In recent weeks we’ve been seeing some very cool artwork for the new comic book series based on the HBO TV series True Blood and previously we’ve seen comic art for other titles based on Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and even The Twilight Saga. But, Bluewater Productions is taking things a bit further with a comic book based on Twilight star Taylor Lautner himself. Here is what Tay Tay looks like in the inked flesh:

Arriving on shelves in August from Bluewater Productions, “Fame: Taylor Lautner” promises to chronicle the once-unknown actor’s meteoric rise in Hollywood, including his pre-”Twilight” years and upcoming roles. Kimberly Sherman, the author of Bluewater’s “Fame: Robert Pattinson” and “Fame: Kristen Stewart” comics, will script the 32-page issue, which will feature interior art by Warren Martineck and covers by JuanMar Studios.

LOL!! You just knew a comic book about Taylor Lautner would feature as much shirtlessness as possible. To be honest, I was never all that interested in the previous Fame comic books about Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson … but this Taylor Lautner issue might be worth adding to my comic book collection. What do y’all think, is this worth picking up?
