Gisele Bündchen Shows Off Her AMAZING Body In Hope Lingerie

Gisele Bündchen, who *just* gave birth to her son Benjamin Rein last December, is showing off her insanely SICK body in a new ad campaign for Hope lingerie. It’s photos like these that show why Gisele is arguably the best supermodel in the world:

Even when she was pregnant Gisele Bundchen managed to maintain her supreme figure, albeit with the addition of a rather large bump. So to see her back to the day job looking slender and on fine form is hardly a shock to any keen observer. The Brazilian model, 29, posed for a series of underwear shots in an advertising campaign for lingerie firm Hope – just five months after the birth of her son, Benjamin. And her immaculate frame appeared to have snapped right back into shape, with both her front and rear looking great. The model recently revealed that she had maintained a fitness regime throughout her pregnancy, but claims she hasn’t worked out since giving birth. She said: ‘I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. ‘I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.’ Gisele gave birth to her first child with husband Tom Brady in December.

I mean … wow. Gisele‘s body looks SICK. As a model, she is truly worth her weight in gold … almost literally. After the jump, check out a short promo video of Gisele modeling some lingerie from Hope

Today is a bit of a rough day for me … as a day of celebration has turned into a day of sadness. David and I enjoyed a great visit with his aunts Judy and Susan at their home here in Manhattan last night chatting away on their rooftop patio as we watched lightning roll across the city. Afterward, we met up with our good friend Kanani for a quick drink in the West Village.

Today we are making our way to New Jersey so that we can celebrate David’s other aunt Mary Ellen … who turns 50 years old today:

And while today should be a happy day of celebration, a family very close to me has suffered a great loss today. I’m not comfortable talking about the details publicly just yet but needless to say, the family is in great pain and all of my love and condolences go out to them today. I am looking forward to celebrating with David’s family but my heart and my mind is back home in Detroit with my friends who are dealing with much sadness today.

ADDITIONALLY: The site is having server issues today … it is working for some people, not at all for others. I understand the server hosts are cycling out the malfunctioning servers but I’m not sure how long it will take for the site to be totally back to normal. Thanks for bearing with all of the tech headaches.

Thousands mourn the late jazz singer/actress in NYC
A Final Farewell To Lena Horne

Earlier this week we learned the very sad news that famed jazz singer, actress and activist Lena Horne passed away at the age of 92 and today we learn that Ms. Horne has been laid to her final resting place. Thousands of mourners — including family, friends, colleagues and fans — lined the streets of Manhattan and filled St. Ignatius Loyola church yesterday to pay their final respects:

Thousands of mourners were bidding a final farewell to jazz singer and actress Lena Horne in New York City on Friday. She was remembered at her funeral as a shy girl from Brooklyn who broke through decades of racism to emerge as a world-class entertainer and social leader. Horne died Sunday at age 92. Mourners at St. Ignatius Loyola in Manhattan included her granddaughter, actress Jenny Lumet, former Mayor David Dinkins and singer Chita Rivera. Horne “was so many ideas existing all at the same time in the same space and they were all conflicting and they were all true,” Lumet said.”I’ve tried to sum her up and I can’t sum her up; summing up really means it’s over and I think that she’s not over and that she’s quite infinite.” Broadway star Audra McDonald stood over the casket and sang “Amazing Grace.” Horne’s seductive voice dazzled the world for decades with tunes like “My Blue Heaven” and “Stormy Weather.” She was among a handful of black actors and actresses to have a contract with a major Hollywood studio.

Her service sounded lovely … a fitting farewell to a very special lady. Lena Horne was a giant in the music world and her loss will be felt for many, many years to come. We have lost a true legend, one that can never be replaced. Again, I send my deepest condolences to her family and friends and I hope she is resting in eternal peace and tranquility. Ms. Horne … we love and miss you terribly.

Peace the Spork Out
NBC Cancels ‘Heroes’

Sad but expected news to pass along today … NBC has decided to finally stick a spork in its sci-fi drama Heroes. After another year of lackluster ratings, the network decided to cut its losses and end the series. While NBC has yet to officially announce its Fall lineup (it won’t do so until Monday), Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Heroes is, in fact, dunzo:

It seemed inevitable but the news is nonetheless shocking: NBC’s drama Heroes won’t be back for a fifth season. The beleaguered drama only averaged 6.5 million viewers this year. It last aired on Feb. 8, when it only brought in a mere 4.4 million. The show never managed to recapture those stellar ratings from its critically-beloved first season, when it averaged a whopping 14.5 million. There has been talk that NBC may air a movie that allows the producers to wrap up the story, but nothing has been set in stone. NBC will announce its fall lineup to advertisers Monday in New York.

Boo, this is sad news. There is no question — Heroes was a fantastic show. Its first season was such a phenomenal hit, I was sure it would live on for many years to come. Unfortch, the show (like so many others) suffered from that dreaded Writer’s Strike that hit Hollywood a few years ago and it just never recovered. To its credit, it was able to live beyond the decimation of the Writer’s Strike but it just never managed to get the ratings back up to where they needed to be. I really hope NBC does let the show make a TV movie to tie up all the loose ends … a show like Heroes really deserves to be wrapped up to the satisfaction of its loyal fans. As the EW article above states, this news isn’t all that surprising … but it is still very sad.

Michael Patrick King re-imagines the 'SaTC' ladies as ... babies
The ‘Sex And The City’ Ladies Do ‘Entertainment Weekly’ Magazine

The sexy actresses who star in the upcoming sequel film Sex and the City 2 — namely Sarah Jessica Parker (as Carrie Bradshaw), Kim Cattrall (as Samantha Jones), Cynthia Nixon (as Miranda Hobbes) and Kristin Davis (as Charlotte Yorke-Goldenblatt) — are featured on the cover and in the pages of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine. In the mag, SaTC director/writer Michael Patrick King shares a couple of fictional screenplays where he re-imagines the ladies in different settings, as different characters. Here are a few photos of the SaTC ladies in the pages of this week’s EW magazine and a cute fictional screenplay (written by MPK) that (oddly, yet funnily) re-imagines Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte as babies:

Ever wonder what Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha were like when they wore Pampers instead of Prada? You’re in luck! The writer-director behind the SATC movies offers this ”screenplay” featuring tiny versions of the fab foursome.

SEX AND THE CITY 2: THE PREQUEL
EXT. ”HAPPY BABY DAY CARE CENTER” — DAY

The sun is shining.

INT. HAPPY BABY DAY CARE CENTER

A room full of 2-year-old babies playing. Cheery walls, colorful children’s artwork on display. On a pink play mat in the corner of the room sit: BABY CARRIE, BABY CHARLOTTE, BABY MIRANDA, and BABY SAMANTHA…who is happily sucking on her bottle.

BABY SAMANTHA Hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmm.

BABY CARRIE We get it. You like milk.

BABY SAMANTHA Nonfat, low-fat, skim milk, whole milk, buttermilk…

BABY CHARLOTTE Buttermilk. Ewwww.

BABY SAMANTHA Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.

Baby Carrie glances over at Baby Miranda, who is looking sad.

BABY CARRIE What’s happening over there, Miranda?

BABY MIRANDA The day-care man never picks me up.

BABY CARRIE That’s not true. I’ve seen him pick you up.

BABY MIRANDA Once. And only when he had to ’cause I made a doodie in my pants.

BABY SAMANTHA Well — be more aggressive. Spit up on him. It works for me.

BABY CHARLOTTE I’m saving my spit-up for a really handsome day-care worker.

BABY MIRANDA Shhh — here he comes.

A HANDSOME MALE DAY CARE WORKER approaches them — seen only from the knees down.

BABY CARRIE (VOICE-OVER) As we watched the day-care worker approach, I couldn’t help but wonder — is any man really worth spitting up for?

The man puts a very cute, dark-haired LITTLE BOY on the play mat next to Carrie. The little boy looks at Carrie — his eyes twinkle.

BABY CARRIE (V.O.) And that’s when I saw him for the first time…Mr. Little.

Baby Carrie spits up on herself. Still adorable.

LOL!! This is cute but … weird. For more fun like this, click HERE to read Michael Patrick King‘s re-imagining of Sex and the City as a film-noir-inspired murder-mystery (random, I know). MPK also wrote a SaTC screenplay as a postapocalyptic sci-fi thriller set in 2040.

Sunflowers continue to flood in
A Special Delivery For Michael Jackson

After Lisa Marie Presley, ex-wife of the late Michael Jackson, posted a plea online asking MJ fans to send in bouquets of sunflowers to decorate MJ‘s final resting place we learned yesterday that at least one fan stepped up to heed her call to action. Today we get to see a photo of the first delivery of the first batch of sunflowers sent in by MJ fans:

I have no doubt that the sunflowers will continue to roll in. I think it is extremely touching that Lisa Marie would reach out to fans in this way in order to honor the memory of Michael Jackson. It’s hard to believe that we are coming up on the one year anniversary of MJ‘s untimely death. But I think this flood of flowers is a happy way to keep the memory of the King of Pop vibrant and alive.

Bloody, Hell
Watch: How To Destroy Angels, ‘The Space In Between’

How to Destroy Angels, the new band made up of Trent Reznor, Mariqueen and Atticus Ross, cryptically announced on Twitter late yesterday afternoon that “something” was coming our way. After a bit of delay, it was finally revealed that HTDA have released their debut music video. The first song they released earlier this month, as you may recall, is a song called A Drowning (available for download at Amazon and iTunes) but this new music video for for a different song titled The Space in Between and the video, well, it’s a beautifully disturbing scenario. Here are a few screencaps from the Space music video and a sampling of the tweets that lead up to the video’s release:

@trent_reznor – Stay tuned…

@destroyangels – You may want to start checking http://pitchfork.com/ / Minutes away we are being told. / UPDATE: 30 minutes. Really not trying to stretch this out. Really. Get some air. / Long-ass 30 minutes! (we’re not the ones pushing the button here) / New music and visuals: http://is.gd/c9nop / The video was directed by Rupert Sanders. High resolution versions should hit our site tomorrow.

The video is damn cool … haunting, disturbing and totally TR. The song is yet another taste of what we might expect from How to Destroy Angels. It’s not an upbeat, driving track … it’s a slower, more sonically driven track with Mariqueen‘s silky vocals leading the way down a very unsettling path. The song, in and of itself, is beautiful … when you couple it with the visuals featured in this new video … it becomes something more sinister, more disconcerting. After the jump, check out the music video for The Space in Between from How to Destroy Angels and see for yourselves …
