Over the weekend, fútbol player David Beckham and his sons — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — met up up football player Tom Brady and his eldest son, John Edward Thomas, for a bit of male bonding at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA together. It was a chance for the two young sporting families to get together to kick around the soccer ball and toss around the pig skin as one big group of BFFs … behold:

Injured soccer star David Beckham took his sons to play with a different shaped football at the weekend. The England midfielder took his family to visit the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena for the UCLA (University Of California, Los Angeles) spring game. And there Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and Cruz, five, met up with star New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Brady, who is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen, was accompanied by his own son John Edward Thomas (JET) Moynahan, two. Wearing an All Saints T-shirt with an unusual skull print, featuring the slogan ‘Houston We Have A Touchdown’ printed on the front, Cruz got stuck in to a game of throw and catch with Brady. But Beckham had to console his son when he was hit in the face by the ball and had a little cry. However he was soon back in the thick of things, soldiering on just as his football playing father has done on the pitch.

Yeah, that big meanie Tom Brady managed to chuck the football at Cruz hard enough to bang into his face and make the poor little guy cry. Had Becks not been nursing his torn Achilles tendon, he prolly would’ve kicked a soccer ball missile at little John‘s head in retaliation. Yeah, these guys mean business. Aww … poor Cruz. He seems like a tough little tyke tho, I’m sure once he got his tears out he was ready to play some more. These pics are cute, y’all. I’m thinking this is the start of a beautiful friendship between these families.
