Congrats!
Seth Green & Clare Grant Got Hitched!

Congratulations are in order for Buffyverse alum and all-around funny guy Seth Green and his longtime girlfriend Clare Grant who got themselves hitched over the weekend! There is a bit of confusion over whether the happy couple said their I Dos on Saturday or on Sunday but whatever the case may be, they did tie the knot and are now enjoying happily wedded bliss!

Seth Green and Clare Grant have made their relationship official. The pair walked down the aisle on Saturday, May 1. The ceremony took place at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in Northern California, reports said. Confirming the happy news, Seth’s musician/actor friend Weird Al Yankovic tweeted, “Just watched my buddy Seth Green get married. Beautiful wedding. Much love to him and his lovely bride Clare.” However, Radar Online claimed the wedding was held on Sunday afternoon, May 2. Seth and Clare met in 2008 and they became engaged earlier this year. The funnyman reportedly popped the question to the “The Graves” star on last New Year’s Eve. However, it was not until February that the “Old Dogs” actor confirmed the engagement.

Seth Green is one of the funniest young actors out there and I couldn’t be more thrilled for him and his new wife. It’s just crazy how members of Buffy‘s Scooby Gang are all growing up, getting married and having babies! Much love and many congrats goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Green today :)

Watch: ‘The Simpsons’ Do ‘Tik Tok’

Last night the opening sequence of The Simpsons was changed from its usual opening to a parody skit of the song Tik Tok by Ke$ha. Now, I honestly cannot stand Ke$ha in the least but I can appreciate that this Tik Tok song is catchy and very popular. Considering The Simpsons felt the song was worthy enough to parody, well, I guess I kinda hafta share:

In clever Simpsons style, last night’s opening sequence brought to life the insipid lyrics of the track (ie. “pedicure on our toes, toes / tryin’ on all our clothes, clothes / boys blowin’ up our phones, phones”) to make for a cute video sequence. Check it out in full after the jump …

Just a tease
First Look: Madonna In ‘Interview’ Magazine

Madonna will be featured on the cover and in the pages of the upcoming new issue of Interview magazine and today we get a sneak peek of Maddy‘s new coverphoto. Unfortch, the coverphoto peek is a bit grainy because the image had to be enlarged but it’s still a nice tease for what’s to come:

I understand that Maddy talks with director Gus Van Sant in the mag about topics as varied as her early career in show biz, her devotion to the country of Malawi and his Academy Award-winning film Milk. In addition to this grainy coverphoto preview, we also get to see a much clearer photo from Madonna‘s accompanying Interview magazine photospread. Check out that photo, after the jump …

Watch: Conan O’Brien On ‘60 Minutes’

On Saturday we got to watch a minute and half clip of Conan O’Brien‘s interview on 60 Minutes, which was his first televised interview allowed by law since NBC fired him from hosting The Tonight Show, and last night CBS finally aired the interview in full. I absolutely thought Conan‘s appearance on 60 minutes was the perfect way for him to get his side of the story across to the audience without laboring the issue. He was insistent that the audience be aware that he is “fine” in the wake of all of this drama with NBC and I think, at long last, this matter can — for the most part — be put to rest:

And on the seventh day, Coco spoke. Yes, we’d been waiting months-that-felt-like-years to hear from Conan O’Brien about his unplanned, unpleasant exit from NBC and The Tonight Show. Legally prohibited from criticizing the network — and from giving interviews until May 1 — he was left with little choice but to amuse himself (and us) on Twitter and on the stage with his “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour.” Tonight’s 60 Minutes interview was his first real chance to share what was on his mind. At least as much as he legally could. (Non-disparagement agreements, what lurks behind you?) So, how’d he do? He came across as likable and funny, yet didn’t rely on humor as deflection. He came across as sad, yet didn’t wallow in it. He came across as honest, but also tactful. He showed vulnerability at times — and, yes, hints of defensiveness — but did not resort to turning Jay Leno or NBC into a punching bag. He was also self-aware enough to share his predicament, but to also keep it in perspective. (After all, in the land of $32 million exit packages, is anyone truly getting screwed?) I liked and respected how O’Brien ended his last Tonight Show broadcast on a classy, gracious note — thanking the network for the times that were good and urging his fans not to give into cynicism — and I think he worked hard here to answer Steve Kroft’s to-the-point questions while seeking to uphold that philosophy … After O’Brien insisted that he wishes NBC Universal chief Jeff Zucker well — Zucker has also not reached out to O’Brien — Kroft reminded O’Brien that Zucker said that the viewers had essentially rejected him as host of The Tonight Show. “Can I take back what I just said?” quipped O’Brien, who objected to the idea that his show was a money-losing failure, and that six months was enough time to judge his chances for success. But if O’Brien carried an agenda into this interview, what he (smartly) wanted to drive home was the fact that he is alive and well: “It’s crucial to me that anyone seeing this take — they take anything away from this it’s I’m fine. I’m doing great… I don’t regret anything. I do believe, and this might be my Catholic upbringing, or Irish magical thinking, but I think things happen for a reason.” Told by Kroft that the Lutherans believed that, O’Brien whipped up a nice story-capping retort: “Okay, I believe that if I experience any joy in life, I’ll go to hell.”

In the end, Conan O’Brien has the right attitude about life. Sure, he got “screwed” by NBC and Jay Leno but in the grand scheme of life, he is a very lucky and very wealthy man. While it does “suck” that he got so poorly treated by his employers publicly, O’Brien does live a charmed life and honestly has no real cause for complaint about anything. I’m glad he got his chance to tell his side of the story … but he is doing just fine, he will continue to do just fine and yes I, too, believe that “things happen for a reason”. In case you missed it or just want to watch Conan O’Brien‘s interview on 60 Minutes in full, you can do so after the jump
