Okay, I’ve got one more bit of Betty White awesomeness to share with all y’all today. In March we learned that Betty is returning to TV in a new series for TV Land called Hot in Cleveland and later that month we got our first look at what the show will be like. Today we get to see a new promo video for Hot In Cleveland, which will go into filming production on May 10 here in SoCal … after Betty finishes her gig hosting Saturday Night Live tonight. Here is the fun new promo:

LOL!!! Fabulous! I just know … this new show is going to rule! People, you need to make sure you know where TV Land is on your cable system cuz this is a show you don’t want to miss. I can’t even get over my excitement of all this wonderful Betty White-ness going around. The lady just won’t stop making us happy … and for that, I will love her forever!

Last night, amidst my running around taking care of last minute preparations before David and I jet off to NYC for a week, I met up with Darion, Peter and his friend Lesley for a quiet dinner at Genghis Cohen … which, I’ve determined, is the best Chinese meal I’ve ever had in LA. You know it’s very important to have a Chinese restaurant that you can always rely on for amazing food … it appears I have finally found that place here in SoCal. We got to catch up and just hang which was really nice … and, of course, we snapped a fun pic to commemorate the occasion:

David stayed home because he likes to leave everything to the last minute so he was still prepping for our trip.

And so, it’s time to go back to NYC. It wasn’t that long ago that I was jetting back to NYC on an almost monthly basis (when David still lived there) and here I am … this is my first trip to NY this entire year! I haven’t been in NY since I was there to see Kylie Minogue on tour last October. As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE being in SoCal, I’m really excited to be back in the city for a few days. So … from tomorrow til next Sunday, I’ll be comin’ atcha from the East Coast! Woot!

New mama Gisele Bundchen stepped out Thursday afternoon with her baby boy Benjamin Rein and her step son John Edward Thomas (not pictured) for a fun day of crafting at the Color Me Mine ceramics shop in Santa Monica, CA. Here are a couple supercute pics of Gisele with Benjamin, which give us our first really clear photo of the baby boy’s face:

As you can see, Benjamin is the spitting image of his mother! As if the kid weren’t lucky enough to be spawned of Gisele and Football hero Tom Brady, he also has his mother’s supermodel good looks. Lucky little tyke. Gisele‘s step son John Edward wasn’t photographed with her because she was fine to leave him elsewhere in the shop playing with broken pieces of ceramic … OK, I’m kidding about that but it’s not entirely in the realm of implausibility that Gisele *might* favor her son over her step son. I’m absolutely NOT saying that will be the case … I’m just saying it’s possible in a joking Mommie Dearest manner. In any event, it sounds like it was a fun outing for the Brady Bündch. I suspect Gisele wants to warm up the new mansion being built for her by her hubby Tom with crafty little ceramic do-dads painted by the family. See, even supermodels can appreciate shabby chic!

Harry Potter film star Emma Watson is featured inside the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine (which, as you may recall, is devoted to the upcoming World Cup soccer tournament and features hawt fútbol studs on the cover) and in her accompanying interview, she opens up about how horribly she is doing in her first year at Brown University:

She’s Hollywood’s highest paid actress and the star of one of the biggest film franchises of all time. But Emma Watson has revealed she enrolled in acting classes at her American college. And in a candid confession, the 20-year-old said: ‘I think actually I’m the worst in the class.’ Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, chose acting class during her first year at the exclusive Brown University in Rhode Island. She admitted that she was terrified of going back to school following the phenomenal success of the six Harry Potter films that catapulted her to stardom … With an estimated fortune of £10.5million, Watson was named last year by Vanity Fair magazine as Hollywood’s highest paid actress taking home £20million. She earned more than established stars such as Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston thanks to her income from the latest two Potter films, The Deathly Hallows Parts I and II, which will come out in November this year and 2011. Watson stunned many in the film business by turning down other acting roles to go back to school last year having achieved straight As in her A-levels. She confessed that she had second thoughts about college life after arriving in the US. ‘It was just awful,’ she told this month’s Vanity Fair magazine. ‘I was like, I must be mad. Why am I doing this?’ … The actress told the magazine, which features her in a photo spread by celebrated photographer Patrick Demarchelier, that having settled into college life she has never been happier. She said she was worried her fame – she is also the face of fashion chain Burberry and has a £3million deal with Chanel – would prevent her from having a normal life like other students at the £25,000 a year college. ‘I was scared before I came to Brown – that I wasn’t going to be allowed to have both a career and a normal life,’ she said. ‘People would think that I didn’t deserve to have both.

Pshaw! If any actor deserves to have it all, I’d say Emma Watson is deffo the one. She seems to be such an unassuming, humble, extremely talented and — gasp — nice girl. She makes a fantastic Hermoine Granger and for that deserves all the success and wealth she has earned from her hard work. The fact that she wants to better herself at University just proves the kind of woman she wants to be … a well-rounded, accomplished woman. I just love her to death. Last month, Oprah Winfrey put out a call on her show asking that all Twilight fans send in stories about how big their love is for all things Twilight. Yesterday, Oprah selected the Mele family as the winners of the contest. What they thought they had won was a Skype interview with Oprah on The Oprah Winfrey Show … what they actually got was an in-person visit in their home from Robert Pattinson himself:

When Oprah Winfrey called all Twilight fans in April to submit stories about how the hit supernatural series changed their lives, Maria Mele knew she had to e-mail the daytime talk show host. Unfortunately, the super fan didn’t get the response she hoped for – tickets to attend the taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show where Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning would all be. So, she settled for being interviewed by Winfrey via Skype. Turns out, she got something even better than a seat inside Harpo Studios: Robert Pattinson at her doorstep. “[My family and I] all lost it,” Mele tells PEOPLE about the Tuesday night surprise visit from the British actor, which was taped for The Oprah Winfrey Show’s May 13 episode. “[We were] screaming like a bunch of maniacs. We were all amazed that he was in our house.” Just when Mele thought they were going to talk to Winfrey via webcam, Pattinson walked into her house, prompting her daughter Rosanna to start crying, while her son, Giuseppe, “was frozen” … The star, 23, stayed for about 10 minutes and “was great,” Mele says, “so nice. Funny. And so tall! He was beautifully flawless and a great sport.” “Robert was genuinely happy to fulfill our dream,” she says. “I still can’t believe it.” As an added bonus, Mele and her family did, in fact, get to go to the taping after all – with reserved seats. “It’s something we will never forget,” says the Twi-Hard mom. “I have to say although Oprah and Robert were great, hearing my kids say ‘thanks for making this happen’ [was] absolutely priceless.”

Wow. Just … wow. Can you imagine? Robert Pattinson showing up on your doorstep to hang out for a bit? I mean … wow. I have to say, I’m not the biggest Oprah fan (mainly cuz I just don’t watch her show) but this has to be one of the coolest things she’s ever done for her audience (er, well … maybe giving everyone free cars was the absolute coolest thing ever but this is pretty cool, too). I understand the Mele family sent in a photo recreating a scene from the Twilight film and … BAM! The win the coolest Twilight prize ever … an actual in-home visit from R. Pattz himself. I have to say, well done Oprah … you’ve deffo won the hearts (and souls?) of the entire Mele family … and most likely the jealous ire of every other Twilight fan on Earth who did not win your contest.

Joel Madden, frontman for his band Good Charlotte and avid Twitter user, is pretty fond of sharing his personal photos on his official Twitter account and this weekend some of those photos have been culled together by People magazine. “So a few weeks ago we were in PHILLY. One place I consider a home away from home,” Waldorf, Md., native Joel Madden Tweeted about a recent trip back East with Nicole Richie. “We saw the Phillies/O’s game. The O’s won of course….Still @nicolerichie had to root for against me!”

While in Philadelphia, the couple took daughter Harlow to the city’s 135-year-old zoo, the first in America. “Harlow really enjoyed the Hippos. Nicole somehow found a way convince Harlow that I am a gorilla,” Madden lamented.

Madden’s twin Benji finds himself the subject of Richie’s teasing, like when she posted THIS photo of the Good Charlotte guitarist. “Just walked in on @benjaminmadden posing like this in front of my 2 dogs. Ummmmmmmm…..”

Aww … love these photos! Joel Madden (as well as his brothers Josh and Benji) are the realest guys you will ever meet. I love that they are all so willing to share so much of themselves with fans. Twitter is such a great way to “get to know” the celebs that you may be a fan of and I can assure you, what you see/read from the Maddens is what you get in real life. It’s very clear that these guys are so thankful and grateful for their lives and they seem happy to share that bliss with the world. If you’d like to see more personal photos like these, you should follow them on Twitter. After all, who wouldn’t want an adorable photo of Harlow Winter to pop up in their Twitter timeline from time to time?

The day has finally come, my friends. Today is the day that our beloved Golden Girl Betty White hosts — for the first time ever — an episode of Saturday Night Live. What began as a small fan venture on Facebook has, at last, culminated in today … Betty White Day! To promote tonight’s show (arguably the most anticipated SNL episode of the season, if not EVER), NBC has released a couple of new promo videos … including this one which features Betty alongside the amazing cast of SNL alums who will appear on the show with her tonight:

While this may be a very impressive cast of comediennes, it’s very true … Betty White is the most important of them all. I am so excited for tonight’s ep, I can’t even tell you.
