos) and now international holidays together? This is really starting to sound serious. To be honest, I didn’t think these two were actually gonna make a go of it as a couple (not even after I heard about the tattoos … which, incidentally, is the kiss of death where couples are concerned) … but now that Bravril have taken their lurve international? They might actually be in it for the looooong haul. My gut still tells me they won’t last but … stranger things have happened. What do y’all think … is this true love for Bravril?

Last month we saw photos of Janet Jackson showing off her super short new hair’do and today we get to see her rockin’ a bit more hair (tho, still short and very sassy) on the Harlem, NY set of the new Tyler Perry movie For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf … behold:

Man … Janet looks good with this short new ‘do. I love it! I’m not a big fan of Tyler Perry films but I might have to check out this one … I know Janet has starred in other Perry films so maybe it’s time I check one out. Incidentally, this is the film that Mariah Carey pulled out of at the last minute on the advice of her doctor (an act which sparked new rumors that she is pregnant with her first child). I’m not sure who they got to replace Mimi in this film but I’m sure we’ll be seeing photos of whoever the replacement is possibly with JJ on set soon. She looks fab, no?

When last we saw Michael C. Hall out and about he was spotted on the NYC set of his new film East Fifth Bliss lookin’ as happy as can be. As you may recall, MCH recently underwent radiation therapy after he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and we learned from his wife Jennifer Carpenter that he is now cancer-free! MCH and Jennifer were spotted here in SoCal this week lookin’ as happy and normal as ever as they made their way out of a dinner date at Kendall’s Brasserie:

Awww … don’t they look so great together? I am really thrilled to know that Michael C. Hall is doing well, is back to work and is enjoying life with his beautiful wife. MCH is honestly one of my fave actors and I cannot WAIT for the next season of Dexter to get underway. Considering that teaser spoiler we recently heard about the upcoming new season of Dexter, new eps can’t get back on the air soon enough for me. Keep up the good health, MCH!!

Yesterday we got our first look at new concept art that shows what Chris Evans will look like as Captain America in the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: The First Avenger. Today we get to check out concept art that shows us what Chris Hemsworth will look like as Thor in that upcoming Marvel film of the same name:

What’s especially cool about these Thor images is it’s the first shot we’ve seen of the Norse god wielding his hammer, Mjolner. It’s cool that not only does the top of the hammer glow, but you’ll notice that the grip also emanates blue light. It’s also interesting to see the size of Mjolner in proportion to Thor’s body. Of course, it’s not the size of the hammer, but how you use it. How it’s used in Thor is probably leveling buildings and fighting Norse gods … Thor hits theaters on May 6, 2011. For those who don’t know, Thor is being directed by Kenneth Branagh (Hamlet). The film also stars Natalie Portman as love-interest Jane Foster, Anthony Hopkins as Thor’s papa, Odin, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, the film’s villain. The film also stars Ray Stevenson (Punisher: War Zone), Tadanobu Asano (Mongol), and Joshua Dallas (The Descent: Part 2) as the Warriors Three; Idris Elba (The Wire) as Heimdall, Stellan Skarsgard (Angels & Demons) as Selvig, and Jaimie Alexander (Kyle XY) as Sif.

As you may recall, we already got to see an actual teaser photo of Hemsworth as Thor but this new concept art shows us what the whole costume will reportedly look like in the film. Personally, I think Thor‘s hammer Mjǫllnir looks a bit too small but, well, I guess maybe I’m just being a size queen about it. This afternoon David and I will be flying back East to attend his cousin Scott’s wedding in Massachusetts tomorrow. Trust me, the last thing I want to do this weekend is to fly round-trip across the country … but I love Scott and I’m so happy that he has found the love of his life to share the rest of his life with:

We will spend most of today flying so I’ll be pretty much off the grid … then we attend the wedding tomorrow afternoon before we fly back to LA on Sunday. Ugh, it’s gonna be a bit stressful but I know it’ll all be worth it to watch Scott get hitched to his ladylove.

Celebs like Kylie Minogue, Cyndi Lauper, Cheyenne Jackson and more made their way to The New York Public Library last night to attend the 2010 amfAR New York Inspiration Gala which honored singer Men’s Fashion as a whole and Ricky Martin, who recently came out of the closet as a gay man, in particular. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals and some deets from last night’s event:

Ricky Martin has stepped out in style at an AIDS research organization’s New York City gala celebrating men’s fashion. It’s one of his first public appearances since announcing he’s gay. Celebrities including Kylie Minogue and Cyndi Lauper attended Thursday night’s amfAR event, which honored the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer for his philanthropic contributions through his foundation. Minogue hosted the black tie/black leather event. She says she is happy for Martin and feels he’s “embracing and living life” since announcing in late March he’s gay. Designer Jean-Paul Gaultier was honored for his contributions to menswear and his humanitarian work. The gala benefits amfAR’s AIDS research programs.

I’ve always thought that Ricky Martin should be honored for his philanthropic work so I’m glad that amfAR decided to feature his great work at last night’s gala. I just LOVE that Kylie Minogue flew over from the UK to attend last night’s event in honor of Ricky … I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a freshly out of the closet gay man ;) And speaking of Kylie, NYers might want to be at Splash Bar tonight because the RUMOR is that Kylie will make an appearance there around 1AM tonight to promote her current single All The Lovers. UGH! So cool … I wish I could be there, believe me. BUT, getting back to Ricky, congrats again goes out to Mr. Martin for all of his hard work and good deeds. Let’s hope his philanthropy inspires others to work for the betterment of others as well.

Paris Hilton, that roving socialite who tends to pop up all over the world, has made her way to Egypt to make an appearance at the Automech 2010 car show (June 3-7) and decided to pose for a few photos in front of the famed pyramids while riding a camel. I mean … Paris Hilton really knows how to pimp ridiculousness, don’t she?

Flying into Egypt for a whirlwind promotional trip, it would be pretty safe to assume Paris Hilton didn’t read a guidebook beforehand. Spending a few days in Cairo, where she was being paid to appear at the Automech 2010 car show, Hilton traded in her usual shopping and partying exploits to soak up some of the tourist sites. But it appears no one had given Hilton any advice on the local customs, after opted for a revealing, backless maxi dress with plunging neckline. While the 29-year-old may have thought the long length of the skirt could be considered ‘modest’, she exposed a bit too much flesh on top in the Muslim country. As she visited the ancient Pyramids of Giza on the outskirts of Cairo, Hilton gave locals a glimpse of even more flesh as she hiked up her skirt as she cavorted on a camel for the cameras. While shorts and bikinis may be accepted on the Egyptian beach resorts of Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada, Westerners are expected to cover up more in the cities of Cairo and Luxor … After her trip to the Pyramids, Hilton managed another wardrobe change into a pair of black leggings and pink vest top for her visit to the Egyptian Museum in the city. The socialite kept fellow tourists entertained as she struck her typical red carpet poses beside ancient artifacts, including hieroglyphics and statues of Pharaohs … Writing on her Twitter page, Hilton enthused: ‘Paris is in Cairo! Loves it… I Love Egypt… Egypt is amazing.’ Fortunately for Hilton, she didn’t try and visit the city’s famous Muhammad Ali Mosque, where women are expected to cover their shoulders and legs. Hilton is expected to jet back to the U.S. today, where she is planning to spend the weekend partying in Las Vegas.

Ryan Phillippe has found himself a new ladylove … he and model/actress Alexis Knapp spent Memorial Day weekend together and were spotted making a supply run at a liquor store here in SoCal. I believe this is the first time that the pair have been spotted out and about together … might this be the birth of a serious new relationship?

Now, I don’t know many lasting relationships that have been borne of impromptu trips to the liquor store but, hey … anything is possible. Alexis sure don’t look very happy in these photos but I think that has more to do with her injured arm than with being spotted with Hottie McHotness Ryan Phillippe. We’ll have to keep our eyes on these two to see if anything will come of this new involvement. I, for one, would love to see Ryan happy in love again.
