Lindsay Lohan SCRAMs At The Beach

Lindsay Lohan, who has been ordered by the court to wear a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet to ensure that she refrains from drinking alcohol, made her way to the beach this weekend to enjoy the sun and surf with friends. Unfortch, due to her required new accessory, L. Lo was unable to enjoy the warm weather without having to hear her knee-high leather boots to cover up her SCRAM:


As you may recall, Lindsay has been hiding her new SCRAM bracelet all week long … even while wearing different colors of this same style boot. It’s a shame she’s not feeling comfortable yet showing off her new accessory (and letting her poor legs breath in the stiflingly hot SoCal weather). Ah well … at least she’s behaving herself … I assume. I wonder how long it will take for Lindsay to finally be ready to show off her new SCRAM bracelet?

If I Could Turn Back Time

Yesterday was a pretty bizzy day for me, despite the fact that I was hoping to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon. After I got my work done, I left the house to take care of a bunch of errands. Our printer suddenly stopped printing colors properly and since it was a few years old, I thought it was time for an upgrade. I managed to find the AMAZING HP Photosmart Premium All-In-One printer that is, get this, completely wireless! Now all of the computers in our home can print to the same printer completely wire free! While trying to clean Saturday, I discovered that our vacuum cleaner stopped sucking … and it’s an old (cheap) piece of junk so I had to find a replacement too. So, yeah, I spent much of my day running around, taking care of menial but necessary things.

Last night, I ventured out to see Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time:


All in all I loved the film … even tho it was really terrible. From the first moment Jake Gyllenhaal opened his mouth and spoke with his RIDICULOUS British accent, I knew the movie was gonna be bad. That being said, Jake looked so good … omg, seriously, he is hot in every single scene. The plot of the film is complete rubbish but 2 hours of Jake lookin’ better than he’s ever looked in any movie before made it all worth it. Despite the fact that all of the action takes place in the blistering heat of the Persian desert — Jake never gets dirty, his skin stays perfect and his teeth gleam with unnatural bright whiteness. So believable. UNF, but have I mentioned how good he looks in the film? Yeah, it’s deffo worth seeing. Trust me :D

Today, I think I’ll venture down to Manhattan Beach to enjoy the beautiful day with my friends Emma and Josh. They graciously invited me to spend the day with them so I think that’s what I’ll do. I hope your Memorial Day is going well!

Yesterday we saw photos of Twilight co-stars and BFFs Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in Sydney, Australia and we learned that the pair would be participating in a Q&A with Aussie fans in support of their upcoming new sequel film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Today we get to see some photos from that (apparently rain-soaked) event and find out what sort of As the pair gave in response to fan Qs:

The Twilight extravaganza at rain-soaked Luna Park shows how die hard the movie franchise’s fans are, but it has also exposed its star Kristen Stewart’s attitude towards the fame which playing the role of Bella Swan has brought her. Despite being welcomed by thousands of fans, many of whom had been waiting since 4.30am (AEST) to catch a glimpse of their favourite teen idol, Stewart could barely manage a smile when she joined co-star Taylor Lautner on stage for a special QA to promote the latest cinematic instalment of the Twilight saga. Interviewed by the Nine Network’s entertainment editor Richard Wilkins under the Big Top of Sydney’s Luna Park, the 20-year-old looked uncomfortable, mostly keeping her head down to answer questions and tapping her feet as though she would rather be at band practice. A more engaged Lautner served up the charm ensuring his heart-throb status before an audience of 400 fans lucky enough to participate in the QA. When asked how she felt seeing herself on screen, Stewart confessed: ‘It’s always sort of funny, I like watching my movies and a lot of actors say they don’t like watching their stuff especially like if they are like me and if they are crazy and insecure, it’s weird and I’m sorry I don’t have an answer.’ She stumbled over her sentence before adding: ‘I’ve only seen the movie once and it was a rough cut, but it’s tough, whatever.’ Stewart referred to herself as ‘weird’ several times through the QA … Lautner, who plays the werewolf Jacob in the Twilight series, fared better with the crowd and interview. He praised the new film Eclipse saying it was his favourite in the series. ‘My favourite book and my favourite movie and the stakes were higher and there was more action and it’s a little bit darker.’ When asked by one fan if he would marry her, Lautner grinned and jested: ‘I’m an old fashioned guy and so I think we should get to know each other a little better at first to begin with and we will take it from there. I’m open to anything, man.’ His comments sent the crowd into a frenzy. The crush for both the young Hollywood stars turned into a rock concert when they met the thousands of fans outside, signing autographs on Twilight t-shirts, posters and even an iPod. Eclipse, the third fantasy blockbuster in the series, is set to open on July 1.

LMAOOOO … yeah, now this sounds like the Kristen Stewart we’ve come to know and love. I dunno why the Twilight folks keep sending her out to do Q&As like this unprepared because not only does she seem to hate doing them but she rarely comes off looking good when it’s all said and done. Poor thing. Taylor, as we are well aware, is much better at fielding questions and at giving the right sort of answers that fans want to hear. All in all, it sounds like this Eclipse promo event in Oz was a huge success.

A Reserved Rihanna Rocks Tel Aviv

Yesterday we saw photos of Rihanna touring some sacred sites in the Holy Land of Israel as well as a couple photos of Ri Ri relaxing in the pool at her hotel in Tel Aviv. Today we get to see a few photos of Rihanna on stage at Bloomfield Stadium performing in front of thousands of fans last night. As you can see from the following photos, it appears that Ri Ri decided to tone down her racier outfits for last night’s show in Israel:

R&B singer Rihanna has performed in Israel for the first time. Rihanna’s concert on Sunday night is part of her Last Girl on Earth European tour. Audience members had to participate in four hours of volunteer activity in order to receive tickets to the show at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv. About 10,000 fans received tickets to the concert. The star spent the weekend before her show touring in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. On Saturday night she helped Scouts and volunteers in Tel Aviv to paint the walls of their meeting center. In Jerusalem, she visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall, where she put a note between its cracks.

Shirley Manson Reveals A Secret Marriage

Congratulations are in order for singer/actress Shirley Manson (frontwoman of the amazing band Garbage) who revealed to Craig Ferguson on The Craig Ferguson Show last Friday night that she secretly got married to an American! As you may recall, Shirley has been spending her time lately working as a spokesmodel for Oliver Peoples Eyewear and recently confirmed not only that she’s been in the recording studio with her Garbage bandmates but that the band is talking about making a new album together. This news of a secret marriage is a bit of a surprise … here are the deets as she revealed them Friday night:

Former Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles. Manson, who sparked rumors that she was engaged after spotted wearing a massive sparkler on her ring finger back in 2008, revealed about the marriage during her appearance on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on Friday, May 28. “I married an American, it’s fantastic. He’s not (a musician). I would never marry a musician,” Manson confirmed. She further revealed that the nuptial was held in a courthouse registry service and she and her husband skipped a honeymoon but preferred to stay in a hotel in Los Angeles. “It was very unromantic. We eloped and went to the L.A. courthouse and it was about as unromantic as you can get,” Manson explained. “It was so unromantic it was super hot. You just turn up (to the courthouse).” Manson, who was previously married to actor Eddie Farrell and got divorced in 2003, later said, “This is my second (marriage) which is why I decided not to do the traditional. We didn’t (have a honeymoon). We went and got drunk and did a stayover, which is when you stay in your city but you go to a hotel.” Back in 2008 when asked about the sparkler on her ring finger, the singer simply responded, “It’s a nice rock but I’ve decided not to talk about anything like that because it turns into a nightmare.” Meanwhile, Manson’s father, John, also insisted he would get into trouble if he spilled the beans. “All I can say is she is very happy. The two of them have been together for a while and things are going well,” John said. “They live in LA but they have been to visit and our whole family have met him.”

Man, I just love this woman. While news of her nuptials come as a bit of a surprise, I couldn’t be be more happier for Shirley and her new hubby. Ever since she teased that Garbage might begin work on a new album, I’ve been trying to keep an ear to the ground for any news. It sounds like Shirley may be a bit preoccupied with her new husband rather than a new album. Even still … I’ve always known that Garbage would release new music. While we may have to wait a bit longer, I know the music will come. In the meantime, enjoy the hubby, Shirley! Much love and congrats!!

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon ‘Roll’ Thru Memorial Day Weekend

While some celebs are vacationing in Mexico this fine Memorial Day Weekend (like Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi and Chace Crawford) and other celebs are hard at work in far flung places around the world (like Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner and Rihanna), married couple Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon decided to spend the weekend here at home in SoCal. The couple were spotted driving around Malibu, CA this weekend lookin’ fly as all get out … tooling around in a sweet-ass Rolls Royce Phantom convertible:

Nick Cannon chauffeured his wife Mariah Carey around sunny Malibu over Memorial Day weekend in their drop-top Rolls-Royce Phantom. The couple of two years is rumored to be expecting their first child. Adding more fuel to the fire is Mariah’s recent departure from Tyler Perry’s film For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf, in which she was to star alongside Janet Jackson. “She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to,” the singer’s rep told UsMagazine.com. “More than that I cannot comment further.”

HMMMM … considering the number of pregnancy rumors that tend to pop up where Mimi is concerned, I can see how one might be hesitant to believe this latest rumor. BUT, considering the way in which she abruptly pulled out of this new film … I think this latest rumor has got a pretty good chance of being true. If she is, indeed, pregs … I can see how Nick might want to drive around his Queen in car fitting of her stature. I mean, this car is SICK. I can’t even begin to understand how much money a vehicle like this might cost … but nothing’s too good for Mariah Carey, y’all. I think we’re gonna hafta keep a close eye on Ms. Mimi … after all, we may very well soon have to start up an official Bump Watch.

Chace Crawford Takes His Hot Bod To Mexico

Yesterday we learned that happily marrieds Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have made their way south of the border to get in a bit of rest and relaxation time in Mexico and today we learn that Gossip Girl star and hunk Chace Crawford has, too, made his to Mexico for the holiday weekend. Here are a few photos of Chace showin’ off what his mama gave him as the relaxed at his Mexican resort hotel:

He may be a pin-up to fans of his hit show Gossip Girl, but Chace Crawford didn’t spend Memorial Day weekend living the high life. Instead he joined his parents and sister for a quiet family holiday in Mexico. Joined by his journsliasm student sister Candice and her boyfriend, American Football star Tony Romo, the group, enjoyed a quiet day by the pool. With his shirt off, Chace showed off the toned body which has won him a legion of female fans in his role as Nate Archibald in Gossip Girl. The 24-year-old played a game of horse shoes with his father Chris and mother Dana, before topping up his tan on a sun bed.

Um … yes, according to this report, Chace was spotted with family and friends but, to be honest, I barely noticed that anyone was with him. As you can tell, I only have eyes for these lovely photos of Chace all by his hot lonesome. Not for nothing and no offense to Ellen and Portia but these photos of Chace are far more entertaining than the photos of Ellen and Portia we saw yesterday. You know, I’d like to just put this out there … I like horseshoes, I play a mean game of horseshoes … should you ever need a horseshoes partner, Chace, I’m so your man :D

Co-star BFFs Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have made their way to Australia to do a bit of promo work for their upcoming new film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Here are photos of K. Stew and Tay Tay doing whatever it is that they needed to do in Oz this weekend:

Twilight Saga stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner arrived in Sydney on the weekend and got straight down to the business of having fun. Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the hugely popular vampire flicks, flew into Sydney on a Qantas flight from LA on Saturday night. Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, arrived at 6.30am (AEST) on Sunday. They are in Australia to promote the latest Twilight movie in the series. The pair enjoyed a jet boat ride on Sydney Harbour on Sunday, before paying a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park in the city’s west. They saw koalas, baby crocodiles and wombats during the trip. On Sunday evening they had dinner at Bondi Icebergs. Both were driven around in a convoy of Cadillac Escalade SUVs amid tight security and heavy media interest. Stewart and Lautner are due to be grilled by fans in a QA session at Sydney’s Luna Park on Monday. So-called Twi-hards lucky enough to score tickets to the event will be treated to a screening of the second Twilight movie New Moon after the QA. But the Twilight love isn’t limited to Sydney. Fans across the country will be able to watch a live feed of the QA broadcast to selected cinemas nationally, to be followed by a screening of New Moon. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is due to hit cinemas on July 1.

But, it wasn’t ALL fun and games for Ms. Kristen Stewart … no sir. She seemed to get a little annoyed with the attention she was receiving from the Aussie paparazzi … so she decided to wave hello to them … with just her middle fingers. Check out those fun photos, after the jump … More »
