MDG Sunglasses By Madonna Now Available For Sale

In mid March we learned that Madonna has teamed up with Dolce & Gabbana to launch a new line of high fashion sunglasses called MDG and a few days later got our first look at some of the styles being offered from the line. Today we learn that MDG Sunglasses are now available for sale online at THIS site … check out the various styles that are currently available for purchase:

To be honest, these sunglasses don’t look half bad. The aviator style glasses look fairly unisex but, in all honesty, it’s all about the oversized wrap around glasses :) You know, it gets really sunny here in SoCal (not these days actually … we’re in the grips of the May Grey and the June Gloom will be here shortly) so these sunnies might be just the thing to brave the bright sun this Summer. I, personally, wouldn’t be all that interested in buying sunglasses online without trying them on in person (especially at these prices, $200 – $400) but I suspect there are quite a few rabid Madonna fans who might be willing to buy up these glasses sight unseen. The new official website for MDG Sunglasses also features a promo film featuring her Madgesty modeling the glasses. Check it out after the jump …

Age, Old
More Photos From The ‘Harry Potter’ Epilogue Have Surfaced

Yesterday we got our first look at Harry Potter actors Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) on the set of the upcoming new film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows wherein they were made-up to look aged 19 years. As you may recall, Deathly Hallows ends with an epilogue that takes place 19 years in the future which explains what becomes of our fave Harry Potter characters. Today, we get to see a few more photos from the Deathly Hallows set that show other characters in their aged incarnations. But, so as not to spoil the fun for those of you who wish to wait until the film comes out (next year), I’ll keep the photos behind the cut … and after this teaser poster for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is currently filming the epilogue scene which is likely to be featured in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II”. After Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright were spotted on the set, their co-stars Rupert Grint and Tom Felton have also been pictured shooting the same part on Wednesday, May 26. During the production which took place at King Cross station in London, England, Grint and Felton sported make-up and outfit to portray the older version of their respective characters. Moreover, the depicter of Draco Malfoy was seen having a beard and longer lock. Pictures from the filming of “Deathly Hallows” epilogue scene which feature Grint and Felton are available at Harry Potter’s Page. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” will follow Harry Potter and his two best friends who leave Hogwarts behind and set out to find and destroy the Horcruxes-the secret to Voldemort’s power and immortality. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson all return to reprise Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger respectively. This final chapter of the “Harry Potter” film series is made into two movies which both will get 3-D treatment. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” is due for November 19 release both in U.S. and U.K. while “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” is scheduled for July 15, 2011 premiere.

If those of you who couldn’t resist looking at the photos posted yesterday were not impressed with the first photos then you prolly will not be very impressed this this new batch of photos. Check ‘em out after the jump …

New rumors surface
Is Mariah Carey Pregs?

Here we go again … new rumors are swirling this week that Mariah Carey is pregnant with her first child in the wake of her abrupt last minute decision to pull out of appearing in a new Tyler Perry film that is due to go into production next month. Now, pregnancy rumors where Mimi is concerned is nothing new BUT, it does seem odd that she would decide so suddenly to pull out of appearing in this new film … which would’ve been her first movie since appearing in Precious last Fall. Here is a photo of Mariah Carey on the red carpet at the 12th Annual Keepers Of The Dream Awards which was held at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in NYC last month … does she look pregs to you?

Mariah Carey abruptly pulled out of her role in Tyler Perry’s new film this week, PEOPLE has learned, sparking renewed speculation the singer/actress is pregnant. Carey, who won acclaim for her work in Precious, was set to appear in the adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Filming was set to start next month. But on Tuesday Carey abruptly withdrew from the project. “I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,” Carey’s spokeswoman Cindi Berger says, declining to give a reason for Carey’s withdrawal.

Considering that Mimi and hubby Nick Cannon just renewed their wedding vows on their second wedding anniversary earlier this month, I suppose the time is right for the couple to have a baby together. But it’s just impossible to believe any rumor about Mimi being pregs because new rumors spring up every other day. That being said, the reasoning over her possible pregnancy this time is sound so … we’ll just have to wait and see. I, for one, would LOVE it if Mimi and Nick really were expecting their first baby together so … I hope the rumor is true this time. Would YOU like to see Mariah give birth to her very own little lamb?

As new Idol is crowned, Simon Cowell says goodbye
‘American Idol’ 2010 Picks A New Winner

And so … America picks a new American Idol to reign over the landscape of competitive reality TV musicdom. Last night, the latest season of American Idol came to a close in a lavish finale episode that featured a host of big name musical acts, a tearful goodbye to the show’s meanest judge and — of course — the revelation of America’s pick for this year’s Idol. Here are a few photos of some of the big name musical acts who performed during last night’s finale ep:

While I am not a huge fan of the show itself, even I have to admit that American Idol puts on some of the most entertaining finale episodes on TV these days. Last night’s ep featured performances by Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Alanis Morissette, Bret Michaels, Carrie Underwood (herself a former AI winner) and more! It was deff worth tuning in just to see these pop stars pay homage to America’s biggest musical popularity contest. But, of course, the entire night lead up to the big announcement. In the end, there were 2 contestants left … Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze. But only one of them could be named this year’s American Idol. And the winner is …
