Well, well now … lookie here. It would seem that things are getting quite serious between actors Alexander Skarsgård and his new ladylove Kate Bosworth. As you may recall, we saw photos of Alexander and Kate — Bosgård, if you will — lookin’ all kinds of in lurve at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA last month. But, it turns out, the couple have been gettin’ to know one another in a seemingly romantic fashion since meeting on the set of their film Straw Dogs last year … and they first coupled up publicly at the Spike Scream Awards back in October of 2009. Since they popped up together at Coachella, the couple have been seen together in public but not too much … but lest you think things have been cooling in their relationship, think again. Just this past weekend, Alexander took Kate back home to Sweden to meet his parents! HMMMM … sounds like a big step to me. This past weekend was a family affair for Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth. The “True Blood” star took his not-so-secret girlfriend back home with him to Stockholm, Sweden, where they met up with his friends and family, E! Online reports. The couple, who have been linked since filming “Straw Dogs” last year, were reportedly spotted enjoying coffee Saturday in Nytorget, a popular district in Stockholm. “They looked so happy together,” an eyewitness said of the pair. “Kate was rubbing Alex’s back and looking up at him affectionately. You can definitely tell they’re in love.” According to E!, Bosworth appeared right at home, smiling and laughing with her new man in his home country. On Sunday, the couple were also reportedly out with friends and drinking wine at Åsögatan Aarts restaurant. “It really seems like they’re getting serious,” adds the insider. Though Skarsgard and Bosworth didn’t bother hiding their affection for each other during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last month, they continue to speak coyly of their relationship status.

Meetin’ the parents is a BIG step in any relationship … but to fly one’s beloved halfway across the world to meet the parents? Well, that smacks of some serious seriousness, y’all. I was quite surprised and happy to see these two lookin’ so lovey at Coachella this year and think they make a pretty hawt couple. Whether they can maintain a serious relationship in the long run is anyone’s guess, but this trip to Sweden seems to signal to me that Bosgård aren’t just playin’ around.
